OMG, that's pretty much my exact season start too!!
As you know, we had no snow to speak of really anywhere in the States.  No even in the UP, it was pretty insane.  Finally got a few runs open, but it was patchy and sucked so bad, it made me tear up...lol
 
Around Christmas I came home to visit the family (Illinois) and didn't even bring my board, but then Co. got hit with that big storm, and I called my sister who lives in Denver and told her we were crashing her house to ride and she thought we were joking til we showed up...lol...Co. is amazing (and expensive) but so worth it.

hahaha....I like the gear description:  "just a black jacket"....nice.
 
Karma for you, how was your season?  I was in NC not long ago, beautiful place.  Came back home and brought the snow with me...lol...it was like 80 when I left and like 20 when I came back!!
