I doubt that anybody ever looks at this anymore. I would say that I have been gone for a couple years. Well here and there I've been, but otherwise I was mia. Its been a long and interesting journey to where I am today. It all started when Julia met Alex. It literally started that day. Not that them meeting is a bad thing. I love them both dearly. Anyways after that there was some drama and Chantelle and I who had never really liked each other were all of a sudden super good friends. I know! crazy! (I love Chantelle dearly by the way) So Chantelle was dating this really cool guy Darcy, and they were super crazy in love. Oh did I mention we lived in Kelowna and Darcy was in Vancouver. Anyways we had this great place downtown Kelowna, a block from a really nice beach. Cheap rent. Wicked cool neighbours. It was such a great summer. And then one day Chantelle asked me if I would move to Vancouver. I said what the hell its not like theres anything in Kelowna for me. So we moved a month later to Vancouver. As soon as we drove into town we had a place. Then there was some drama and Chantelle was gone. So I was in Vancouver all alone. I hadn't made any friends yet. I hated it. I wanted to go home but its not like there was anything in Kelowna for me. I was working at broadway station starbucks (the best starbucks in east van baby). So one day I went into work and there was a new girl (not really new just a rehire, and if you've ever worked for starbucks, you ALWAYS come back). Her name was Julia! I know weird. Could this Julia be my Julia in Vancouver! well turns out she wasn't, but she introduced me to a girl that would change my life forever... Her name was Chelsea Johnson and she was (Chelsea don't take offence) a big scary black girl, but man could that girl sing. And if you know me you know that I am a singer and guitar player. So her and I teamed up and we became the storytellers. Check it out something might just come up. So anyways needless to say there were some crazy (and I mean crazy) times that we had. Hey even some people off of snowboard.com had experienced the likes of Chelsea Johnson, ahem and if you (you know who you are) remember a certain little open mic we ventured to which turned out there was a super fun (gay) dance party upstairs. Yah good times. Needless to say things were getting way outta control... my new best friends where Chelsea, Danny, and Derrick. We got into way too much trouble. Before I knew it my life was spinning and pretty much heading down a really bad path. So I removed myself from that. As much as it killed me to leave my friends I figured that theres more to life then drugs and going dancing. Plus I had met a really amazing guy. So with my hurt and my love I moved back to Kelowna. A month later Nick followed me there. He fit right in with the family and from then on I knew that he was the one for me. Anyways as you can imagine there was extreme drama going on between different family members on both sides and we had to move yet again. Now we are in Nelson (a place I had never been until I moved here) and so far things are good. I live in a little tiny cabin, about 15 minutes out of town, right on kootenay lake. I am alone most of the time because Nick works out of town. I know that people probably won't read this at all but I just had to write it. Maybe just to make sense of it all myself. Maybe to explain to the people I left behind why I did what I did. I will never forget my year in Vancouver. The people I made connections with, the things I did and see, and the little one I had to leave behind. You all molded me into this and I love you all for that. have fun in the snow!
