Forty of the world’s best skiers and snowboarders will descend on Squaw Valley USA this winter, where for the first time ever they’ll compete on a legendary section of the mountain during the Freeride World Tour Event wtfhttp://www.freerideworldtour.com> : Nissan Tram Face, anticipated to take place February 28th, 2009.

The Freeride World Tour event at Squaw Valley USA, the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, will help set a new standard for freeride competition, attracting some of the best in the sport.  The Tour promises to be demanding for participants and exciting for spectators when for the first time the legendary Tram Face, closed since Squaw Valley opened in 1949, will be open for the pro event.

”The Tram Face at Squaw Valley is legendary terrain that many have dreamed to ride but few have dared to,” said longtime Squaw Valley USA skier Cody Townsend, ranked 5th in the 2008 World Freeride Tour.  ”Having the first ever competition on Tram Face is like the first time Monaco was raced in Formula 1, Teahupoo was surfed and the Masters was played at Augusta. Opening up the off-limits terrain for the competition is a dream come true for anyone that’s driven into Squaw Valley and seen the amazing Face that dominates the mountain.”

Participants arrive at Squaw on February 26, opening ceremonies take place on Friday, February 27 and competition is scheduled for Saturday, February 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed to an alternate date between February 29 and March 5. Spectators can enjoy the festive atmosphere with live music and ongoing events at The Village at Squaw Valley plus another village at Squaw Valley’s High Camp.

Riders participating in the Squaw event, which is the second leg of the Freeride World Tour, will arrive in California after showing their stuff in Sochi, Russia. After Squaw, the riders will travel to Tignes, France and Verbier, Switzerland. After this final event, the four Freeride World Champions (ski/snowboard/men/women) will be crowned.

They don't teach life in school.  They just don't.  You can't really teach life, it just sorta comes to you and you figure out the rights and wrongs on your own and hopefully make the right decisions when you can and if you don't, hopefully you learn from hem.  Sure hey can teach us the basics of life, its good to be kind, and responsible, and show up on time and blah blah blah...  But I mean, if they can't, physically can't, teach us the things that actually matter in this world.  I just got a d on my physics test, probably the third or fourth one of the year, and it really doesn't bother me.  Which is odd, but it doesn't.  It's not going to matter twelve years down the road if I can figure out the centripetal force enacted upon the water drops in my dyer.  Things that matter are more close to the fact that I currently want to stab someone I once respected and can't figure out how to communicate a very brief point without losing respect.  So, why if school is so important, can none of this be taught?  I'd think life is a bit more important than finding the measure of central tendencies in a normal distribution, wouldn't you agree?

....FOR FREEDOM!!!

“In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act. –George Orwell

The year is 1913, Woodrow Wilson is president, and powerful banking interests, who have been trying for year, finally achieved their long term goal, of silently taking control of the American government.

The first thing the did to accomplish their take over was convince secretary of state, Flan Denox, to lie to the American people, and tell them that the 16th amendment [Income Tax Amendment] had been legally ratified by the states when it was not. The bankers knew that this tax would ultimately end up in their pockets.

Because of this fraud the American people were led to believe there was a tax on their labor. Congress and the President ARE completely aware of this fraud and it was cited in a recent court case:

“If you… examined [the 16th amendment] carefully, you would find that a sufficient number of states ratified that amendment.” -U.S. District Court Judge, James C. Fox, 2003

That very same year [1913] the bankers committed their second, and by far most diabolical fraud ever perpetrated on the American people, by bribing senators to pass the Federal Reserve Act, without the required Constitutional amendment. They did this during Christmas vacation, when many senators where home celebrating Christmas with their families.

And that is how the unconstitutional Federal Reserve Act came into being. They were very clever, and understood that who ever issued the money for America controlled the government.

“Give me control of a nations money supply, and I care not who makes its laws.” -Mayer Rothschild, Private Banker

President Wilson, who signed the Federal Reserve Act later said in regret:

“I’m a most unhappy man; I have unwittingly ruined my country a great industrial nation is now controlled by a system of credit. We are no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinions and duress of a small group of dominant men.” -Woodrow Wilson, 1919

How did America transform from being a truly free country with a servant government where our individual rights are protected by our Constitution, to being a country that talked about being free but really wasn’t?

The change started when the Federal Reserve came into existence, and America adopted one of the major planks of the Communist Manifesto by creating for America this central bank.

The very same people that back the Federal Reserve System also back the graduated income tax, a second plank from the Communist Manifesto.

And now our Congress so dominated by the banks, is helping them entrap people even further by passing new Bankruptcy Laws making it more difficult for the people to declare bankruptcy and get a fresh start.

“Who controls money controls the world.” -Henry Kissinger, Council of Foreign Relations

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

*President Bush has signed executive orders give him sole authority to impose martial law and suspending Habeas Corpus. This gives him dictatorial power over the people without any checks or balances.

*The government can jail you for life without charges, without trial, and without a lawyer.

*Because of globalization the U.S. must accept other nations’ laws. Under the CAFTA treaty the sale of vitamins and supplements will be illegal.

*Executive Order# 10999: Allows the government to take over all modes of transportation.

*Executive Order# 11000: Allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.

* Executive Order# 11921: Provides that the president can declare a state of emergency that is not defined and Congress cannot review the action for six months.

*Senate Bill# 1873: Allows the government to vaccinate you with untested vaccines against your will.

*The FDA says: Americans do not have a right to know which foods are genetically modified.

*Congressman Sensenbrenner’s Bill (HR1528): Requires you to spy on you neighbors including wearing a wire. Refusal would be punishable by a mandatory prison sentence of at least two years.

*The government claims the power to seize all financial interments: gold, silver, and everything else if they deem an emergence exists. –treasury department letter, Aug. 12, 2005

*There are 190 countries in the world; American has bases in 130 them.

