Well, 300$ later, my car is back and in working condition. Although most of hte work was covered, brakes needed to be done and I figured they should do it now as they were paying for the rental car :)

 

This week has been so busy, haven'T said much about the wedding, but it was fantastic... good fun, good food, great booze! 

 

 

Snowbaording has been fun.. did a lesson last night with a group of 10 people, 3 being exchange students from France, so did the entire lesson in french.. it was fun.. until one of the guys freaked out, grabbed me, took me down onto the ice, then fell on me. My back hurts a ton right now... then today, i twisted my ankle. I left the hill early cause I have the entire weekend there too, so i needed so get better time.

 

Anyway, must do laundry, and groceries, and catch up on some sleep.. hope everyone has a great weekend :)

 

Today, my car died.

 

It died while I was doing 110 on the 401.  I managed to coast off the exit and into a hotel parking lot.

 

I had to get my car towed from Mississauga to the dealership in London... lucky it was within the 200km for free CAA towing. barely.

 

Now I have no way to get to school tomorrow, and had to cancel all my tutoring for a couple days.

 

What a friggen nightmare.

 

I hope this is covered under my waranty.

This past week was much better than the previous... worked 3 days with my SK class, did an afternoon of supply teaching that involved ice skating(woohoo!) and then tutoring and boarding at nights. 

 

Yesterday I spent 6  hours instructing on the boler bump.. fun times... Happy that the sun is finally out... sad there isn't any new 'real' snow...  Plus my boss came up to me and told me how great I was! he said i've had the most requests for second lessons out of all the 'new' instructors at the hill! yippee!

 

This week should be super busy again... on top of the teaching tutoring and instructing, Monday is the london showing of the Banff mountain film festival travelling tour, and this weekend i'm off to Toronto for my cousin's wedding... and I finally found a dress!
