My Blog: WSSC- My week there

Day 1
I was pretty nervous when I left home and took a flight to Vancouver BC. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to snowboard as good as the others, but when I went, you're organized into groups depending on your level. It was silly of me to worry, but when i did go, the campers were pretty chill so it didn't even matter anyways. Well anyways, when I landed in Vancouver, I met so many people at the airport going to Whistler Summer Snowboard Camp. When we all boarded the camp bus/shuttle I met even MORE people. During the evening, we were to meet at the mountain room (a huge room with a big screen tv). There we were introduced to all the coaches and info about the camp, like camp rules, schedual, and activites. When i got to my room, there I met my 2 roomates! They were the same level as me at snowboarding and same age too! They were also in my group which was cool. I made friends really quick.

Day 2-6

The park is siiiiiiiick. They have their own terrain on Blackcomb Mountain, with jumps, rails, boxes, and a tent that you can just chill at if you're tired or hungry. The weather felt like it was 20 degrees, it was so hot! I think that's really cool, the weather being really warm and being able to snowboard. I know what you're thinking, but no! The snow isn't all slush! There's plenty of snow and the groomers of their camp groom it everyday so it's all good. I got a pretty sick goggle tan.

Activites

Out of all the activites, I've got to say that bungee jumping was my favourite! You're there with all your friends going bungee jumping! There's other activities like wakeboarding, paintball, mountain biking, driving range/miniputt, skateboarding, indoor rockclimbing, games room/movie lounge, pool/hot tub at the hotel, tennis/volleyball/dodgeball, or just chilling at Whistler Village!

Overall, this was the highlight of my summer!

My Blog: Snowboard Preparation Tips

Everyone that loves snow boarding knows that accidents can easily happen, and accidents do happen on a daily basis. That is why you have to follow basic tips to prepare before you actually hit the slopes, and if you do not follow the basic rules then you are simply asking for accidents to happen. That is why I recommend that anyone who is planning a snow board tip should do the following before they even consider leaving the house:

1.    Ensure that you clean your board and your boots. When you allow your boots and board to get dirty, then they not click into place as well, and you also risk slipping etc. More than anything else you should never deliberately go to the slope with boots and a board that are dirty.

2.    You should always ensure that a member of your family or friends knows where you are, and when you are expected to be back. If you are out on a long run, and something wrong happens, then you are left to rely on someone to find you if the worst happens and you get lost with an injury.

3.    Always wear waterproof clothes. If you do not wear waterproof clothing then you are surely asking for problems. This means water proof trousers, water proof jacket, and water proof gloves are a must.

4.    Make sure that you do not eat something that is too filling or you may end up with cramps and the kind of thing that you have to try and avoid. The best food that you can eat before you hit the slopes is high calorie, low fat foods, such as pasta for example.

5.    Do not consider trying runs that are well in advance of your ability levels, the trick is to take things slowly and try and build up gradually, time by time, every time you visit. Jumping ahead of yourself can actually mean that you place too much pressure on yourself and you end up not wanting to come back.

6.    Consider your friends and prepare how you are going to act based on those that you are going snow boarding with. If the snow boarder is an amateur, then you have to think how you would feel if you were to go snow boarding with someone and they were to always try more challenging runs. You would surely try and compete and that can cause accidents and embarrassment.

7.    Bring a change of clothing and a snack for when you are out. It is good to come prepared and you do not want your day to end early because your clothes are uncomfortable or because you are hungry or thirsty. Remember that when you are out on the slopes that if you fail to drink enough then problems can happen. You may feel cold, so you do not feel thirsty, but that is why you have to try and ensure that have enough to drink.

Making sure that you are prepared for going on a snow boarding trip is one of the best ways to ensure that you have a great day, and so does everyone around you. Taking that extra time, to ensure that everything is going to go smoothly will surely pay off when you are on the slopes.

My Blog: broken wrist

Hi all
I busted my right distal radius into multiple pieces(comminuted)about two wks ago which led to other issues: stiff and unusable primary hand. I wasnt able to find any blogs out there that went thru the day to day recovery so i hope i can be there for anyone in the future who might want more info. Its hard to type so thats probably why there are few blogs chronicling this.

How it happened: Some might feel indestructible blasting down or jumping up as fast without a worry in the world and have a glory accident story. But my story is very pedestrian. I basically modified the way i fell due to a series of crashes(high speed near bottom of the mountain on the rear right deltoid). So the day of the injury my shoulder was so sprained i couldnt raise it above my head.. But I still went boarding the next day (mlk wknd at squaw valley) and it was my toe edge on ice near kt22 lift traversing to red dog in the afternoon that did me in.

    After the incident I knew right away something was wrong since the wrist was deformed,swelling, and my fingers I couldnt move them. After the doctor onsite 'reduced' it(pulled it back into place) I felt better although far from normal.
    Fast forward to vicodin/naprosyn and a surgery to correct everything. By wednesday after I was in surgery in which the surgeon put a titanium plate and screws. Post surgery, I did not feel like myself at all(low energy sleeping too much eating simple and not desiring meat/wine, X games were inspiring tho). It has now been 10 days since surgery. It is a real bitch to sleep at night since the pain is throbbing and unending. I went off the meds though since it was making me wake up super late and groggy although I was beginning to get addicted to the vicodin.
      I guess my right hand still works a little bit as I can grip some items but it feels robotic slow and stiff. Pressing buttons is even a strange experience. I started typing but it is still very foreign. Doc says I will start pt after the splint comes off 6wks post surgery.. And advises me to move as much as possible.. I dont know but Im more focused on writing/using my hands than getting back on the slopes. I do still have a season pass tho that I need to utilize.
      I am really hoping that the pain will go away so I can sleep at night, and that I can type more proficiently. After I would like to write. No idea how many days that will take though.. I wonder if I will be able to brush my teeth before beingable to write normally again. Cheers.