The Patriot Act permits:

*Secret FBI and police searches of your home and office.

*Secret government wiretaps on you phone, computer and/or internet activity.

*Secret investigations of your bank record, credit cards and other financial records.

*Secret investigations of your library and book activities.

*Secret examinations of your metical, travel and business records.

*The freezing of funds and assets without prior notice or appeal.

*The creation of secret watch lists that ban those named from air and other travel.

“The Constitution is just a goddamn piece of paper.” -George W. Bush, Nov. 2005, Capitol Hill Blue

During the 1990’s President Clinton monitored millions of private phone calls placed by U.S. citizens. He did this under a secret program code named: Echelon. The wide spread use of wire tapping Americans during the Clinton administration proves that this practice was not started because of 9/11 but is standard procedure.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The new legislation for the national ID card is in and takes three to for pages to describe. It will be connected to our driver’s licenses and Social security numbers. A physical ID such as finger prints or retinal print will be on it.

This law known as the Real ID Act takes effect in May 2008. Anyone with out a card will not be permitted to board an air plain, Amtrak train, open a bank account, or enter a federal building.

The bill mandates that all drivers’ licenses contain “common readable technology. A radio frequency identification (RFID) chip will be used.

“It is time to wake up America. Those ID cards are NOT about defeating terrorism, they are all about controlling the American people.” -Aaron Russo

The latest technology for identifying people when they make purchases is the implantable chip that can be directly imbedded into human flesh. Its tiny glass capsule is about the size if a grain if rice. It contains an RFID computer chip with a coiled antenna.

Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and others have expressed great interest in being able to more closely monitor the American people. And one way to do that would be to determine who buys what and where they take these things.

Radio frequency can travel through walls, wood, the things we normally rely on to protect our privacy. For example your backpack, your pocket, anything you’re wearing or carrying.

They were talking about having reader devices in every airport, on every bus, every train, on every port and every dock.

One of the most worrisome applications of RFID is proposals to put in cash. Meaning that you’d be able to track every bank note, where it has been, who it has been issued to, and create an essence an audit trail that would essentially take away the anonymity of cash, that we enjoy today.

The ATM machine itself, as the money came through the roller device, would be reading each number. And it would know who you are; of course you identify yourself at banks or ATMs. And the ATM would tag the number, and transfer the possession name from, say Bank of America to Joe Jones.

Once every thing you do is tied down to a single number, and there is no longer the option to pay with cash, then all it takes to render you a non citizen is to simply turn you chip off. Then you won’t be able to participate in ant function in society, including buy food.

Through the implementation of the Federal Reserve System, the American citizen has gone from being a private individual who had real money, and gold in possession that was private, to a citizen who has no privacy because all money is now being digitized. They can deduct however amount of money they want out of your digits when ever they want, and they can trace you when ever they want. You’ll be at there mercy. God forbid we allow this to happen in America

“This is outrageous! I mean your talking about the government looking over your shoulder at absolutely everything you do, every purchase you make, every place you go, every company you interact with, would be recorded back to potentially the government.” -Katherine Albrecht, author of “Spy Chips”

Have we become so controlled and ignorant about our rights, that big institution and big governments can do whatever they want with us even with out our approval?

I know for certain that our founding fathers would resist to the death what is happening in America today. And I for one will not accept a national ID card. And if nobody accepts a national ID card, and nobody can board a plain without one, then let the airlines go bankrupt. And if you can’t open an account in a big national bank, then open one in a small local bank. And if we can’t walk into a federal building, I’d personally consider that a blessing.

Don’t allow these institutions to dictate to us how we conduct our lives. This is America, and we have free choice! We the people have the power not the government. The government gets its power from us, not the other way around.

Think of all the men and women that died in all our wars fighting for freedom, not Federal Reserve bankers. Do you think they sacrificed their lives so America could get chipped like a dog, so we can all have homing devices inside us? NO! This ID card is the last step before they implant us, and that is precisely the reason no one should accept one.

And you know what they’re going to do? They’re going to call in the propaganda machine, the media, and try to sell this RFID chip as if it was in everybody’s best interest.

“We shall have a world government whether or not we like it. The only question is whether the world government will be achieved by conquest or consent.” -Paul Warburg, architect of the Federal Reserve System, 1950

The central bankers of the world are working together to create a one world government. A global police sinister was the only thing George Orwell ever wrote about. Where every person on the planet Earth will have an RFID chip implant, where the bankers and the governments have access to every transaction you make.

A chip in every in everybody would be the universal monitory system, because there would be no escape from it.

Most people don’t have a clue that these unelected private bankers, actually control the governments of the world. They have actually financed and profited from ever war since World War I, without concern for humanity. The war in Iraq is an attempt by the Federal Reserve and their partner the Bank of England to control the middle east, and make it part of the new world order.

“Military men are just dumb stupid animals, to be used as pawn in foreign policies.” -Henry Kissinger

The war on terrorism is the war on your freedom.

“The bankers own take it away from them but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough money to buy it back again. However, take away the power to create money, and all great fortunes like mine will disappear and ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in.

But if you wish to remain slaves of the bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money.” - Sir Josiah Stamp, former director of the Bank of England

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine, and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years.

It would have been impossible for us to develop our plans for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But now the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march toward a world government. The supra national sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto determination, practiced in past centuries.”

-David Rockefeller, private banker, council on foreign relations, June 1991

“The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes.” -Felix Frankfuter, U.S. Supreme Court Justice

“It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.” -Henry Ford

Now that you do understand what happened in 1913, and how it is leading to world government, the future depends on you. Will you choose freedom or slavery? Stop living in fear of your government. Government is the servant. We are the masters.

