The latest trip was a blast! Vermont and Massachussettes and New Hampshire were exactly what they should always be... I love going out to the East side and experiencing snowboardingin a whole new community, it's like a different country over there almost. We get glimpses of it over here via magazines and summer time interactions, but it's a completely different energy and attitude over there. The people are incredible!! I have met so many amazing people while traveling in New England, and I look forward to going back every year to see them and meet more. Roger, Regis, Dave and Jen, Mary and Craig, Fran, Scott, Ross, Molly, Jane, Greg, Scott M, Louie, Danny D, Link, Rosy, Whitsell, Walker, Meggs, Mutty, everybody I'm forgetting, you are all an important part of why the US Not Allowed is and always will be an event that I can't bare to miss. And you are welcome here in Portland whenever you feel like coming for a visit!! And now I'm at home, watching it rain, knowing that it's finally snowing on Mt. Hood, and we are going to have a real summer!! I really hope that Preston isn't scared by my intimidating cover letter, and that James Jackson doesn't have any reason to speak, think, or feel badly about me, because I really want this job at HCSC!! It's the only place I really belong in the summer, except maybe in South America or New Zealand, but I want to affect the kids closest to home!!