Seems I hadnt updated since like march. My trip to Colorado was SIIICK. I never did so much glade riding in my life. Crazy stuff. All the mountains had something to offer, though I think I enjoyed Copper the most. We were up on an ice bridge at the top of a mountain, and we took some off the beaten path/possibly out of bounds trail down. Lost my friend along the way, totally untracked stuff, not even snowmobile tracks around. I thought I was gonna end up popping out on the highway. I truly was alone, riding through glades and jumping over small creeks, lost in the wilderness, so I thought. BEst riding experience ever.

I did learn something about me though. I found that I truly am more of a freerider than a freestyle person. I only do freestyle at Creek because that's ALL there is to do, and I don't even do that too often, due to icy conditions/crappy landings.

Anyhow, the new season approaches and I pretty much have all new gear from last season, though I'm probably going to swap out my freestyle deck with something stiffer, like a Skunk Ape or the such.

Mt.Washed has closed for the season even though there's still 400cms of snow up there so we've taken to the sleds lots more lately.

The weather's been amazing here on the Island, we rode deep powder twice this last week! We also found ourselves a nice road gap on our travels in the backcountry.

Ole sold his sled so who knows what he'll bring to tow people around for the last camp. Maybe a tractor? You never know.

My Blog: JumpCamp News Just In!

The first two JumpCamp's rocked!

Mother nature was a real doll and gave us some killer weather and the snow conditions were soft and slushy, perfect for jumping and freeriding. Campers were stoked on all the new features in the park and all the natural terrain on Forbidden that we sessioned.

We even set up a cliff feature for some adventurous campers to launch. Campers really impressed me with their drive to learn new tricks and strengthen their riding. Tons of camper firsts went down over the course of the two sessions; First time grabs, spins, spins with grabs, inverted spins... It was insane! All the campers had a wicked time and really progressed their skills a lot. Thanks to all our sponsors and coaches for an amazing set of camps. Keep checking back for all the pics from the camps in the photo section of the site.

Fresh pow in March? Yep, you got it. We've had some sweet days up the hill lately. With the amount of snow still on Forbidden we're going to be shreddin' into the summertime!

My Blog: Love for a machine

Recently I have been trying to figure out why God put me on this forsaken planet. Reason being, a Police department came to me and offered me a job. Previously to this, I was going to start school in May to follow my long roots and become a Bicycle Guru. Sometimes you get so caught up in "life" that you forget what matters most to you and makes you happy.

Last night I put in a movie called "Roam." It is a sequel to the movie "The Collective." It is a mountain biking film with Pros doing insane stunts and riding fast singletrack and even Ryan Leech on his Trials bike. The great thing about these movies is that they give me an adrenaline rush right there on the couch. And even though these riders are jumping HUGE road gaps and stunts, I still find a way to relax and fall asleep. I may be sick in the head, or I may just find comfort in acts of defying death and physics. I don't know.

Before I started to snooze, I was watching this wicked fast single track section and realized my love for mountain biking. I sometimes look at what I have invested in my arsenal of bicycles and think, "I could have like 2 motorcycles with all this." Sadly its true. But last night it dawned on me, as it does from time to time. I love riding motorcycles. They're so free, man and machine. But a bicycle takes it that much further. Many people Say, "its not about the Destination, but about the Journey." When you finish the journey and look back and think, I did that all myself. No engine, no gasoline, just me, my bike and a burrito or two. You go so much deeper on a mountain bike than on a motorcycle. Your breathing as it sets the pace. Heartrate pounding in your ears as you make your way up ascents that would scare sherpas. The Rush when you let go of the bars to trick as you fly over gorge's. The exhilaration when you crest a mountain to watch the sun settle into the horizon for its slumber. All this under your own power. You, two pedals, a chain, some gears, maybe suspension and a frame. This is when the Spritual aspect comes into effect that puts it way ahead of throttle twisting. It's surreal when you look at the terrain you just tackled and you get an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment.

Riding is not just subject to us in the Northern hemisphere either. I have seen many films where riders are in 3rd world countries. The faces of the locals light up, as well as the riders, in a way of euphoria that words cannot describe. Bicycles are a Culture and Language of their own, spoken through out the world without saying a word. One day I will ride my way across the globe. Bringing inspiring smiles to children and adults alike in far away lands and my own town of residence. Then I will have a journey of my own to tell. This.........all this, is what makes me happy.

Got out later today.
Overcast today with fresh snow on top of packed.

Watched some of the couch jumping then took a few runs. Found K and P.
K and I headed back to Smokies to check out more couch jumping and some rail sliding.
Saw M from Meetup there as well.
Had been looking at the couch most of the day and thinking about hitting it.
At the end of the day, was going to do it after P and D were, but they stratched their first runs.
Waited forever for them to go up and come back down again so after some prodding, I finally decided to hike up and hit it.
First time, slid out on heelside on landing.
Funny guy said that I'd been looking at it all day and finally decided to try.
Hiked back up to hit it again.
Same thing - slid out on heels. And that was all she wrote.
Good times this whole weekend.

I can't believe I snowboard! I know, it's so much fun and a great lifestyle for adrenaline junksters. A little about me time, I grew up with my cousin as friends and we did everything together at that time. Basketball, fishing, sling shot, hunting, school, girls, biking, snowboarding, a listless of many things. One day we watched x-games and had a pretty good time seeing people doing extreme jumps and tricks.Then, locally, There was a local store that was selling little snowboards for kids and beginners. We stole one of the kid's snowboard and almost every kid had one and if it didn't had any names on it, it would be stolen. Well anyway, our first snowboarding was sliding down a small snow pyrimid. We eventually made a small ramp for small jumps. We started doing easy tricks like 180 and grabs. Then we stared going for the bigger stages where theres more sliding and jumping. So and so, few years passed, I finally got my own board after he had gotten his own. The feeling of an endlessness and possibility cramped into he atmosphere was nearly impossible to be taken over by other fun activities. Few years later, we are now grown-ups, with experiences of personal problems that made us cut down from snowboarding. Yet, still snowboarding is still an awesome blood running activity. I am left alone with snowboarding while my friend fell in love and starting a new family and therefore, he is now under his own pressure support for his life. Taken away naturally, yet still supportive to him with my heart. Now I take on a passage journey to this road where I roam in any mountains and cliffs. Where my life, is set until God knows whats next. I am proud to be a snowboard.com member.