So what are you going to do about it? Join together in civil disobedience. Be willing to take part in nationwide strikes, boycotts, and marches on Washington. Force Congress to use their power to shut down the Federal Reserve. Government has authority to issue money, without paying interest to the bankers. This will take away the power to control our government from the bankers. Only vote for candidates who have signed an affidavit to shut down the Federal Reserve System and stop world government.

If you are in the military or law enforcement, remember you swore an oath to defend the American Constitution. You didn’t swear an oath to promote world government. Honor your Oath.

DONOT accept the national ID card, even if it’s your drivers’ license. We must demand that the American peoples gold be audited, and make certain that it has not been stolen. This asset must be returned to the American people.

Abolish computer voting in the state where you live. Stop being a good Democrat, stop being a good Republican, start being good Americans.

And when the media starts telling you that the country will fall apart if this is done, don’t be fooled. This is just the Federal Reserve trying to save itself. Squash it!

“I like the old idea, where you could do what you thought you could do and what you wanted to do as long as you didn’t hurt anyone.”

 -Ron Paul

If you believe in civil disobedience and wish to organize with millions of Americans in this battle for liberty, please sign up at freedomtofascism.com, and if you choose not to help, report to Central Services immediately and we will have you fitted for an RFID chip… for you own safety, of course.

”We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.”
-Benjamin Franklin, at the signing of the Declaration of
Independence, July 4, 1776

Uninted we stand, Divided we fall.

02 / Nippon Open 02

Konishi entered the Rail Jam but couldn’t win the prize money of $3000.He rode awesome and his riding was damn good as the spectators were goingoff! Every year after the Rail Jam there are fireworks set off. This year, it wasgreat as usual! A photo of the fireworks.

- from Natasza -I have seen so many people I've met before here in Alts Bandai...I saw Michiyo, Rieppe, Miki, someone else...I can't remember her name. I had a great time at the Nippon Open! The kicker was so poppy that you had to go into it with a lot of speed and then after that came a huge hip. There weren't any rails which isn't typical of a slopestyle event. But here in Japan it's called park style cause someone bought the rights to 'slopestyle' so they can't use it. I didn't make it past semi finals. I landed my run but I missed the grab on my frontside 540. This is how competing is...one simple grab or not can mean the difference between advancing to the next round or being eliminated. I'm not bummed to miss the podium but a little bummed because now I can't hit those jumps anymore. I met with Keiji and we're going to the moon shoot together and afterwards he said he would help me get to Narita airport. This is a photo of last nights karaoke session...20 sweaty people all screaming into the mic in a karaoke sauna!

01 / Nippon Open 01

Half pipe semifinal was held yesterday.Taka entered the semifinals in the rain but unfortunately he couldn’t go tothe finals. But he did hit the jump twice as high as anyone else and did some sickspins!

2007/02/22 NIPPON OPEN

Nippon Open Begins!

______________________________________________________________________________

Hello, this is Konishi.I came to the Nippon Open. There were qualifiers and semi finals for thePark Contest today. I didn't do well:( Despite the snow shortage, thejump and hip were a nice size;) But unfortunately I fell on all thelandings:( It’s not uncommon that I fell, but all the other Heart Films members alsowashed out! Now that's uncommon! But on Saturday’s rail jam, you’ll see!

On my way back, the sunset was nice and I took this picture. The color wasbeautiful!

Nippon Open

Hey this is Shota!Today is the public practice session for the park for the Nippon Open.I went to the small park because the other main practice area was socrowded. I hit a small kicker and almost died but thank god for the slushysnow! I’m going to do a Triple-back flip tomorrow--! (Just Kidding!)Come and see me! ___________________________________________________________________________

This is Tadashi!I came here to Alts Fukushima from Hokkaido for the Nippon Open.I’m going to enter the Park contest. What will happen tomorrow??I’ll just do my best! But actually the Heart park session is what I am really looking forward too(Oops, maybe I shouldn’t say that...) (^^;) Meantime, Hokkaido is a very nice place! So much snow!I love snowboarding after all! It’s the shi*t!Going to drink some beer. Bye now!

The weather wasn’t good. The sun come out once in a while. We had to wait around for the sun to get good footage.

We had a hard time waiting for the sun and it tampered with the rider'sconcentration.

They could only hit the jump a few times in the daylight. The riders killed the jump despite their difficult situation. (^^)

ファーストジャンプでBs180を決める忠 / Tadashi did a backside 180 on the first jump.

Today, the waiting time was very long and tiring. It was a tough filming day…

FridayHaving Lunch at KAMAKURA (snow cave) Hello!Tadashi, Jun, Numaku (photographer) and Keiji went to Tokachidake from themorning. (^^)It was windy and bad weather, but in the trees there was no wind at alland very nice.We shot sprays of powder, mushroom lines, and whatever we could shoot inthose conditions.

It was snowing so we made a snow cave to have lunch.

The snow cave was lower than we thought that we had to bend our neckforward while we ate. :)

Takumi and Taro-san were shooting around Sapporo.Tomorrow will be sunny! We will all get together and do our best!

2007.02.15

Thursday Stormy…??

According to the forecast, today’s weather is supposed to be stormy, butit’s calm.Until yesterday the temperature had been minus 17 or something but it’splus today. It’s a bit like spring in the town. The weather forecast can’t be right… Today, we went to look for some good points. BUUUUUUUT… Went to the point which we had marked out, but actually it’s not that good.At other spots, snow was no good either. We can’t find good spots easily… We drove the car here and there but couldn’t find any spots and no shootingtoday. Too bad. Maybe tomorrow.

Tadashi was thinking that he would do something.

We happen to find the iced water fall. That was really something.

2007/02/14

Run and run.

It’s cold! Another cold day today. :)

We left Asahikawa to look for good areas by car.First, we went up north toward Nayoro.

