I just want to let all of you Portlanders and Hood Rats know that I feel really bad for you.  I'm bummed about Highway 35 getting destroyed and the beginning of your season at Meadows getting ruined.  I know many of you work there, love riding there, bought passes there. etc.  And I think it sucks that Mother nature decided to unleash her wrath against Dave Riley and Meadows  North in such a way!  I guess those Fusion Passes are looking pretty damn hot right about now!!  I'm happy for T-Line and Ski Bowl, and everyone who will benefit from the increase in skier traffic to these areas, but I'm bummed for those of you who liked riding there because it's not as busy as Meadows!  Let's hope it dumps and dumps and stays cold enough to rebuild the highway quickly and keep the snow falling below 5,000 feet!!  I'll be in Bend, where it always stays cold, and hopefully some of that moistuire will actually make it's way over to us!! If any of you want to come visit, let us know!! We'd be happy to ride with you, show you around, and hang out!!   Pray for snow and some quick road building!!
