Despite the cold overcast weather we got out on the boat and got a 1/2 day of riding in. I tried new fins on the wakeskate first & they made it way too hard to spin, so maybe next time I'll try some really small fins. I was able to start doing small ollies on the skate, but spent most of the time trying unsuccessfully to spin. Tyler got some nice running videos of me (when the skate stuck on its fins & I kept going without it) & I had several really impressive face plants.
2nd session out I tried a bigger wakeboard than the tiny one I've been using. The bigger board helped a lot, but still no w2w jumps yet :( I did come pretty close once, but I guess I'm not sticking to my line when I cut in. Surface spins, butter slides, and riding switch are becoming a lot easier so at least I'm making some progress. Next time hopefully we'll get Annie to come down and ride with us - I think Tyler finally remembered how good I told him she is and now he's excited about the idea of having a "chick who can ride better than all the guys" ;-)