My Blog: Trip Report - Kayak

So there was a handful of dumb people today - me included, that decided since it wasn't really snowboard weather, then it meant it was kayaking weather!!!!

So here is a bunch of us at the put-in getting ready for a very cold run!

The fun parts!! Unfortunately I flipped early on trying to play and FROZE - my ear started to bother me and that pretty much took me outta the fun part, this is DEFINATELY no time to get out of your boat, and since my roll isn't bomb-proof anymore, I decided to watch the others surf!

So on the way back to warmth, we passed this bridge which we've debated jumping off of before, since the water level was so high though, the guys decided it was a good time to do it! Here's the first guinea pig.

After this, and going and breaking ice..and doding fallen trees that were flowing down the river, we returned to warmth, where they slide down side of the river bank which was covered in snow for a bit...I was SO cold! Got dressed and enjoyed hot chocolate! And we're all going snowboarding tomorrow!!! woohoo!

My Blog: O2 Blog; Summer

Hello People, Sorry this is a very late blog I wrote it like one and a half months ago but according to the Snowboard.com website problems and the problems with my broken Computer I couldn’t post it earlier. Sorryy, but here it still comes. I hope you are all enjoying a good summer wherever you are. Since my last blog where I reported about my last few days in school a lot happened in my life. At first, when summer school vacation started I spent a few days at home to have time with my familie and then I went on holiday to Croatia with my girlfriend Tine and my friend and Isenseven Crewmate Peter König. We had a pretty good time there, a lot of sun, good food, snorkling or just enjoying in the sun to get some Energy for our snowboard trip to New Zealand one week later. Here a few pictures I made in Croatia with my new cellphone Nokia N95 which O2 offered me to picture my trips. Peter and me... rollin

After Croatia I had just 2 days back at home to get my stuff done and pack my luggage for New Zealand. Then I went to Munich for my first real Concert in the famous „Atomic Cafe“ Bar, the Band was called „Voxtrot“ from Texas United States and it was just amazeing to watch them playing the tunes. Then the last day before our Flight left, I went surfing with Marco Smolla at the „Eisbach“ river in the centre of Munich. So much fun, there is a big Wave in the middle of the city. It was pretty hard for me the first time but it was real fun. At the next morning, Marco Smolla, Andre Kuhlmann, Peter König and me checked in at Munich Airport. After our last Weißbier and Weißwurst at the Airport Restaurant, we entered our Airplane and left Bavaria. On our trip we stopped at 4 different Airports and one gas station to get to our final destination. Peter and me „Weißwurstfrühstück“ at Munich Airport

Wanaka, a small town on the South Island of New Zealand. According to this 2 day long journey we where pretty excited to move our sore bodies and go Snowboarding. Thanks to Marco and Jorma, that they managed everything about the house and rental car before we got here. The mountain where we always ride here is called Snowpark, it’s one hill consisting of one huge Snowboard Park. With a Superpipe, Quarterpipe, a bigger Jump Line and 2 smaller jib lines on each side with different Obstacles, boxes, rails and smaller jumps. Riding there in summer to work on your snowboard skills for the season without any preasure. Snowpark

We are here for a peride of three weeks. From now on we have one week left. One day we made a trip to the Western Coast of the country which was very exciting, we had barbecue on the beach with our friends from Switzerland and got a view of New Zealand great Landscape.

We had another day off snowboarding, and created our own adventure day. We went skydiving in the morning with our friend Elias Elhardt which was propably the crazyest feeling I ever had, jumping out of a plane in 3500 meter high. After that we played some Golf to relax after this crazy jump. And in the Evening we played some Tennis. This was my favourite day of this trip so far. Fischi the Phographer and Photo Editor from Pleasure Snowboard Magazin just arrived today. So we will focus the next days shooting with him to get some snowboard photos.

My Blog: 2nd skydive!!

Zodi went with me for my 2nd jump & her first, it was awesome!!!! I somehow lucked out & got the hottest instructor there :) We did a flip coming out of the plane, which he claimed was not on purpose but it was fun! Next time I have the option of jumping by myself, but I don't think I'm ready for that just yet! What a rush!!! I'm still high :)

フリーラン♪

2007.03.30 Friday

Free riding!♪

We went to Whistler mountain!Tadashi, Aki, Shota, Taro, and me Keiji.Contrary to the forecast, it was good weather today.It was the first time in a long time we went up the mountain because we have been shooting with our sleds lately.There were still so much good snow on the peak and it boost our spirits.We all hit the mogul slopes so our legs are so tired but we had so much fun.Some birds came to have lunch with us.Aki with Taro’s sun glasses.In the afternoon, we headed to the snowboard park.It was so crowded because it was sunny.The people there were so greedy to drop in that you couldn't tell when and who was dropping in. It was like a boarder cross race.After we went down the mountain, we had some beers and chicken wings.Chicken wings are so tasty! Some are spicy and some are sweet.When I went to Alaska, I ate chicken wings all the time.Everybody loved it.We had so much fun free riding. Riding with friends is the best!

