My Blog: rambling..getting attatched

MY FAULT. is there a reason i get attached to things that aren't stable. things that won't be here soon. things that are no doubt right for the moment but will be gone before i know it. is it because, hm, Kylee can't take commitment? i know i wont have to worry after a few months, so why not have fun now? could it be that i can't have a steady relationship? i can't just be someone's? why let someone control me more than myself? Cuz im scared..that's what it is..i push them away so they wont hurt me... what the f*ck am i so scared of. God knows i can't be by myself. i want everything to work out.Like can i not meet someone who is willing to take the time to try and understand me and know im probably not what u think? umm nope people love to use their jump to conclusions mat and be rediccu;us and typical..

I am drawn to unique individuals with charisma and subtle confidence. I come from a great family who has supported me in every decision I have made in life even if they haven't agreed. They have taught me about tolerance and patience and unselfishness. I seek the same in people I meet. I am happy that I have been fortunate enough to meet wonderful people who keep me grounded. One of my favorite things to do is people watch and I learn from everyone I meet; everyone I come across, I take the best part of them with me and make it into my own. I thrive on peace and harmony and will often avoid conflict to maintain such, but I have no problem standing up for myself or my loved ones when necessary. Just don't f*ck with me or my friends or get a stiletto to the neck.

I go out of my way for people I love and love making them feel special with tiny details. Details make all the difference in the world. For those that are special enough to have gotten "in," don't ever take that for granted. I expect the energy I give to be returned. I'm a loyal friend, but if you f*ck with me. . . f*ck you. To those of you who are flakes: this is the biggest way to get cut off (and also one of my biggest pet peeves). I can't stand people who just accept what life gives them and never have the balls to get off their asses and handle their business.

Most people like me, a handful of people hate me. I try to make everyone happy and if it doesn't work out, I really don't care. I don't dislike anyone until they give me reason to. Once I let you in, I'll trust you completely until you screw me over. "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees. I have no problem walking away from a friendship if it's an unhealthy one because there are so many better people to befriend right around the corner. People have to earn my respect. Respect is big to me. And I promise you will here that from me again or it will be proven to you. I think everyone is beautiful, even the people who hate me. They'll become ugly once they reach their limit of ignorance. My life is so f*cking crazy baby!!!!You can join me in the adventure or you can go kick rocks. Cheers to all my friends and cheers to the ones I have yet to meet! Strippers, hustlers, pimps, and players. . .

September what a month. First things first thanks to everybody who came out and partied it up with me on my Bday. It was the best birthday I almost don't remember. I love the Ceciel! Strippers and booze arealways good. Things started getting fuzzy during the 30 minute private dance. Then all I remember is heading down to shine an spending about 5 minutes in the club. Then I woke up the next day to find out it had snowed in Whistler. sweet!

so this weekend i'll be going to ottawa...

no real reason.. just to see a few people... have some drinks... skate on the canal... go to the strippers.

funny thing is work. i was scheduled to work on saturday. i basically just let them know right now that i won't be here... and that i'm taking a car off the lot. they just said, 'yep, sure'. wow.

i think the flexability of my job is what makes it bearable. i work a lot of hours, but in a situation like this.. or telus in april, all i have to do is say, "hey guys, i'm going to go away", and they just say, "when?" and thats that. i guess thats a benefit of commission sales. since they don't have to pay me when i'm not here, what do they care?

now the real question for this weekend. what car to steal for the trip? i have to find a happy medium between room, gas milage and coolness factor. (hey now.. want to impress those strippers.) hmmmm.... i'm thinking a chrysler 300.... plus its got an easy to clean back seat...

my friends always spill stuff back there.... what? i don't do that in the car... jeez... what do you think the champagne room is for?

so i'm at that stage of my life... time to get my own place.

i've lived away for school.. and done my travelling, but never really my own place. always a roomate or something. i'm what i think they have come to call a 'boomerang' generation kid. go away for school and all that, then make my way back home and live wth my parents to save up cash. only problem is that it never seems like i've saved enough. but i've got to the point i just need to get out. i'm going through my quarter-life crisis here and i still pretty much live with my parents! wrong... just wrong.

so now the questions arising are should i buy a house? a condo?.. maybe a townhouse? how many bedrooms? if i meet a girl that is willing to live with me, will i have to move? should i get it close to work?.. the bars?... the strippers? its tricky. the place i've put an offer on now is a condo. its really quite nice... in a great location, price is high, but decent.... but then i've got these stupid condo fees. for the amount they are charging, i would expect the place to have a rub and tug inside plus a maid service made up of scantily clad french nymphomaniacs. instead... the condo board cleans my windows and removes snow... yippee. not quite on the same page there.

i have concluded though... i don't care. i'll live there for a couple years, hope that the market keeps going up so i can recoup some of my condo fees when i sell and live life to its fullest. (meaning have a place to stumble back to when i get shot down at the local bars within a 2 minute walk). so those of you who know that i will rarely turn down any trip, meet or drinking excursion... you will have to make due without me... for i am now a poor man. so buy me a beer.

ruminations: olympic time...

so the olympics are upon us. great.

don't get me wrong, i love the hockey... i'd marry it if it was possible, but they tell me i can't, so i'm just going to have to stick to giving it a reacharound...