We shot an artificial log along the way, but mostly we continued on.We saw an iced waterfall. (That was my first time seeing a frozenwaterfall.)We drove nearly 400Km today.

It seems to be bad weather starting tomorrow.Hope to have snow to make everything new!

2007/02/13

2007/02/09

in hokkaido

Africa’s Congo is the world's second largest rainforest, and it is under threat. Tens of millions of people depend on the Congo for their survival, and as a major biodiversity hotspot, it’s home to some of Africa's most amazing wildlife, like gorillas, bonobos and forest elephants. Like all large intact forests, the Congo is a critical defense against man-made climate change.

Take Action!

International logging companies are creating social and environmental destruction in the Congo. Taxes paid by companies for rights to log the forest are supposed to go to forest communities for essential services like education and healthcare. But over the last three years, not a cent paid by logging companies has reached local communities.

In exchange for timber worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, the companies are giving “gifts” like bags of salt and crates of beer worth less than $100. Poorly paid officials sometimes have only a bicycle to help them patrol vast areas of rainforest, making enforcement of conservation law basically impossible.

Help Save The Congo!

Despite a moratorium on new logging being in place since 2002, over 37 million acres of rainforest (an area the size of Illinois) have been granted to the logging industry, most of this in areas vital for protecting biodiversity. But it's not too late to prevent the destruction of this rainforest and the communities it supports. Please help: make your voice heard!

Peace!
ERIK

haha craziness goin down at the hotel. things getting flipped upside down, then rightside up and back over to some orientation i didn't know existed. weird how things can change so fast. makes you really think about life in a whole new light...even if you've thought about it like that before. it still hits you every now and then.
life is flying by and is not slowing down for you or anybody.
plus i got free pizza.
randomness.
keeps life interesting even when you think it's hit monotony's most monotonous moment.
say that 10 times fast.
i dare you.

Hey this is brock right now my life sucks. The wrong turns i made in life turn my back on my friends leaving people who i care about behind that should really care about. The wrong turns i went through in my life is getting in fights with some of my friends and cant go outside because of afraid of getting jumped or people will say stuff that will hurt my feelings. And my life is falling to peaces because of my heart problems no girls want me because i dont get out side that much but i met this girl online she said when shes done school that we move together. Be each other when me or her is hurt or have something together. I will treat her with respect and not say things will hurt her because i dont wanna be like that. I waas like that to my friends in my life. Some people say whats life for we live then die. Thats when i come in and tell life not for living and dying you get to have kids and watch them grow and grow. You get to see how beautful they look when they are small when you wrap your arms around them and you touch their skin and its smooth and u dont wanna never let go of her or him. They'll be there for you no matters what happens. When you need to cry they'll be there. If you need help when you are help They'll all be there. I know im not a adult right now im only 16teen but soon 17teen im figure out how my life will go step by step filling in the peaces well i go along in time. Having thoughts of what i wanna do in my years as i grow. Write down my problems think of what job i want, laughing and playing with the friends i have now barely worrying about anybody jump me. If anyone wants to to my love from me you cant but only share it with me. So i'll show you how my life is going right now. Im just waiting for that one girl to be with me. Do things with our kids just watching to see if they grow up like us. See how well they did better than us in school and see what they'll pick for their path in life. Then after their done high school you dont want them to leave i know we cry to see them go but they are finding their family to make. Then we'll see their kids grow and our kids grow up to be happy just like us. When you love someone you'll do the crazy thing that you cant explain. You'll tell the truth and all the happy feelings that you could never tell anyone. Then one day you'll see your girl has somethings in life that she really needs to tell you and you'll be there for anything even if you have to miss something in important thats sacrifice. You will see how much you love them and never want to let them go. you'll want them allways in your arms forever reasons. But i have been through some of this when there was times my friends were saying that they didn't want to be my buddy because some reasons i wasn't there for them. When i first moved to Kingston Ontario i thought i had losted all my friends but like a month or two in i might some of the best friends i every had. And some went in there own path but the true friends stick together but thats what i think i dont know about you. I'm that kind of guy thats healthy and like to have fun, hanging with friends and meeting knew people.

Page 2
Today i am going talk about pain the things in go through in life. Like today i got rushed in amulbance because i had troubles breathing. It's just because i have heart problems that we're trying to fix. They say it because of stress. Just thinking about about things will make me worry and i have so much things on my mind that im trying to get rid of. And now im going to start talking about pain. There are things in life that you you want to say but it wont come out and you dont wanna say it because you think they'll laugh or make fun of you. But just forget them and tell it from the heart. If people laugh its just because they are having problems and they cant say what they wanted to say but you beat them and now their laughing at you. All u have to say that you can tell it and not hide it from others. So when someone laughs at you know that they are just hiding their thoughts. Now what about your mom or dad is in the hospital and you want to be there for them every step but you cant you get kicked out. Jus t dont give up that easy you wait and wait to see if their ok. While you watch them go through the pain their in buy something for them like flowers everyone likes them. Just wait outside of the room if you cant go in you will be with them even if they think your not. Now when one of your family members died and let go of their sprits dont forget they'll be in your dreams and thoughts. Dont go drinking that one drink that you take you'll just want more and more until one day you lose your life in that one drink you took at the beggining. Then you will look back and see it again and again you want more but they are trying to get to you and say dont go through what i had done or the path they took to get we're they are this day and forever. Now just imagine you going down that path they took and you dont care about anyone one know more. Now just think about all the people you are hurting in your life your family your friends that helped you when you didn't have nobody there just think and now think about the drinks and now hows it is messing up your life just think and think of what they would say to you in those last words before they go and their gone. Here you are crying how you drinked some of the peaces that you wanted to keep in your heart. Now you are feeling bad you know what you can listening to of what they of said and turn your life around like your free. You have rights don't forget that you can do anything but don't drink since you know what that feeling feels like. I want this to get out there and let people know before they drink before it erases those memorys. You can write me anytime you feel like so don't feel bad what you have to tell there's no worry's i wont talk no one i promise. I just want to be that one guy who helps you out. Just tell me how your life is going or if you just want to skip the begining and tell me whats wrong thats ok and its fine by me. So just write me anytime ok see ya later.