昨日はみんなでウィスラーマウンテンへ滑りに行ってきました！メンバーは忠、アキ、ショータ、フィルマーのタロウと自分（ケイジ）の5人。天気予報とは違っていい天気。最近モービルでの撮影ばかりだったので、フリーランするのはみんな久しぶり。山頂はまだいい雪が残っていてテンション上がったな〜！みんなでモーグルバーン攻めまくって足はパンパンだったけど、かなり楽しかったです（^^）

ランチ時には小鳥も寄ってきます。

タローさんのサングラスで遊ぶアキ。（笑）午後はスノーボードパークへ！天気が良かったせいなのかパークはメッチャ混み。[:満室:]誰がどこからドロップしてくるのか分からなくて、みんなガツガツしまくり。まるでボータークロスですなこれは。。。[:ひやひや:] 下山してからはビールとチキンウィング！おいしいんですよ〜。チキンウィング。辛いのとか甘いのがあって。手羽先にホットソースをからめてある感じなのかな？去年アラスカに行った時にはいつも食べてたかも。みんなも大好きです。フリーラン楽しかった〜。やっぱりみんなでワイワイ滑るのって最高ですね。[:チョキ:]

快晴！！今日も朝早くからモービルで撮影に行ってきましたよ〜♪今回は忠＆アキ＆タロー、そしてタクミ&ショータ&ケイジの2クルーに分けて出発。天気はかなりよくていい感じ！何かできそうなところを探しまわります。

Fair skies!!

We went shooting from early in the morning. Today, we set off as two crews. Tadashi, Aki, Taro in one crew, and Takumi, Shota, Keiji in another crew.It was a very clear day and so nice.

Nice day! 晴れるかも！

と言う事で早朝に集合！忠、タクミ、ショータ、フィルマーのタローさんと自分（ケイジ）。そして腰を少し痛めて休んでいたアキ君も今日から復活！クリフや、アップ系のジャンプ、新しい地形を発見してライン系などやってきました！

2007.03.27 Tuesday

Nice day!

It looked like it was going to be sunny so we all met early in the morning.Tadashi, Takumi, Shota, Taro(filmer) and me, Keiji.Aki recovered from his back problem and joined us.We shot a cliff, and an up jump, and rode some lines and explored some new places.

人乗りでキッカーに向かうタダシとアキ。　　　　かな〜りアップ系。上から見ると壁です。…(^^;)

Tadashi and Aki rode double on a sled heading to a kicker.It was very steep like a wall. (^^;)

撮影から帰ってきたのは夜８時近く。疲れたけど楽しかったな〜[:わーい:]あしたもがんばりまーす！

We came back around eight pm. I was soooo tired but it was fun.We’ll take another go at it tomorrow!!

今日も疲れた〜拓巳です！今日は、タダシくん、タロウさん、ケイジ君、ショウタと五人でモービルで撮影に行ってきました。天気はいまいち良くなかったけど晴れ間を狙ってみんないいジャンプしてました[:嬉しい:]明日は天気がいいみたいなので朝から頑張りま〜す[:グッド:]おやすみ〜

Another exhausting day.

This is Takumi! I went shooting via sled with Tadashi, Taro, Keiji, and Shota. The weather could've been better but we managed to get a few shots when the sun peeked out. It’s going to be sunny tomorrow, and we will go shooting from early in the morning! Gotta get a good night's sleep. Good night!

ろーどぎゃっぷ ROAD GAP

フィルマーのケイジです！昨日は朝早くからビデオでも出ている有名なロードギャップポイントをチェックしてきました！メンバーはタダシ、タクミ、ショータ、フォトグラファーのマルさん、フィルマーのタロウさんと自分。

Hey it's Keiji! Yesterday, early in the morning, we went to check out the very famous road gap! The members were Tadashi, Takumi, Shota, Dice-K Maru (photographer), Taro-san (videocameraman) and me.

ランディングまでイメージする忠。 1年ぶりに来たけどやっぱデカいすね〜〜。このジャンプ…。。。ビルに例えたら何階建てくらいなんだろうな…？(^^;)今回は雪が思っていたよりも悪く天気も少し暗いので、今度またコンディションがいい時にやる事にします。帰る前にはみんなで雪玉で遠くの倒木を狙って遠投大会！[:ベースボール:]当たりそうでなかなか当たらないんですよ〜これが。みんなムキになって投げまくってました。始めに当てたタダシはみんなから[:ビール:]をゲット！元ピッチャーだけあってうまかったな〜〜ちなみにタローさんはサードでスイッチヒッターだったみたいです。 100球までは投げてないけど、もう投げすぎで肩が痛いです。結局ショータはビリになってみんなにコーヒーおごる事になりました。[:チョキ:] 今日は雨も降っていたのでオフ。忠とスケートパークで遊んできました。地下なので空気はあんまり良くないんですけど、楽しく汗かいてすっきりしたな〜！でも体はバキバキです。（笑）

Tadashi can imagine how the landing would be. We came here for the first time in a year and...the slope is really big as I was expecting... If the gap is compared to a building, the building would be how many stories?(^^;) The snow around there was bad and it was dark, so we decided to try this next time when the condition is better. Before we left this gap, we played long cast with snow balls and we tried to hit a piece of wood. It looked easy but it’s not actually. We started to get pissed off that nobody was hitting the target! Tadashi hit the target first and he got beers from everybody! He used to be a pitcher so he was good. Taro-san was 3 base and also a switch-hitter. We threw too many snoballs, like a 100 and now I have pain in my shoulder. Shota was the worst and he has to buy coffees for us. It was raining so we took the day off today and I went to the skate park with Tadashi. Since the skate park is under ground, the air is not clean but we enjoyed ourselves and broke a sweat. Now my muscles are sore.

雪ふってっどぉ〜（ウィスラー）Snowing Whistler!

