I am a highschool grad. I just recently moved to Banff with 3 friends for the seoson to go snowboarding. I grew up in Kitchener Ontario riding at Chicopee Ski Club. Moved to Banff
My Blog: Tuesday, December 20, 2005
Me and three friends moved to banff mid November. Since we got there we stayed at one friends Aunt and Uncles in Canmore. Then in Banff weve stayed at The International Hostel, Tourist Accomidations (B&B), The Y Mountain Lodge and with this awsome local girl. We got Ski Big 3 passes so we can ride Sunshine, Lake Louise and Norquay. The snow was amazing at first then got a little hairy for a week then got amazing again. Weve found all sorts of amazing riding in the Sunshine Backcountry . The Lake has a cool little park going on already. We've hiked up Sulfer Mountain and Norquay. Right now were all home in Kitchener for the holidays but were all going back before the new year. Its been amazing so far and I recomend planning a trip to Banff to everyone its an amazing place.

B.... hey babe whats going on? we talked not to long ago but it got cut short so how are you doing? hope everything is going good for you hope the knee werksout and all that... jayme was out there like last week and i think she saw chris... well thats what she said at least ... im on disability right now at chicopee i fractured my elbow, and cracked my shoulder blade... not to nice but oh well i knew i was i for some sort of incident this yr... any who keep in touch ok misses you i might come out soon:)

hey man ya it has been, i never see u on msn so i figure u must not have the net. But im just hangin out here in kitch for a few months cause im makin some good money, and i think ill use it to buy a civic or somthing good on gas so i can drive out. That way i can live in canmore and ill have no problem findin a place and most jobs pay like 12 bucks. I can also check out all the sik mountains on pow days and hit up big white and whis a few times too. Still tryin to see how things will work out tho. Wheres chris at these days? you guys not livin with him anymore?

the buses are called Brewster. Im actually not exactly sure how the bus system works in canmore acuz i lived in banff last season. Cuz banff has buses going to and from the hill all the time. Canmore im not exactly sure what its like. I know the staff buses for sure though.

Hey, just replying your message but I definately recommend you take free money while you can. We don't get many tourists in mid-winter so not very many businesses looking to hire but we have so many ski/snowboard shops in Banff that you're almost guarenteed a job. Just apply to places earlier and let them know you're looking to get a job later on. Banff is sweet, let me know when you come. Oh and I strongly advise against getting a season pass for Norquay.
