1st time riding after coming back from CO is always sure to be a little crappy. Saturday everyone bailed on me so I went to Tyrol all by my lonesome & didn't stay long, didn't hit the park at all. Well actually, everything I liked to hit in the park was taken out to make room for the pipe, which has not been cut yet. They don't even have the big air jump anymore. Only jump was a really small one on the other park run. Crappy.
Sunday went to Devil's Head with Annie & Forrest & it was fun, but I was still a little gun shy because the snow was so hard & the last jumps I hit were so butter. Didn't want to hurt myself. Only thing I hit was a jump over 2 barrels, 2nd time over sat down on the landing & bruised my butt on the ice. Just from sitting down! I kept hitting it though, started tail bonking the barrels which was really fun. Probably going back to DH next weekend. Maybe I'll start hitting the jumps again. Maybe the snow will be a little softer??