今日はですね〜、ウィスラーから大体１時間ぐらい車で走ったポイントに行ってきたんですよ。やっぱりいいですね〜。違う景色を見るってことは。なんかワクワクしながらポイントを探しててね。これが楽しいんですよ。ちなみに今日の撮影内容は、自分は、ピローラインをせめて。ショータとタクミは、クリフジャンプを攻めてたかな。いい感じのジャンプだったんだこれが。んでそれから移動をして、探しまくってたんですよ〜。なかなか見つかんないんだわ、これが。なかなか大変でね〜。これを皆に教えたいよ。（でも楽しいんだよコレも）

Today, we went to a spot where it took an hour by car. It’s nice to go somewhere different. It’s so exciting searching for a nice spot. It's so much fun. Today’s agenda was to hit some pillow lines and Shota and Takumi did some awesome cliff drops. Their lines were pretty cool. After that, we moved on in search of a better place but we couldn’t find any. It’s really hard to find a nice spot, I’m telling you. I want you to know this! (Though its fun trying...)

やっほ〜ぅどもでーす！フィルマーのケイジです。今日もアキ&コニとモービルで撮影に行ってきました〜！天気は曇り空で視界はそこまで良くないけど、マッシュやピローラインで撮影してました。明るくなるのを待ってのドロップでなかなか大変。でもやれる中でいいのができたと思います。(^^)

Hey, yo!This is Keiji the filmer again.I went filming today with Aki & Koni.It was cloudy but we shot some mushroom lines and pillow lines.We had to wait for the sunlight to drop in, and it was tough but we got some nice shots despite the conditions.

In the afternoon, we looked for a place where no one had been to.We kept getting stuck again and again!

ハラへった〜〜〜！オレらもやってっどぉ〜！！３月２０日天気も良くいい感じで撮影をやってきました。こっちのメンバーは、タロさ、（ビデオカメラマン）タクちゃん、ショウちゃん、ただぼー、楽しかったよ〜！！ショウタとタクミがウケるんですよコレがまた。スノーモービルでドコまでも着いてくるんですよ。（コイツらさすが兄弟って思うね）彼らは、コレからですね！みんな映像を楽しみにしててね〜（写真もね）

I’m hungry----!We were filming too!!Yesterday, it was nice weather and we did some shooting.Our crew was Taro(video cameraman), Takumi, Shota and me(Tadashi).It was sooo much fun! Shota and Takumi are funny guys.They took forever to double up but they made it! I knew the brothers could do it. It’ll be fun to follow their carreers. Everybody, wait till you see the photos and videos! They are killing it!

よかった〜… 今日は7時半に駐車場に集合！メンバーはアキ&コニ、フォトグラファーのマルさんと自分（ケイジ）。天気もよくてテンションも上がります。(^^)

2007.03.21 Wednesday

What a relief...We gathered at the parking lot at seven thirty in the morning.The members were Aki, Koni, Maru-san, and me(Keiji).The nice weather made us high. (^^)

思っていたよりも雪が深くてでいい感じ！誰もまだ来てないのでモービルで道を作りながらやっと山頂へ到着。しかし始めに狙っていたクリフまで行く頃には、デバンやクリス・ダフィシー、サンドボックスのクルーが続々と集まってきて一気に場所取り合戦が始まります。それにしてもデバン達は早かったな…バタバタっとあっという間にいいところで撮影してました。早くこうなっていかなければ…

The snow was deep and a lot nicer than we thought.No one had come out yet so we had to make our own track to get to the top.But before we arrived to the spot that we had marked out, the other crews like Devun Walsh, Chris Dufficy and Sandbox came one after another and the “spot race” began. Devun’s crew was so fast... They shot a nice spot without wasting any time. We have to be like that...

それにしてもアキ君がドロップした後に雪崩が起きて本当にあせったなぁ…少し流されたけどケガもなく、夕方まで撮影がんばってました。[:パンチ:]

Aki did a jump and it caused an avalanche and he got carried away a little bit. I was so frightened but he wasn’t hurt at all and he continued to film until nightfall.

今日一日いろいろあったけど、みんな無事でモービルにもトラブルもなくてよかった。これが本当に大事だと実感する1日でした。お〜し！おいしいビール飲んで明日もがんばるぞ〜〜[:イケテル:]

We all came back safely and our sleds had no trouble today.I realized the immense values in this.Alright! We will kick ass tomorrow by drinking yummy beer tonight!

オフ DAY OFF

相変わらずパッとしない天気が続くウィスラーから小西がお届けします。今忠の家にいます。忠の家にはたくさんの本やdvdや珍しいスケートのデッキなど、面白いものがたくさんあります。でもテレビでは大相撲春場所が流れています。あ、鶴竜がはたき込みで勝ちました。素早い動きでした。今日はオフにしました。昨日の夜のセッションでやられたのが痛いってのもあるけど天気が悪かったんです。でも夕方にスケートをやりに行きました。地下駐車場にスケートパークがあるんです。地下っつっても地下３階ですよ。行く時に乗るエレベーターなんか秘密基地に行く感じですよ。リゾートですねー。でもそこは空気が悪いのであんまし長くいると多分病気になります。だからさくっと汗を流して帰ります。スケートのあとは地上にあるスターバックスでコーヒーを飲みます。オフの日はこんな感じで過ごしてます。明日も天気悪そうやなー。でも山行きたい！とりあえず５時起きです。

2007.03.20 Tuesday

This is Koni bringing you some news from Whistler under uninspiring weather.I’m at Tadashi’s place now. There are many books, DVDs, rare skateboard decks and some other interesting things. There's Grand Sumo tournament on TV, wow Kakuryu won by a frontal slap-down. It was quick. I took a day off today. The reasons was that my body got worked in last night's session, and the weather is bad. So I decided to go skateboarding in the evening. There is a skate park underground. “Under ground” it’s not just “Under ground” but on the third floor in the basement. We had to take the elevator to get down there, and it’s like going to a hideout. There is no fresh air so I can’t stay there for a very long time or I will get sick. So I just skate a bit and break a sweat and then take off.After I left the hideout I enjoyed coffee at Starbucks.I spend my days off like this. It seems to be bad weather tomorrow too.I want to go snowboarding!!! I’ll wake up at five o'clock am anyway with my fingers crossed!

