Finally, the end of a rough week. Only two more days until a month of freedom! Almost a week since the horrible news about my good friend Kyle breaking his back during his 3rd ride day of the season. What a cruel world.. Finally got a chance to speak with him, and he's doing very well. 6 hours of surgery equals bone taken from his hip to replace the 3rd vertebrae. He has feeling in all the extremities and has even been walking a bit with a brace. Tough kid that one. Tough, but crazy as hell...
Off to Whistler this coming weekend, should be a good time I hope. I can't pass up an opportunity to ride there. The next 2 weeks should be action packed with nothing but riding and sleeping..maybe a bit of drinkin in between.
