I was seriously angry when I didn't think I was going to get to ride at all this weekend, until Annie called & woke me up to tell me Tyrol was opening Sunday, yeaaaayyy! So she and Edgar rode up with me & we ran into Palidon & Coco, & another guy Brandon I think?? They didn't have much snow & there was a really sketchy jump that even I wouldn't hit because the landing was, uhh...basically there was no place to land. So we hiked the rail park & poor Edgar fell on the box his 2nd run & it dug into his leg & took a chunk of his flesh out. He went into ski patrol & after a while we went in to check on him & he was wearing an oxygen tube! His leg was so bloody it got all over his boot & his sock was completely drenched..eewww mental picture! After they let him go we had lunch & then he went up and rode the rest of the day, lol.
I did a couple good tail presses & tried to do a nose press that basically looked like an ackward 50/50. Annie had a NICE wreck when she went on switch to bs boardslide to toe edge. And of course we ended the day at Grumpy Troll. Can't wait for day 8, but 1st is Thanksgiving vacation.

Friday night I picked up Annie in Rockford & drove up to Green Bay where we stayed with Erik & Jessica, then we rode at Ski Brule Saturday. I had so much fun, I actually lost my voice. Saturday I finally did my frist method, yeah!! After riding, we went back to Green Bay & went to Lambeau Field since Annie's a huge Packers fan. After she fondled all the Packers' statues, we drove down to Mt. Horeb (Tyrol Basin), and Forrest drove up after work and met us there. Sunday we rode Tyrol & ran into Palidon, Sans, Jake & Coco. The jump was back but it was already rutted out, & didn't take long for the approach to turn into a mogul field. I think I hit it about 10 times and it was so hard to keep my balance going into it, I did like 2 methods & every other time either fell or couldn't do anything. We hiked the rail park a little & I got frustrated because I couldn't get a comfortable line going into the box 'cause the transition was all lumpy, so I only tail pressed it once or twice. It was a great weekend though. It's always a great weekend when you learn a new trick, and have your riding buddies around :)

Rode Tyrol Basin Saturday & Sunday with Edgar, also ran into Jake & Palidon Sunday. Saturday they had a park with rails & boxes set up, & I really don't jib much at all, but there were no jumps so I was hitting a box & ehh, not doing so well on it. They had a barrel jump set up that was killer fun, but then a group came along & messed with it & ruined it. Sunday I almost peed in my pants when I got on the first lift & saw that a jump had been built with a 20-25 ft gap! I was so excited I started hitting poor Edgar ;-) My jumping was pretty rusty, but the jump was nice & smooth, until later in the day when the line going into it got all bumpy & nasty. It got so bad I finally decided not to hit it anymore...yeah, you know it had to be really bad if I wouldn't hit it. We started hiking the rail park & hitting 2 of the boxes, and I started doing tail presses on them! Well that was a pretty big deal for me since, like I said, I don't jib much. So stoked for next weekend :-D