2007.03.19 Monday

Hey, This is Keiji.I went filming with Aki & Koni with our sleds.

もしかしたら午前中晴れそうな感じだったので早めに出発！他のフィルミングクルーも早くからガソリンスタンドに集まってきます。

We thought that in the morning it would be sunny so we left the house earlier than usual!The other filming crews were also gathering around the gas stand.

しかし、山は思っていたよりも雲が多く視界も悪いので、晴れ間ち晴れ待ちの連続。。。晴れとのうまくタイミングが合わなくてむずかしかったなぁ。。。

But when we got into the backcountry, there were more crowds than I thought and the visibility was very poor. We had to wait for the sunshine to get any filming done. Timing matters. It was tough to find the right timing for filming...

夜はheart houseでアキ＆コニ、フォトグラファーのマルさん、タローさん、自分でセッションしてきました [:チョキ:]

That night, Aki & Koni, Maru-san, Taro-san and I did some sessions at the Heart House.

アキ君は50-50からのfs180,bs180をメイク！コニはwoodレールを飛び越えてからまた飛び越えたりおもしろい事にチャレンジしてました。(^^)でも飛び越えようとした最後の冊に引っかかってクラッシュ。。。危ない落ち方だったけど無事で良かった〜… ナイストライ！

Aki did a front side 180 and back side 180 from 50-50.Koni was trying to do some fun tricks like jumping over the wood rail. But he tried to jump over the last wood rail and bailed super hard.He fell dangerously but he was OK. Whew!Nice try, Koni!

どうもー昨日は、朝起きたら雪ががんがん降ってたのですが、何か出来るだろうって事でタクミ　ショータ　それに、カメラマンのマルさんにオレ(フィルマーのタロー)で家から五分位の所にモービルで撮影に行ってきました。

Hi, there! It’s Taro.(heart’s filmer)When I woke up yesterday morning, it was snowing hard so we(Takumi, Shota, Maru-san and me) thought we could do something so we went to shoot near the house by sled.

いろいろ探してマルさんがここどう？って事でタクミ　ショータでチェック。

We looked around for a spot and then Maru-san suggested one.Takumi and Shota scoped the area while we prepared for the shoot, then the snow became rain!

よし、やろうと準備してる間に雪がだんだん雨に！雪も、うすいし雨も降ってきたので軽く遊んでもうちょい体にやさしい所を探しに行こうと、もうちょい行ったらこんどは、これです！

Since it turned to rain, we went to look for another easier spot and found this place.

雨の中ビタビタなので、マルさんもオレもガンガン機材が濡れるので結構大変でした。タクミとショータもずぶ濡れになりながらも、いろいろ試しながら滑ってたので、どうにか今日も撮影が出来ました。　タクミ　ショータ　マルさん、お疲れさんでした！！

Maru-san and I were having a hard time protecting our cameras from the rain.Takumi and Shota tried some tricks although they were wet, and we were able to do some filming because of their effort.Takumi, Shota and Maru-san, you guys did a good job today!

雪がぁぁぁ〜パウダ〜！ 14cmの新雪！ワクワクしながら忠とブラッコムへ滑りに行ってきました！午後は暖かくなるとの予報だったけど、駐車場についてみるとすでに雨。『下はダメでも上の方は雪降ってるでしょ〜！』とテンション上げてリフトに乗ってみたけど、残念ながらず〜〜〜っと雨。しかも強風。雨はさすがにツラいなぁ〜〜 [:ニョロ:]せっかく雪降ったのに残念。。。まぁしょうがない。次に期待ですね！

Snow...!!!Powder!

14cm of new snow!I was so excited about going to Blackcomb with Tadashi!The weather forecast said it was getting warm in the afternoon.But when we got to the parking lot, it was already raining.We reminded ourselves that: ”It is only raining down here, up there it is snowing for sure!”　and jumped onto the lift.But unfortunately, it was raining all the way to the top!In addition, there were strong winds.The strong winds were killer.The rain spoiled the long-waited snow...That’s life. I hope we have another snow fall!

でもみんなコンディション悪いなりに楽しんで滑ってきました。(^^)

We had fun in our own way despite the bad snow.

We found this unique kid. His lift ticket is too long!Whistler kids have a lot of energy even though it’s raining.

おりゃ〜どもです〜アキ&コニ、自分（ケイジ）のクルーはまた別のポイントへ！何かできそうなところを探しまわって撮影してきました。午後は天気悪かったので、最後にモービルジャンプしたりして遊んで帰ってきました。(^^)

Yo!Hellooo.My crew (Aki & Koni and me-Keiji) went to another spot.We scoped for a place to shoot some fun tricks.The weather was getting bad in the afternoon so we played with our snowmobiles and came back. (^^)

どうもーはい！！　本日もモービルで撮影に行ってきましたー、フィルマーのタローです。メンバーは、タダシ　タクミ　ショータ　オレの４人クルーで山に上がったんですが・・・　　　　　　またまたやっちまいました！！　　今日は、長ーい坂をモービルで登ってる途中で転倒して転がって来るモービルに頭が踏まれたんですが、ヘルメットをかぶってるので助かりました。ヘルメットありがとう！その後自力で立て直ったんですが、なんとそこから無人で坂を直下ってタダシとタクミの方にあり得ない位のスピードで突っ込んでいったんですが、何と奇跡的に途中で止まりました。もし人に当たったりモービルが壊れてたらと思うと何ともなくて助かりました。怪我は、すり傷ていどだったのでラッキーでした。

2007.03.16 Friday

Wassuuuuuuup?This is Taro (filmer).Today’s members were, Tadashi, Takumi, Shota and me.We went up to the mountain and...shi*t! I fell!I bailed when I was driving up a long slope and my sled rolled down over my head! Thank God for my helmet! THANK YOU MY HELMET!After the sled hit me, the sled went down hill all by itself and ran straight toward Tadashi and Takumi with unbelievable speed.Thankfully the sled stopped before it hit Tadashi and Takumi. It was miracle!I was worried about my sled hurting my friends, or what if the sled got broken?! Luckily, nothing bad happened and my wound was only a scratch.

