Quebec City, March 19, 2008 - Handrails and urban snowboard fans had everything they needed Friday night March 7 to appreciate the 3rd edition of Stairsmasters, downtown Quebec city. The Stairsmasters is the urban event taking place during the Snowboard Jamboree which celebrates snowboarding of all kinds!

The best of the best were all on Place D’Youville to show the public how high is the standard for becoming professional. Some never seen before tricks got thrown down, for the 4000 spectators. Such as the switch bs 180 to 50-50, backside 360 out from Brian McClatchy, or the 180 switch 50-50, to switch bs out from Louif Paradis. Also great performance by Frank April, Chris Rotax, LNP, and Alex Cantin. The victory went to Jason Dubois, who has been very consistent on the rail, but also pushed the limits on the wallride. Jason went home with a brand new Suzuki motocross, a huge medal and $375 for participation prize.

The Stairsmasters : stay tuned for next year edition.

See details, results and pictures on www.snowjamboree.com and of Video the event at 33mag.

Sebe's Blog: Me
By: boondocker

Well, I tried writing all this into my personal info today, just to realize that they only allow you 1000 characters...absolute bullshi*t considering people can put tons of gay little gifs on their page that make it neverending while scrolling down. Anyways, here's what I wrote..if you're interested.

- Things I Love -

-Snowboarding, Wakeboarding, and watching people Skate (because I'm more likely to crack my skull open on the pavement than to do an ollie...sad, I know)

-Sledding kicks ass, but surprisingly, is not my favourite thing to do. (Although Slednecks are badass)

-I LOVE Quading. I've had the best times of my life quading. I mean, how could you NOT love being up north at a beautiful lake on a hot summer day, and having tons of mud to play in

-Dirtbiking is the best thing to have ever happened to this world. And Motocross...wow. My favourite weekend all year is when the Motocross Nationals are here at Moto Valley...great times.

-Photography and Filming. I have a lot of my photos in my gallery, so take a look at em.

-Music means a lot to me. I can listen to almost any kind of music, but I really love older rock and country.

Some of my favourite bands are: Nirvana, Zeppelin, HIM, Incubus, Audioslave, Pink Floyd, Deftones, CKY, Fuel, Nine Inch Nails, and Tom Petty.

As for country, I love: The Corb Lund Band, Big N Rich, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Great Big Sea, and tons of others. I honestly like anything country.

-Bowling
-Pool
-Movies
-Clothes (I absolutely loathe shopping, but I love clothes. Doesn't make sense, I know.)
-Mountain Biking
-Going for drives in the summer, smoking, and listening to music (it's therapeutic, I swear)

- Things I Hate -

-Sluts (yep, end your lives)
-Shopping
-Pop music
-People who think they're badass because they've been in jail for B&E's and auto theft. Yeah, you're real badass with that grade 6 education aren't ya?
-Being interrupted
-People on this site who are like "L0Lz Im SO0 SexXxI!!" and "U kan toucH bUt U KaNt HaV!1!~! HeHeZz". Seriously, you're ugly and no one likes you...time to face reality
-School
-Cellphones
-Emo kids (sorry...you're annoying)
-Metalheads who think they're part of some superior race because they listen to music about politics and how the world isn't fair. You guys are pretty much Emo kids with a lot of anger.

INAUGURAL "ARBY’S® ACTION SPORTS AWARDS" TO PREMIERE ON FOX, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10

X Games Champion Travis Pastrana Nominated Four Times;
Olympic Gold Medalist Shaun White Up For Three Awards;
Olympians Hannah Teter, Gretchen Bleiler and Lindsey Jacobellis Compete for Female Snowboarder of the Year

Fans to Begin Voting Online Now at
www.fuel.tv

The top action sports performances of the year will be honored at the inaugural Arby’s® Action Sports Awards presented by FUEL TV, airing nationally on FOX, Sunday, December 10. The ceremony will bring together the biggest names in skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, BMX, freestyle motocross and more along with dozens of celebrities from across the entertainment spectrum for one star-studded, high-flying show!

FMX star Travis Pastrana received four nominations following his double backflip performance at this summer’s X Games. Jamie Bestwick, one of the top BMX vert riders in the world, also received four nominations. Shaun White is up for three awards coming off his Olympic Gold Medal and Winter X Games Gold Medal snowboard runs. Lindsey Jacobellis contends for Female Snowboarder of the Year with fellow Olympians Hannah Teter and Gretchen Bleiler. The competition continues out of the water for surfers Andy and Bruce Irons, Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Sofia Mulanovich, Rochelle Ballard and Chelsea Georgeson, among other top pros.

