... I finally did it, yes this is my new home!! 3 stories, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 1258 sq.ft.
Actually it's a townhouse, but I am a happy and proud NEW home owner. Nice kitchen, living room with nook, and lots of good light.
After nearly 2 months of aimless driving around neighborhoods (with Sandra as my trusty co pilot) I finally found a new place to call home. This search was especially difficult as it was my first home purchase and my budget was not huge. It was dozens of crap-shacks and fixer-uppers, some so bad they couldn't pay me to take them. It boggles the mind with what some people do to their homes.
Then one Sunday there were two homes of high-interest that fit my loose but stringent needs. In brief, I went with the new townhouse versus the older house so I won't have to spend all my weekends and money fixing it up. Less equity in the long run, but maybe not. All in all I'm a satisfied buyer. =)
The keys to the "hood" are mine April 23rd !! It's an end unit of 4 with solid construction so getting a little wild now and then shouldn't bother anyone. Yet, no couch... no refridgerator, no washer and dryer... There will be spoiled food, dirty clothes, and no where to sit !! ... what am I going to do ?!! =P