Page 3
Am going to talk about love. First thing love is something that two people feel about each toher its like butterflys in both of your stomach. People will never love you if our trying to be someone else you have to be you for always. So why do people say they dont love you maybe they dont feel the love from you. Just ask them if they feel it. You dont have to be shy just tell him or her they'll understand. You have to believe me on that i have been through all that in my life so far. I didn't tell one of my best friends and she didn't think i was telling the truth and i wans't but now i can never lie to a girl now but show them the shape of my heart. They'll have to feel it from their soul. Once they do if they believe you then you'll know that the girl is waiting for you to see if you will stay with her. I been with girls through my life for like 3 years and 2 years trying to see if they just want to be together forever. But some of them cheated on me or dumped me im not shy for telling you all of this. Im trying to help people get together so they'll when it happens to them. I want them just to feel what is to be love and be caring each other be there for each other no matter what happens. If their hurt bad stay there dont go just incase they past you want to hear that couple last words they say before they are off into the air. You'll be lonely but they'll always be there with you. In your thoughs and your feelings. You wish you could have anthor girl just like her you can have anyone if you get out there and try your best for her. If you know its the girl you want to love geet her flowers any girl will like that. THen ask her if she wants to grab something to eat. Then work from there until that one day you get her you'll be happy and your feeling those butterflys in your stomach and you know its the right one. Then you can have kids if you want and your ready. I love the girls that want to be with me and share thoughts and feelings because i know i will find that girl thats just hanging on until i find her. Thats when i care for her and how good she looks everyday. When her hair smells like through the wind thats when you want grab her and will you marrie me and she will most likely say yes. Both of you will a happy ending together and dont for get that moment when you got down on your knees and you had that feeling in your head i'll be with you no matters what happens to both of you. Will see you guys and girls.

Page 4
Have anyone of you everythink you didn't belong in a group where you just didn't want to work with the people around you. Just give it a try and you will maybe make more friends that will care for you be there most of those path you make. Some people make fun of your music but your music is helping you get through things in life that people cant help you with. But you'll that day or night when you need someone with you because your afraid that you'll not make it through the night without that person or friends. Friends are there for anything you need even when you have tears in your eyes when those tears just about to drop someone you love will come and wipe them off your face you'll not have to cry anymore you need to tell them whats wrong or whats going on thats making you cry. I been through that before when my girlfriend cry I ask her what was wrong and she told me because she loved me and i didn't want her to hurt in anyway it just makes me sad. I know when a girl cry they want to share something with you but they are afraid to tell you because they might think you will take the wrong question the wrong way. So when your girl is hurt just not joking saying that you promise. Say it from your heart i know you dont want to but if you dont make that choice your going to hurt and it will stay with you forever. First you have to sit them down and im not trying to be mean but tell them you love them and they have to trust you even when she is hurt you have to tell her to tell you because its not going to go away if you just sit there and do nothing. Ask her whats wrong,is there anything i can do for you,is it me or did i do something i hurt about your feelings. Just give her a chance to talk to who every she wans't if she doesn't tell you. I know everything about this because i been through this to just take steps after steps. I hope this helps you in your life. Thanks for listening to me if you do have any questions hit my site and i'll answer to all ok thanks again.

Woodrow Wilson, Former President of the United States, in a Presidential Address in 1913 said:  "They have rights, who are willing to fight for them."  If you are unwilling to defend your Country and your rights then it is my belief that you deserve neither.  Those unwilling to shed their blood in defense of this nation shall be the cause of its downfall.

I'm 19! and in Canada that means that I am now an adult  with all the legal rights. Now that I am, what should I do starting today? Well I can now buy alcohol (Legally ahaha). Well my good friends are throwing me a party, oh lord like I dont party enough already. I can only expect this one to be insane cause since I'm the birthday boy they will get me thrashed! Heh well what are friends for if they dont get you insanely drunk every now and then haha.

Well I dont feel much older, bolder, wiser and whatever I'm suppose to attain as an adult. I guess that comes in time, but I felt much more older and different when I turned 16. I dont know, about other people when they became a full fledge adult, how they felt about it and after. For me, Its just another day and the life of Jeremy. A sad pathetic one indeed... ahahah im messing with you guys, I love you all that read this, cause really I dont think i have anything important to say, but if you do then thats awsome and I love you for that.

My Blog: Just typing
By: iskatetoo

had about a week with no riding.

the weather has changed for the worst. we started out with mad snow and it looked like we were going to have great season but, mother nature seems to have abandoned us. we haven't gotten any new snow to speak of in about a month and the spring came in mid January. we thought we were getting that one week of nice sunshine and warm temps, then it turned to a month and a half of it. it seems that we a re cutting into that 110 inch base that we had and it is only February. at this rate i don't know how we are going to make it to July, (oh poor us we may only have to ride till June). it seems the comp season that should be in full swing is almost stagnant, no one wants to ride slushy pipe with crumbling walls or 60 footers with sloppy lips and rutted landings.

good news! i am moving to Peru for a few weeks then to Argentina in the summer (it's great to have a wife from south America) so i get to ride all year long. come back here for next season all ready to hit the comp season with no down-time to cool off.

this is my blog so i do have the right to rant now and then and now is one of those times.

