Guys,
Im interested in purchasing the Ride Crew, but have no way of trying them on first since there are no dealers around me. So, how stiff are they? I am looking for something medium stiffness wise. Do they run big and wide?

Hi,
I am interested in the Smith I/Os, but how big are they? Are they as big or bigger than prodigy? Or are they about the same size as the Phenom or Oakley Crowbars?

anyone have experience with this board? a local shop is offering me a pretty good deal on the 08/09 board, and i was wondering if i could use it as a softer all mountain freestyle board?

Looking for help on a first board.

Guys,
I have done a lil research and with this being my 3rd time going snowboarding I would like to make my first board purchase. I would still classified myself as a beginner as I am still trying to link my turns. From various posts, it seems that I should go for a softer board as they are easier to learn on. I have looked at the Omatic Boron and Rome Solution as an all mountain board. Should I go with something softer? Any other recommendations? I am basically looking for a board to learn on and go up and down the mountains, nothing fancy like jumps or rails at this point. I am 5'8 and 135 lbs.