“Being nominated for one award would be special, but four awards is truly unbelievable,” said Pastrana. “I’ve had just an amazing year and to be recognized by the industry is an honor.”

Winners will be determined by the combination of fan balloting and a panel of expert judges, then announced during taped ceremonies on November 30. FOX will air the show nationally on December 10, at 2:30 PM ET/PT or 4:30 PM ET/PT either preceding or following local NFL coverage that afternoon (check local listings). FUEL TV, the only 24/7 network dedicated to the lifestyle of action sports, is hosting online voting now for fans and viewers at www.fuel.tv.

"FOX Sports is happy to be working in conjunction with our brethren at FUEL to bring the Arby's Action Sports Awards to the entire country," said FOX Sports President Ed Goren. "Action sports are growing in popularity every year, and this show highlights the best of the best."

The Arby’s Action Sports Awards is produced by Future Mainstream Productions and the award-winning team of Bob Bain and Mike Burg, veterans of such events as the "Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards" and the "Teen Choice Awards." FUEL TV is supporting the event with its signature red carpet series "Blue Carpet Special," a special preview show premiering November 6, and will re-telecast the Arby’s Action Sports Awards throughout December.

"The growth and popularity of action sports is at an all-time high and it is time to honor such amazing feats as Shaun White’s Olympic Gold Medal and Travis Pastrana’s double backflip at the X Games," said Bain. "Not only do children aspire to be the next Pastrana or White, but the music and entertainment industries have a true affinity for these sports, so we look forward to putting together a memorable event for viewers."

Arby’s has signed on to be the presenting sponsor and other major sponsors include Jeep®, Activision and Nike. "Through this event, we’ve been able to create an unprecedented integrated marketing platform to reach the highly sought-after male 14-34 demo in the fourth quarter," said Burg. "For a creative and aggressive marketer, the opportunities to work with the show are endless"

"This was a fantastic opportunity for us to partner with a brand new awards program that recognizes young athletes for extraordinary talents," said Debra Mager, Senior Vice President of National Advertising, Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. "These kids take risks and excel at being different, which is something we at Arby’s have always prided ourselves on."

A panel of industry experts nominated the top athletes in 20 different categories. Many of the awards are sport and gender specific such as Skateboarder of the Year (male and female) and FMX Rider of the Year. Achievements that transcend the genre have been nominated in categories such as Rider of the Year, Huevos Grande and Performance of the Year.

‘BIGGER AND BETTER’ COORS LIGHT TRAUMA TOUR RETURNS TO SYLVAN LAKE FEATURING WORLD-CLASS WAKEBOARDING AND TOP MUSICAL ACTS

The Coors Light Trauma Tour featuring the Pro Wake Invitational returns to Sylvan Lake, Alberta this summer, and with a new two-day format, it promises to be bigger and better! Ten of the world’s top professional wakeboarders will compete for $40,000 U.S. in prize money. And there will be non-stop concert performances from the hottest bands around – it’s all part of the Solo Mobile Concert Series.

The Solo Mobile Concert Series will be kicking off on Friday, September 1 with a performance by Bedouin Soundclash.

The trio from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario set the Canadian music scene on fire last year with their hit single “When the Night Feels My Song” which rose all the way to Number One on MuchMusic and was the second most played song on Canadian radio in 2005. De La Soul will headline the concert series the next night.

Also new for 2006, is a national and international television broadcast of the Coors Light Trauma Tour in Sylvan Lake. The event will be featured on the Xtreme Channel and Fusion TV as well as OLN in the United States.

Canadian pro wakeboarders Chad Sharpe and Rusty Malinoski will take on the best riders in the world including Andrew Adkison of the U.S., the Pro Wakeboard Tour’s number one ranked rider. The 10 pros will battle it out on the water in three wakeboarding disciplines – “Double Up”, “Rail Rumble” and “Full Pull” – with each discipline worth $10,000. An additional prize of $10,000 will also be awarded to the best rider overall.

As if the action on the water and the stage isn’t enough, fans can also look forward to the high-flying stunts of the Metal Mulisha Freestyle Motocross show and the battle of the beauties for the title of Miss Trauma Tour.

Tickets for the Coors Light Trauma Tour featuring the Pro Wake Invitational will go on sale July 15th and will be available by calling 1-866-891-WAKE or by visiting www.prowakeinvitational.com. Last year tickets sold out fast, so don’t wait too long to get yours!