this is about corporate America. to be specific, advertising. have you ever just been watching the tube when a commercial comes on with music in the background of a  band that a bunch of money grubbing, exploiting, sons of bitches should never even know about?the latest exploitation in this long list is "THE KING", yes boys and girls BURGER KING.
now before i go on i want to let all you kiddos know that i am not talking out my ass. i myself for a short time was a member of the corporate rat race. class of 1997 Penn state masters in business administration focusing in advertising, (my head is hung in shame). if you watch the tube at all you know about "THE KINGS" latest marketing campaign. using the retro big headed king suit from the 70's to try to get the baby boomer peoples coming back to "THE KING". they give out the vid games with the big head king to the gen"Y"  kiddos to get them to come in. now, now, those f*cking chicken hawks have gone after the gen"x"ers (thats my generation). paying off, (or even buying the rights from the record label I'm not sure) the "Violent Femmes". now it might now be seen as a big deal to a lot of people, but you have to realize when this song was written (1988) it wasn't even allowed to be played on college radio stations because of other songs on the album. do you  see the irony in this? but wait, lets take a look back at what has been done in the  past few years to make you dislike songs and bands that are great or even good just because it has gone main stream. 2002 Garnier using the Transplants, 1999 Nintendo using the butt hole surfers, 1997 Nintendo using the dead milkmen, 2000 - today Sony using anything off any tony hawk poop skaters video game. my point is this. if a company or business needs to use song and dance to make peoople come to their stores and or restaurants then their products probably arent good. so by buying into their sterotyping and image that if you buy their products or eat thier food you will be cool and unique you are actually falling into croud of the lemmings headed for the cliff. do youself and our nation a favor, STOP BUYING INTO CORPORATE RULE. THINK FOR YOURSELFS AND DICTATE THAT YOU DECIDE WHAT YOU BUY, AND NO AMOUNT OF DECEIPT AND LIES IS GOING TO DECIDE WHERE YOU SPEND YOU MONEY.

kids get off you fat asses and learn to skate don't play it. do you understand that when you play skating you make it football. i helped make skating what it is today by buying boards, braking bones, and sitting in my driveway practicing tricks for hours on end, even a amature sponsorship for a few years. by turning it into a sport you are killing what we all did. oh well we're killing the earth so you will have no place to breath, paybacks a bitch.

Introduction
The purpose of this paper is to exam the question of ‘the individual’ versus the ‘collective’ through the works of John Locke, Adam Smith and Raymond Williams and to determine the key distinctions they express. The first three sections of this paper will discuss Locke, Smith and Williams individually, focussing mainly on their ideas regarding the individual and the collective. Following the review of Locke, Smith, and Williams, I will continue with brief critique followed by some final thoughts.
There are several things to keep in mind in order to understand the positions Locke, Smith and Williams take on their works. First, It would be appropriate to gather the context to which the three articles are being applied. Aspects of society concerning the rights of the individual versus the rights of the collective were viewed much differently during Locke and Smith’s respected periods, as our ideas and notions have been built upon theirs and many other contributors of social thought. Care must be taken to examine the mindset of the times otherwise a conflict of thought processes can and will cloud the original ideas attested by Locke and Smith. An example of this adaptation of thought through later social ideals will be considered during a discussion of Raymond Williams work on the “Individual”, “society” and “class”.

John Locke - Locke on Property
Locke’s reasoning of individual property rights consider the notion that earth was given to Adam and Noah by God and therefore to man in his entirety. It is when the idea of personal property is questioned, that Locke examines the moment to which property becomes personal rather than those of the collective as a whole. The relationship to property is formed when an individuals labor is applied to the means of acquiring said property, thus according to Locke it is the right of man to lay claim to property if his labor has been applied towards its ownership. Locke’s rational considers the basic idea of subsistence as quoted,

“He that is nourished by the acorns he picked up under an oak, or the apples he gathered from the trees in the wood, has certainly appropriated them to himself. No body can deny but the nourishment is his. I ask then, when did they begin to be his? when he digested? or when he eat? or when he boiled? or when he brought them home? or when he picked them up? and it is plain, if the first gathering made them not his, nothing else could.”

The example of subsistence is chosen to illustrate private property as all people can relate to the need of subsistence to survive. It is the labor used to gather subsistence which Locke determines is the means to separate the property of an individual from that of the commons. Locke also implies that there are limits to private property. Property should not go to waste or spoilage as God’s intention was not to waste his creation, but rather to enjoy it. Waste is in essence almost worse than the lack of labor in the first place, for it is labor which has been cast away.
Locke also suggests that labor increases the value that of which is given to us by God. Private property is the individuals means to value of labor. A right to private property allows the individual to give himself the opportunity to achieve a level of satisfaction separate from the rest of the populace, while at the same time providing a check upon the amount of property a man could indulge without it going to waste. A conclusion to Locke’s argument as he states, “what portion a man carved to himself, was easily seen; and it was useless, as well as dishonest, to carve himself too much, or take more than he needed”.

Adam Smith - The Division of Labour
Adam Smith and his amalgamation of mercantile prospects and the improvement of labor and society,as to coincide with the separation of governmental control from those of the economy, make up the basis for the division of labor. Smith understands the the processes of labor as an accumulation of smaller tasks performed by specialized workers, even simple items such as a shirt or a pin go through numerous phases of production, passing through many hands. Individuals through the specialization of labour and the ability to trade that labour (earnings or products), provide themselves with the capacity to improve their place in society. The division of labour provides a relative level of opportunity to exceed a standard of living previously unattainable by the common peasant, as seen by Smith, “the accommodation of a European prince does not always so much exceed that of an industrious and frugal peasant as the accommodation of the latter exceeds that of many an African king, the absolute master of the lives and liberties of ten thousand naked savages.”
The individual is guided by his own self-interests where labour is certainly provided but to meet the benefits of his own ends. It seems as if the self-interest of improving ones position of wealth can only be obtained through the capacity of the collective to strive for the same goal. Smith describes the benefits of the individual-societal relationship,

“Every individual is continually exerting himself to find out the most advantageous employment for whatever capital he can command. It is his own advantage, indeed, and not that of the society, which he has in view. But the study of his own advantage naturally, or rather necessarily, leads him to prefer that employment which is most advantageous to the society.... “.

