Wow, I'm off the hill before dark on a sunny day, that's the first time that's happened in a long time.
If I haven't been updating much as of late it's because of all the work days i've been putting in. Sorry, but ya gotta make hay when the sun shines. And it just keeps shining.
My heart goes out to Billy, and the rest of Jeffy's family, i can't even imagine what they're going through. Take care out there people, this winter has been almost too much to bear.

I've been doing so much exploring lately that you can call me Marco freakin Polo. It's good though, I've seen parts of the backcountry that I've never been to before, and added them to my mental map.
I watched a hypnotist last night and it freaked me out. Those guys are scary. They can make you do things that you'd never ever do. Freaky.

Shin is going to Russia for three weeks. Today was his last day on snow before he goes and we went deep into the wilds of our backyard. we went so far that i ran out of gas on the way back. It was fantastic. I think that i live in one of the most beautiful places on earth, and even though i know this, some days i am just awestruck by it. today was like that all day long. just awestruck.

i just took off my snowboard boots. it's fifteen minutes after seven o'clock at night. i put my boots on this morning at about seven o'clock. 12 hours in snowboard boots. i think i need new boots. these ones are starting to stink.

i just noticed that i used the word amazing twice in a sentence that was only 12 words long in my journal yesterday. whoa. i think i was a little out of my head.
