Posted on Dec 17, 2008 looking into transferring out to the university of utah next fall and wanted to know from the locals what part of town might be affordable for a student and close to good riding as well as classes. any help is appreciated. also, which resort is the best for bowls and off-piste riding?

challenger4 has created a new forum topic swiss/ french snowboarding. Posted on Nov 16, 2008 can you do it off the piste? is hiking to a remote area to find fresh snow allowed in europe? all the pics and vids i see make it seem like you cant leave the trails AT ALL. anybody ever tried?

challenger4 has created a new forum topic Snowboarding the Swiss Alps. Posted on Oct 21, 2008 Im planning a trip for next winter.  I'll be studying in Huemoz (near Villars) and need any advice I can get on keeping the cost of lodging down.  Which area has the cheapest chalet/ cabin rentals? How can I make this dream a reality?  I'll be there with a friend who can help split rental costs, but we need to know how much it might cost us (not a luxury condo or anything, just the bare minimum: bed+stove) thanks