Smith describes the state as having useless and harmful laws regarding the import or foreign products rather than producing such products within the state. The idea of creating a product at a higher cost than which can be purchased elsewhere does only harm to the wealth of a nation. This leads Smith to “laisser faire” economics, where the individuals idea of value will decide the market prices rather than rules imposed by the state. The purpose of the state is to provide three things according to Smith: 1. protection from violence and other states, 2. the protection of all individuals from injustice through the institute of law, 3. establishing public works funded by the whole of society rather than few individuals who may not benefit as such. The three points which are laid out by Smith provide the government with a purpose while allowing the economic system to govern itself through the self-interest of the individual.

Raymond Williams - The “Individual”, “Society” and “Class”
Williams discusses the how the individual has related to society throughout history as seen by other philosophers. Though Williams comments on many philosophers, it is his marxist perspective which will be examined in regards to the individual, society and class. Williams argues that within modern industrialized society there is a distinction between the individual and the society which can be felt. There is no doubt that our individual goals and perceptions of the world are much different than those of the society as a whole. Williams describes society as cold, harsh and meaningless compared to the warmth of our individual homes and families, exemplifying a marxist perspective of the divide between community and the alienation of society towards the individual.
“Class” is described by Williams as a middle term used to define the area between the individual and the society. A ‘class’ is a separate social entity than that of the community and is not an association through social bonds but rather, is an abstract distinction within society as Williams describes in the following,

“Marx argued that by their common membership of a particular class, men will think and act in certain common ways even though they do not belong to the same actual communities, and that the processes of 'society' are in fact best understood in terms of the interaction of these classes.”

‘The individual’ and ‘society’ are now abutted by ‘class’ as a means of society to organize individuals into separate organizations without the need for physical relationships with one-another. Williams holds the nineteenth century introduction of ‘class ‘ as a distinguishing factor between previous thought and organization of ‘the individual’ and ‘society’, and the thoughts of those to whom persist.

Comparison of Locke, Smith and Williams: Perception of the ‘Individual’ and ‘collective’
The relationship between ‘the individual’ and ‘collective’ has changed over time through the thoughts and ideas of social philosophers and reflect the social and economic circumstances of the time to which they were conceived. Each of Locke, Smith and Williams comments seem to build upon each other, expanding but also contributing their own relationships as they see the individuals purpose in the society.
Locke places the relationship of the individual on private property as a means to labour. This relationship or private property and labour allow the individual to distinguish his fruits of labour from that of the collective, separate from those of the commons. The individual is gaining his individuality from the rest of the collective through private property.
Smith continues on the idea of individuality as a means to benefit the whole of the collective. Through the division of labour, Smith provides an economic environment free of governmental control to which the individual is free to increase his wealth and position in society. As the individual is given the ability to determine what market prices are fair, the market is naturally augmented to suit the maximum profit as this is what the individual strives for in order to benefit his position. The function of the market is based on the transactions of the individual while free from governmental control, in turn the freedom of the individual to choose what is best for himself within the market benefits the collective as a whole.
Williams expresses a marxist perspective which differs in terms of ‘the individual’ and ‘the collective’’ from those of Locke and Smith. Williams discusses the increased separation of the individual from the collective in an industrialized society. The transformation from individuality to the generic faceless concept of the ‘class’ within a collective has separated the individual and collective thought into two separate perspectives which exist at the same time.
The individual has gone from insignificant to a master of his own fate within the collective through Locke and Smith and back into the realm of insignificance in the lime light of a marxist perspective. Though Locke, Smith and Williams have based their view of the individuals relationship differently to each other, they are all based on the economic status of the individual and the common need to collectively work towards bettering our individual existence.

Conclusion
John Locke, Adam Smith and Raymond Williams have produced three instances of the individual and his relationship to the collective through the social philosophies produced during their experiences of their life times. Each instance reflects an economic construct to which they have based their ideas. Though the collective guides the lives of the individual, it is the labour of the individual which benefits the collective.

i believe that Christmas has been raped by marketing companies. it used to be a time of love, peace, and good wishes. icky fruit cake and a big home-cooked dinner with sugar cookies for dessert. real trees and real love. and presents that were good because you got them, not because you have more than that disgusting prick beside you.

but not now. now its new, improved, better, greater, and action packed! buy happiness at every store for a limited time only, while supplies last, offer only good with coupon, a free super duper deluxe pencil sharpener with every purchase! and, if you act now, you also get, at no cost to you, a grade A, prime cut, pure silver nail file. we have all colors, we have all styles, so come on down, and lets rape Christmas together! spread the holiday cheer to all your neighbors! (these last statements may have been exagerated. All rights reserved.)

you dont believe me? turn on your televison. go on! ill wait. look at the pretty men and women in the latest fashions, smiling and hugging all because they went to Jared!! >_<

i love christmas, but i hate shopping and dealing with the stupid things that are now a package deal.

Esurance ICER AIR 2006, the first big-air ski and snowboard event held in a stadium, drew 25,000 spectators for a fun-filled day of snow, music and big-air.

"We really wanted to take this to a whole new level," said ICER President and Founder, Glen Griffin. Esurance ICER AIR featured a 100-foot high ski and snowboard jump that descended from the scoreboard at AT&T Park, extending over 350 feet in length and covered with 200 tons of snow. Last year's third place winner, TJ Schiller, edged out X-Games gold medalist Jon Olssen to claim the title. Jon Spriggs finished in third.