every morning i like to turn on my tv and watch sports highlights as i'm getting ready for work. but now with the olympics... its not sports highlights.. its just.. sports... and i use the term loosely. i think they can't figure out what the highlights would be, so they just show the whole thing.. i'll give you a hint... the highlights are when its over. hell, i preferred it when they showed the spelling bee then some of this stuff... biathalon? hey!, lets combine a really boring sport like cross country skiing with target shooting! the least they could do is have people running around in the forest shooting back.. then i'd be glued to it.

i don't like the fact that i can't get away from it... its almost as bad as when george dubya decides to have a little chat. all of a sudden, every tv station, radio show and stripper decides to take a break. (ok, the strippers keep going). sure the tour de france is even more boring then the olympics, plus it includes the word france in the title, but at least we aren't bombarded with it.

maybe if canada were doing better i would care a bit more, but i doubt it. hell, i'm cheering for seychelles this year... how the hell did they get a team? the place is less than 500 square kms! if they beat us in some f*ckin sport i've never heard of, i'm gonna be pissed.

The gnar core crew recently sent six representive out on the road for a seven day premier tour of western canada. Headed up by Producer and skater Benny Stoddard and his trusty gray van,Freddy Fredrickson (a/v specialist), Jeff Nieckar (pen and paper and bright eyes)along with crew members David rouleau, Kieth Martin, nad Matt Beaudry. the events were as fallows-
PENTICTON-Broken light fixtures, drunk 14yr old girls, titie shots,crazy party footy, bar fights,house parties, shots of yager ( my god), slaps in the face, pissing on magazine racks in 7/11....the list goes on..oh and evry one scored..everyone F.I.T.B.'s
GOLDEN- small crowd, one trashed hotel room (100$), benny striped naked on a strippers pole and burned his hand while torching a scare crow named "russel" with fire works. No one remembers much and in the a.m. we couldn't leave town due to road closers.We piocked up the trips best suvinear a wooden pigeon named Tur-duck-in
CALGAR-- pretty quite.... we are seriously doubting that towns party skills. Lots of love from the few there though
EDMONTON- off the hook,sold out, wasted ,someone sh*t in a urnal, freddy got kiked out of the bar before the movie started, the pigs took away our booze, nun chucks (don't ask) weed and 150$ fine is pending. Rouleau T.K'd, kieth F.I.T.B'd. someone fell in love with a country girl. And i think we came close to getting stabed. big thanks to DV and the becks.
LAKE LOUISE -God help us all, sold out, off the hook, wasted till 7am, Beaudry and freddy and rouleau T.K'd. and lassed (you'll have to ask) kieth scored. rouleau got naked....lets just say that town is no joke and it had us fearing for our lives...we left early that mourning like a robber making a jail brake.
KAMLOOPS-- wasted beyond belief, we all scraped each other , beaudry got a bloody nose, someone started a fire in the parking lot of the hotel, Nieckar got kicked out,the fire trucks came, freddy hit his head, the word spit roast got used (yikes),and some how acouple rooms got busted into....once again we left in a hurry.

ITS GOOD TO BE HOME SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!!

thursday night in cgar was rather interesting. jambz the target bar of the night equaled lame people. strippers from the strip bar upstairs coming down getting it on with underage drunken chicks. shirts off, bras off...maybe you should go back upstairs.. ahem ahem. met some randoms.. haha you know who you are. and uhh just had an interesting night, it definatly did a turn around after the lame people left...eff. anyways this weekend is..or was rosslands' 108th winter carnival.
its here. or half way done. its a pretty good weekend where the town gets together and parties and just has a good time. parade that lasts like 5 mins, a martini palace..first "beer garden" in like years, bobsled races, pie eating contests, snow volleyball, pancake breakfasts... just a good ol family gathering. yaay! and parties at night of course. it nice to see the town so happy but tonight at the bar, daang do i know half these people? no. all out of towners, people from the city over. little girls who are like 16 and old men of 40. works well together. and drinking. just imagine the possibilities.... holy, people.

Ok, so the other night I go to the strippers with some friends... as you do.
well anyways as we were watching one of the girls dance naked around the pole on of my friends brought up a horrific point.
All the girls rub their naked vaginas up against that pole, that means that they are all sharing their vagina juices. Imagine if one girl had an STD, they will all have it! nasty!
so we dared our friends boyfriend to go up and lick the pole. i will give $50 to anyone who i see lick the pole at the strippers.
the other thing that baffles me about the peelers is their tan lines, obviously in the middle of winter in whistler you will go to a tanning salon right?
I mean who really wants tan lines? i know i dont!
See i dont get it, these girls have no problem dancing naked infront a pub full of strangers, yet they have a problem with taking their thong off in a tanning booth.... hello????

and just for the record i'm not hating on strippers at all, they are making a legitimate(???) living. im just merely bringing up a few points that have come to my attention

i thought nic and i would be moving into a new place today, but it turns out i was wrong, we have another week and a half before we can move in, sh*tty.
for the last 2 months nic and i have been house sitting for his cousin, who gets back from europe today, so we will still be in his place, it will be squishy!

the new place is sweet though! really close to town, my best friends house, nics brothers house and the strippers!
i am totally excited about moving in.
nic and i will FINALLY have our own space!
about frickin time!
