Another Season of Mountain Madness Mondays is about to start. And to kick it off we are hosting a very special edition of Mountain Madness on Thursday Nov. 6th.
Alterna Films will be holding the Vancouver Premiere of "Knock Out", their tenth  snowboarding feature at the Royal in HD. Tickets are available at Second Wave board shop in North Vancouver. I suggest you drop what you are doing right now and run down to secure yourself a spot. The best thing about this premiere is you don't have to find a DD to get you to the after party. Just mosey up to the bar and order another round. DJ Loco will be throwing down your favorite party anthems till 2am. Tons of prizes, product tosses and more.

The only snowboard contest in a bar is back!

The Frank & Bean's Indoor Snowboard Jam.
16 riders going head to head in a battle to be The champion.
We also present a screening of the new surf film from Rip Curl "SOMEWHERE"

Entry fee: $20
There are 16 rider spots.
12 for males and 4 for females.
Spots are giving on a first come first serve basis.

Kokanee is hosting the Freeride Party Series at bars and clubs through prime ski & boarding season. Hosted by the Glacier Girls, Kokanee lovers will have the chance to step into a snowboardcross starter hut to compete on Nintendo Wii’s SSX Blur video game for a chance to win passes on the Kokanee Freeride bus heading up to one of four local mountains.

The time you've all been waiting for is here. The party spot for Vancouver's Snow Industry is back. We couldn't wait for the hills to open before inviting all our friends back early to start celebrating the season of shredding to come.  Right now we've got free cover b4 10pm for everyone. Of course all industry peeps pay no cover all night with proof of employment.

Is it just me or does it seem a little cooler out these days?  I know I'm strechin but hey, can you blame me? This time of year is known for kids going back to school and the summer slowly slippin away. If you're a shred it's more of a beginning than the end. September means all the new shred flicks come out, the mags are back in circulation hyping the new gear and trends, i get another year older, and winter is that much closer.

It's at this time that i would like to announce that for another season MOUNTAIN MADNESS MONDAYS are back at the Royal Bar. The only true snow industry night run for and by the people who work in the industry. Last year there were challengers but like a champ Mountain Madness Mondays, knocked them all out. So it is here on snowboard.com that I now let you all in on a little secret.

MOUNTAIN MADNESS MONDAYS returns OCT 15th.
THE GRAND OPENING PARTY will be NOV 19th.

We are still looking for new videos and films for premieres and showings for the season.

We are also looking for companies to add to our great list of sponsors.

So I finally got the photo from the event by stealing them off Benny's Facebook page. The video is still under construction due to the fact that the canucks take up most of my time right now between drinking during the games and being hung over the next day.

- The TPBz are on summer vaction but there is still the backyard bash so stay tuned. You can find us chilling at Wreck beach getting wrecked and skimming till the sea cows go home.

Due to unforseen events, the Backyard Bash 2 has been postponed. It will not be happening on April 21st like orginally planned. It will Happen at a later date.