What's up eh? Well, last weekend (July 8th and 9th) I went to Round 5 of the Canadian Motocross Nationals at my home town's track, Moto Valley. I brought the only friend who shares a passion for motocross with me, Carly. So we got there f-in' early on Saturday and watched ALL the practices haha. Yes, I know we're dedicated..and proud of it. Then, around 11a.m, we were stopped by this guy who asked us to be Trophy Girls. We were definitely down for it. So Sunday rolls around and we get there at 10a.m. sharp since we had to meet some guys who were going to tell us what to do. We walked to where we were supposed to meet, and they immediately start giving us all this free stuff. C.d.'s, stickers, autographed posters, shirts...it was sweet. Then they gave us these huge Royal Distributing shirts and told us to cut them up until they were "revealing". So we did that, and I think in the end, they turned out alright. I'll post a picture of us wearing them and standing with the sexy Dusty Klatt...yea baby. After that, we were pretty much treated like V.I.P. I felt like such a moto-slut haha. Between races we walked by all the tents, checking out everyone's bikes and whatnot. Well, once people knew we were trophy girls, things changed. One of the Suzuki riders hit on us for literally 10 minutes, and gave us Suzuki hats haha. He was hot..I enjoyed myself. Then some guy working with Kawasaki asked us to take a picture with his son (who motocrossed), and the kid wanted us to sign his jersey HAHA. The whole time I was thinking, "kid..we're nobody's, you're going to regret this". And then the Kawasaki guy was asking me about riding and I told him that next year if I do have enough money to ride, I'm going to be a privateer. And he was like, "ohh no, we'll hook you up and Kawasaki can sponsor you." I was like...sweet, too bad I hate Kawasakis because they're jap-crap. Then, for the FINAL race of the day, I got to go into the pits and take close ups of a bunch of the riders, and then I went on the track for the entire race and got some sick shots. The only downside of it is that all I have right now is a 55mm lens. Anyway, this is getting lengthy so I'll start talking about the end of the day. Carly and I left the guy who we worked with, Mark, our email addresses and phone numbers because they said they were going to hook us up with a bunch of Joe Boxer stuff. And they're sending us a dvd of the broadcast of us on stage (apparently it's going to be aired on 35 channels worldwide). After that, Mark took us around to meet a bunch of the racers. We met Roy, and Klatt (if you couldn't tell, I'm OBSESSED with him), and Mesley..which was Mark's racer. They were all sweet, especially Roy haha...he's awesome. Mesley invited me back to his hotel room hahaha. Then we left, and Mark called me a few hours later inviting us out for supper with a bunch of the mxers. Well, we went..and couldn't find the f*cking place because the East End of our city is f*cked up. I was so angry. Then Mark called me back later and I told him what happened, but by then they were heading to the bar, so we didn't bother driving across town again. But yeah, that was my amazing weekend. We started out as the only girls there who actually came to just watch motocross, and left as Trophy Girls haha. I never thought thats how it would turn out, but it was awesome. Anyways, I'll post pictures...check them out. Peace.

Greetings new friends ....

I used to skate when I was 13 .. which is oh about 12 years ago ... but, I have remained interested in the sport and over the past few years gained interest in other axtion sports like bmx, snowboarding, street luge, jeeping (yea with a jeep), and some motocross. I find that I am more into freestyle events, love vert ramps, parks, etc.

A new friend of mine, who's been skating for a while now, just recently sponsored my "Back on da Wood" lifestyle campaign by giving me a RASA LIBRE deck and some 54's (wheels) ... so in tribute to good old Matty, I stocked this machine with Stage 7's (Independent Trucks) and some Reds (Bones Bearings) ... ah, pictures to come soon. Back to the RASA, originally made by the guys doing LRG and Organic ... RASA's are not being made anymore. Matty is the man.

My passion is music. I have been in the music business for several years now, but I have finally pieced all of my experience together and will be launching a new company known as The Industry Collective in Fall 2006. The Industry Collective is an entertainment company focused on showcasing bands, athletes, and we'll even throw some lifestyle in there. We will also be launching a clothing line after some time has passed. So, plenty is going on.

We are accepting submissions from bands and riders (skate, bmx, snow, mtb, etc.). We are interested in those who have "madd love" for their sport. If you or someone you know might be interested in this, you can PM me here. But, you should also send an email to: ride4theindustry@cmwalker.com

Shakka Brah!
It's getting cold here in GAP, but there still is no snow on the Zugspitze. You could ride your Motocross up there, the way it looks like right now. But maybe if we all eat up our dinner plates at night, it will snow a wee-bit.
Nothing else new here. Going to the Pleasure Jam at Dachstein 5-7 of November. Hope that will be good. My camera is broken. Crap.hmmmm....hit me with some comments, I'm bored.
Don't forget to get "IsenSevenLovesYou!" for those snowed in days in front of the boob-tube.