タダシ、タクミ、ショータともビタビタいろんなトリックを合計９本飛び本日も、かなーり極上の生ライブを見せてもらいました。モービルにひかれながらも来たかいがありました！！ありがとうライダーの３人。一日一日の生ライブがDVDになるのが本当に自分も楽しみです！！みなさん、もうしばらくお待ちください。あと、最後にデッカイ雪崩に巻き込まれた３人です。

Tadashi, Takumi and Shota did really nice tricks for a total of nine times and it was cool to see them ride in person! It was worth getting hit by my sled!! Thank you riders.I’m looking forward to editing this footage for everyone to see in our DVD!!Ladies and Gentlemen, please wait a little bit more.Thanks!! Three riders were caught in an avalanche.

いぇぃ！どもでーす。同じくハートでフィルマーやってるケイジです！今日はアキ&コニ、フォトグラファーのマルさんと撮影に行ってきましたよ〜久しぶりに冷え込んだので、ハイウェイではスピンして道路脇に落ちてる車がちらほら。通行止めやらなんかスゴかったです。天気はかなり良くていい一日になるかと思いきや、またやってしまいましたぁぁ…モービルにトラブルがありかなり凹まされました。でもマルさんやみんなに助けてもらいっていい撮影する事ができて良かったです。(^^;)

Yo! What’s up? This is Keiji the heart film’s filmer.I went shooting with Aki, Koni, and Dice-K Maru today.It had been a while since it was cold and today was a very cold day so there were some cars on the side of the highway because they had slipped on the ice.Some areas of the highway were closed. It was pretty bad. The weather was awesome so that I thought it’s going to be a great day, but... it wasn’t. My sled had trouble and I felt disappointed and sad. At the end of the day, I got a good shot with Maru-san and everybody’s help.

こんちわー HELLO! どーもー、ハートでフィルマーやってるタローです。最近ウィスラーに来て撮影＆PCに夢中です！！大体は、まず朝撮影に行って夕方帰って来てシャワー浴びて飯食って、お疲れビール飲みながらPCしてぐっすり寝る感じでやってます。今heart houseにはアキ　コニ、それに最近PCを手に入れていじくりまくってるショータ＆昨日来たばかりのタクミにオレの５人で住んでて部屋はこんな感じで楽しくやってます。

Hellooo!This is Taro the heart film’s filmer/editor.I came to Whistler and now I’m crazy about filming and my MAC!!Recently, my life consists of shooting and coming back in the evening, taking a shower, drinking some beers, do some work on my MAC, and then going to bed.In the heart house, there are Aki, Koni, Shota (who got a new MAC lately), and Takumi, who joined us yesterday and me. It’s nice and comfortable.

今日は、朝モービルのエンジンをかけようと鍵を探したら　”どこにも無い”あれ、無くしちゃった！！　また、やらかしちまった！！天気もいいのでどうしても山に上がりたかったので、車で片道40分かけてモービル屋に行き速攻で鍵を作ってもらって戻るなんて事になって出だしが遅くなってみなさんに迷惑かけてしまい反省してる現在です。すんません！それで今日は、タダシ　タクミ　ショータにバートンのカメラマンのジェフに途中参加のオレでこんな感じで

In the morning, I was about to start my sled and I couldn't find my key! Damn, I did it again!!It was so nice today so I must go up to the mountain to shoot so I went to the snow mobile shop and spent 40 min. each way (by car) to make a spare key quickly and come back. I kept everybody waiting in the beginning of the day. I’m so sorry everybody!Today’s members were Tadashi, Takumi, Shota, Jeff- (Burton’s cameraman), and me.

We rode some other places so I’m looking forward to checking my film.Filming and shooting are far from finished, so I am keeping my spirits high and enjoying everyday and the challenges that I face.

東北ツアーはい[:パー:]みんなー元気ですかー俺も元気でーすって　俺だれかってそー私　鎌潤でーす。みんなカナダで滑ってるのをブログで見てますよー楽しそうですねーいいですねーやばいですねー[:イケテル:]。話は変わるけど今東北も寒波が入り凄い雪が降ってきたよーかなりいい感じになりつつあるから明日から岩手　青森　秋田　北海道方面に行ってみようかと思う　とりあえず雪のいいとこねらいでいいのがあったらこんな顔[:楽しい:]やばいのがあったらこんな顔[:びっくり:]しながら楽しんで行って来るよー　また東北ツアーアップしまーす

Tohoku Tour! Hello everyone, how’s it going?I’m great! Who am I? Yes, it’s me! 今日のウィスラーニュース！！！ Today’s Whistler News!!! 今日はですね〜天気もイマイチだったんでゲレンデに筋トレに行きました。（ま〜楽しく滑りながら辛いとこを滑るって感じですかね！笑）メンバーは、アッキー、コニ、ショーちゃん、おいら、です。やっぱり面白いね〜。友達とフリーライディングをするのが何よりも面白い！やっぱ！サイコーっす。みなさーん日本はパウパウでしょ。楽しんでね〜。

It wasn’t good weather today so we went to the mountain to do some training...riding very hard but it was super fun.The riders were Aki, Koni, Shota and me (Tadashi).I knew it was going to be fun and it really was. Free riding with my friends is the best!There is lots of powder snow in Japan, isn’t there? I hope everyone is having fun riding pow!

