About Me

I am an adrenalin junkie !

Been there: Big Sky, Jackson Hole, Loveland, Winter Park, Keystone, Arapahoe basin, Breckenridge, Vail, Steamboat Springs, Snowbird, Brighton, The Canyons, Powder Mountain, Solitude, Sugar Mountain, Ski Beech, Ober Gatlinburg, Hawksnest, Snow Trails, and Bristol Mountain

Hard to beat fresh powder and Bavarian beer!

Words of Wisdom

South Eastern U.S. snowboarding is about riding hardpack with friends. It's about bare spots on the hill and lame ass kickers in the park. It's about tree runs so tight that a tiny mistake spells diaster. It's about cramming people in the ride and driving for hours.
We don't have the best snow or the steepest mountains. We don't have endless terrain or superpipes...or super parks. Hell, we don't really have a "SUPER" anything, but it's not about having the best snow or parks (is it?). We're stoked because we get a chance to spend some time on the hill with friends.

4 ways to access good tree runs and powder.

1. Take a snowcat for 8 bucks to lightning ridge, or hike it yourself if your a warrior.

2. Take Hidden Lake to the top, and if its open, you can ski down the backside for a nice backcountry feel to the access road. At the bottom, you can take a shuttle bus back up to the resort.

3. Head to the Sunrise tow rope, accessible from a mellow run at the top of Hidden Lake Express lift. There you can find decent pow and tree lined areas.

4. Take paradise lift and head for the trees. Cliffs and steeper terrain can be found up there.

Oh, and leave the matching designer clothing at home, along with any attitude. This place is a locals fave and the atmosphere is very friendly.
