ooooooooooo can I post even if i'm not from the West coast.. because we all know how much I love it out there!!!  I actually msged Ben and told him he had to start this thread.... I'm happy someone did it! :)
 
okay, so here is why i think i have the right to invade on the WC forums.... I moved back to Ontario a few weeks ago... and am still missing Whistler!  Can't wait to get back there in August!!  I have decided not to take a contract teaching job this year, so that I wouldn't have to quit at the end of the year. I'm just doing a one year contract, then heading back to Whistler. I woudl have stayed out there too if it weren't for the weddings and crap i have to take care of here!
 
Hope to make it out west at least once this winter for boarding though!! I can'T wait for snow!!!

Ah yesss, the smell of fecal decay....GROSS! Cork it already!  lol, Seriously though here is a dilema I'm faced with. Rabbit Hill is offering a Family season pass for $499 and they will toss in free lessons which I'm sure my son would appreciate (I would suck as an instructor as I have little patience when it comes to riding). BUT for a local run it is almost an hour to get to from the North side. Meanwhile Sunridge has added verical this year which is still not fully ridable this season. The Family pass there is $449 which has no lessons. BUT it is only a 15 minute drive from my house, the runs are short but the park is interesting and the black runs can be outright hazardous if you take them wrong (great challenge!). Staff there are awesome as well. Being so close to home and work I can ride during my luch hours and hit them again all evening on the way home. Last season I ALMOST rode every day. Ahhh, what the hell, guess I'll get a Sunridge pass again.

but I agree, every regional forum needs somewhere for people to just chat.. otherwise all th other threads become chatty and then... well you get the europe forums! haha  I like picking on them because they are a great bunch of people and can handle it!
