It's been awhile. I have my phases with checking this thing or doing anything with it, but I guess it's time. Snowboarding is for the most part over for this season and it was a good one. Didn't get too many days riding but the ones I did get were powder and lots of fun. School is over for the semester-kinda. I have one test and two papers then it is. I can't believe time is going by this fast. The best news of all is I am going to Greece for two months this summer. I am taking a philosophy class and then traveling around. I will be going by myself and that is a little scary but I think the growth will speak volumes about me and my character.
All in all, I am enjoying school and the way my life seems to be heading. I have made some incredible friends and have had amazing opportunities present themselves to me. Last weekend I had the opportunity to ride Pikes Peak (14er in CS) and then go bridge jump afterwards. Although I was a little scared to jump off the bridge I felt like it was a mirror into my life. It was up to me to jump and go for it full heartedly or just sorta fall off. I chose to go for it and make the most out of the time. In the end I was overjoyed with laughter. May that same spirit escort my travels to Greece.

finished my last final today. had an amazing day of riding yesterday. there really is nothing like breaking up a couple of finals with a good powder day. that's what I call clarity. plans for the break??? riding as manydays as I can. I decided yesterday, for the 9000th time that i really like to snowboard. haha :) for anyone who happens to read this and lives in breck. tellthe dominos pizza guy eric it was fun to ride together.

One final down and one more to go. snowboarding tomorrow. balance out the two exams wtih riding and finding the flow within nature-translate it to math and chemistry-relationships...Every and all kinds imaginable. people things situations. They all house a window into remembering who I am. I have been so astonished this week at how inteconnected everything really is and how well they all seem to balance themselves out. I find so many relationships between how the universe works and how we do. They seem to be mirrors of one another. That's one of the reasons i enjoy riding. I have had brilliant epiphanies that show me incredible insights into my inner life. Yoga is the same for me as well as mtn biking. Yoga puts me more in the moment and has created an awesome space for connecting my emotions to my body. Mtn biking is scary to me although it is a reflection of breaking through challenges and fears through being present and in the moment-balance from yoga to trails. And, I've been riding long enough now to see into my soul from being on the mtn. Recognizing the power of the words I speak and seeing how trust and confidence create a clean and powerful experience. Thanks, this life is truly amazing.

Why do I care?
It means the difference in experiencing a fuller more uplifting life. It means loving and seeing more into myself everytime allowing myself to love even more. It maenas lookng for the dimentions within every prepblem. Looking for the signs in everything. Sometimes it, meaning I, drive myself crazy. Seeking simplicity wtihin the complexities and taking it all back to center. 
The alcohol speaks loudly tonight. The first evening of a short, but desired, break from the semster.

I have never blogged before. In fact, I have just recently been introduced to this new world of blogging-yes some say I live in a hole. I am used to hearing it.
I have recently entered into a new phase of change in my life again. Another opportuity to become comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. My analagy is another one related to snowboarding. I went riding for my first day yesterday. It was awesome. I rode switch the second half of the day and became even more aware of my balance. I listened to my mind getting louder but could hear the yoga practice dominating the head chatter. Push though it. Where is your focus? What do you do in an uncomfortable situation. Where is your focus?? And what I noticed was how much stronger my regular riding became through my discomfort.
I only wish I had the insights into my mind and soul as regularly as I do when I ride. But until that day comes, I am so greatful for the opportunities I do have. And, I continue to use the metaphores of life in snowboarding to expand my consciousness and increase my awareness.