On the snowboarding side, Travis Rice, one of the hottest new riders on the scene, took the title with an astounding lead. Andreas Wiig came in second followed by two time Olympian and silver medalist Danny Kass.

My Blog: Human Rights?
By: smsbrdr1

As I sit here studying for my mid term on Intro to HUman RIghts, I realize a few things. 1: I am out of my mind for even taking this course. And 2: we don't have human rights. This may seem like a controversial standpoint, but I strongly belive this. We are not born with human rights, and the only rights we have are granted ot us by the state that we are citizens of. The only reason we have human rights is because we have the State that enforces them.
Having a right suggests that someone has a duty. It is like a coin, with every head, comes a tail. Picture yourself on an island. And there is just you. You have no right to live, simply because there is no being on that island to ensure that right. Now picture yourself on that same island with one other person. You now belive that you have a right to live, the right to be able to sleep at night without worrying that the other person will kill you in your sleep. This is not so. The right does not exist if the other person does not agree to it. In order for your basic right to live to be enforced, the other castay must agree to not kill you. So now, you have a right to live only because that person has agreed not to kill you.
Thus, finishing my random rambling, we do not have rights unless there is someone to adhere to them, and carry out their duty to that right. If a state refuses to protect your "right to live" then you no longer have that right. Unfair, but undeniably true.

WARNING: CONTAINS EXTREME AMERICANIST ATTITUDE.

So, recently I was in chat, and current global situations came into thought and prospect.  More specifically, the situation in the Middle East.  It was interesting listening and seeing the different perspectives.  One came from a soldier, currently being deployed back to the Mid. East, and several other's came from Americans.  When asked by someone in chat what the general assertion towards forces in Iraq by the locals was, the soldier replied that they weren't too fond of the troops.  This caught the asker of the question off guard and she continued to rant about how we're trying to make the situation better there and such.  The soldier seemed to have a much better grasp on the idea then the girl did, and who could doubt that, he's been there.  He mentioned that it was mainly based on a religious ground, and that issues like that aside, the culture was rather nice.  The girl then exclaimed that the Islamic religion was "effed up beyond belief".  She then commented that all Muslims want is power and conquest and that they hate anyone who doesn't chose to worship their religion.  After hearing this, i could help but ponder the situation in my own mind...

From current comprehension of material taught in World Civ, the reason we have turmoil amongs Muslim people is because there was no single person chosen to sucess Muhammad when he died.  Soon after his death, two groups formed, and ever since they've been in an intense struggle for the caliphate.  As Islam spread in the 600-1400's the Umayyads who had control of the Caliphate for a good portion of time were not at all biased upon those who didn't chose to worship in the Islamic faith.  As long as taxes were paid, conquered malawi were entitled to worship whatever diety they wanted.  Many people who were conquered however, do switch over to Islam, because like all universal religions, it gives one a sense of comfort, a sense of reason, particuaraly in times of chaos.  And when your civilization has just been conquered by desert people with big swords, a sense of comfort is probably needed.  Granted, once the Abassids came in religious tolerance declined severly, but still, it's not as if there wasn't any at all.

As far as the people's general opinion is concerned, can you really blame them for not being too fond of the troops?  Sure, we see it from the view point that we're trying to help, make things better, promote democracy.  For generations all these people have known is what we call opression.  It's what they've based their life upon.  To them it looks like these strangers from a land too far away to even comprehend what centuries of work have formed are kicking in the door and usetting everything they've ever known.  And in a way, we are.  That's not saying i don't support the troops, or the cause they're fighting for, but I've also been fortunate enough to see the rights and privledges I as an American have.  They don't have that same background, so how can you expect them to be appreciative of what we're doing if they don't understand the concept, or don't want the concept to begin with.  What if a higher more advanced civilization kicked the door in on us and said "to heck with your democracy! we've got something that'll work much better than that."  Who knows, maybe their goverment does work better, and maybe it doesn't, but either way, there's no way to know.

So when you hear about the turmoil and the violence and regression expressed by Middle Eastern peoples, don't think that they're ungreatful or ignorant or violent barbarians.  They sure as heck don't have the same perspective on the situation that we do.

"Wake Up"

You see me - I see through you
You say f*ck me - I say f*ck you
You don't love me - I don't love you
I rise above and I say "f*ck You Bitch"

I don't know how I find the power
To face all these f*cking cowards
All I really wanna do is disembowel one every hour
Go home smoke a joint
and beat off in the shower
Then dispose of all the evidence
and pop a couple downers

If you know me then you know I really have no friends
Get hi a lot - I drink and drive a lot
The innocent they die a lot
Now don't be fooled when you see me smile a lot
cuz I'll go punk rock
Blow up your whole block

Wake Up
Wake up motherf*cker wake up
I don't give a f*ck motherf*cker wake up
You're not punk rock bitch
You just a punk

Die motherf*cker die mothef*cker die
Die motherf*cker die mothef*cker die
Get hi motherf*cker hi motherf*cker hi
We ride motherf*cker or motherf*ckin die

Semper fi
I'm ready for a fight
These First Amendment rights
are guaranteed to me
Regardless if I say shi*t you don't like
So every night I grab the mic
I spit shi*t just for spite
If I can't push some buttons
Why the f*ck should I recite
Poems are meant to shed some light
On all these hyprocrits and sodomites
Buddy I'll incite a riot in this twilight zone tonight
Cuz I don't give a f*ck
Now shut the f*ck up
Or I'll go straight punk
Blow the whole block up

Wake Up....

Why is life as cold as hell
and why can't I control myself
Why am I so insecure
I don't even know myself
Yea I'm so f*ckin immature
I tried to grow hydro myself
If I had the power I'd bring back the Twin Towers myself

Then I'd gather up all the Alquaeda cowards
Now ya all burn in hell
Now ya get what you deserve
Now ya know not to f*ck with my brother Nick Berg