This is my first time to write in the Heart Film's blog!I came back to Whistler the day before yesterday!

昨日はバックカントリーにタダシくん、アキくん、コニタン、バートンのカメラマンのジェフ　カーティス、ハートのフィルマーの太郎兄貴、刑事くんと行きました！

I went to the back country to snowmobile and snowboard with Tadashi, Aki, Koni, Jeff Curtis (Burton photographer), heart film’s filmer Taro, and Keiji yesterday.

天気は湿った雪でスノーボードしずらかったのですが、ピローラインをみんなで撮影して帰ってきました！

The snow was wet and little bit hard but we were able to shot some pillow lines.

今日はオフだったんで明日はガンバリま〜す！

Today was a day off but tomorrow, I’ll go kill it!

うぃっすら〜 WHISTLER!!! 雪だ〜！なかなか寒いです。[:ゆき:]今日は山へは上がらずに映像とかまとめてたりしてましたが、明日はちょっと滑ってこようと思ってます。

Snoooooow! It’s cold in Whistler.I didn’t go to the mountain today because I was editing parts of the film.Tomorrow, I will go snowboarding.

昨日から新作ビデオを編集するノブ君とも合流し、明日はアキ君、コニ、ショータ、フィルマーのタローさんがカナダ入りです。またにぎやかになりそう！楽しみだ〜

Yesterday Nobu joined us to help us edit the new heart film's video and Aki, Koni, Shota and Taro-the other filmer will come back to Canada tomorrow.It’s going to be a bustling town again! I can’t wait!

やほーぅ！ケイジでーす。1ヶ月ぶりにカナダに戻ってきました〜！入国審査で止められて、かなり足止めくらってました。。。2時間以上待たされてもしかしたら入れないの…？？そんな不安が頭によぎったけど、何とか審査官にハンコを押してもらえて無事入国！人もいっぱいで、面倒だから行っていいよ！みたいな感じだったな〜。（苦笑）飛行機は偶然にもフォトグラファーのマルさんやレッドアイのシブさん、中井、フミオ、ハク君などが一緒でピックリ。みんなカナダ楽しみでウズウズしてましたね。

Yee-ha! It’s Keiji!I came back to Canada after a month!I was stuck for over two hours in immigration… I was worried that I couldn’t get in to Canada, but I could!There was a huge crowd so the immigration officer gave me the look of evil and then let me through. Dice-K, Shibu from the Red eye, Nakai, Fumio, and Haku were on my plane. They were super jonesing to get back riding in Whistler!

こんにちは〜〜〜！！！！博美です＼＾o＾／最近はheartの撮影で福島の猪苗代スキー場に行って、山形に帰ったら熱をだして寝込んでました(┬┬＿┬┬) そしてやっと復活！！ってことで今日スキー場に久しぶり？に滑りに行ったら、吹雪で風がビュービューでした(￣▽￣；) 朝の血液型選手権もビリでした(−_−メ) ホントについてないみたいです(´Д`) まったく関係ないけど、明日ケータイを変えます！！明日はいいことあるといいなぁ〜〜〜(ノ゜O゜)ノこんな感じですけど、これからおもしろ情報とか撮影風景とかのせるので、みなさんよろしくで〜〜〜〜す＼＾o＾／博美でした〜〜〜。

Hellooooooo!! This is Hiromi! I went to Inawashiro, Fukushima to shoot with Heart Films. I came back to Yamagata, and I was in bed with a high fever.Now I am recovered!! I hadn't gone snowboarding in such a long time… There was a snow storm.In the morning, I checked my fortune on a TV program and mine was the worst.I should've listened to the TV because it sure wasn’t my day:( Bear no relation to this topic, I will change my cell phone tomorrow!I hope something good is going to happen tomorrow. Besides AKIHABARA, here is another report from the Moon Park Session.

このセッションは始めに設置してあったヒップを作りなおして始まりました！アイテムの形はスケートパークにあるスパインみたいな感じで、正面クォーターが2個くっついたようなイメージです。（説明ヘタでスイマセン。。。）

We remade the hip and started a session.The shape of the item was like spine at a skate park.It’s like two quarter pipes stacked.Can you imagine? Sorry for the poor explanation…

ライブ！！おっつ〜！　ただしで〜す。今日、ラフィンのライブに行ったんだ〜！やっぱりいいね〜（笑）メンバ〜は、オレ、アキ君、タローさん、アニキ、石田、大ちゃん、です。アキ君がちょ〜興奮してたなよ！！あそこにジゾー君がいたらヤバイんだろーな〜。なんか想像がつくよね（笑）良かったよ。ウィスラーに戻る前にヤバイライブが見れてマジ良かったっす！！

- ただしより - みんな元気〜ちゃんと楽しんでスノーボードしてるかい。カナダに帰る前に地元ゲレンデに行って来ました。場所は山形県米沢にある栗子スノーパークってところなんだ。今日はすごく天気も良かったからビール飲みながら滑っちゃった。サイコー!!!!ハートステッカーをみんなに張ってもらいたいから全部配っちゃった。プチハイクして山登りのおっちゃん達に会ってみんなでパーティーしてた。みんないい顔してビール飲んでた〜。

Everybody snowboarding??Before I go back to Canada, I went to the local mountain called “Crico Snowpark” at Yonezawa, Yamagata.It was a nice day of chilling and drinking beers and snowboarding. It was great!!! I gave Heart stickers away to everybody. I met some old guys who were hill climbing and had a party with them.They seemed very happy to drink beers!

どもです！ハートフィルムスでフィルマーをやっているケイジです。 2月26日から28日まで猪苗代スキー場で行われたMOON PARKかな〜り濃い内容でしたよ〜！天気にも恵まれ、忠達のアイディアでカタチになっていったパークではかなりいいセッションが出来てよかったです！ムーンパークは完成という文字はなく、アイディア次第でどんどん変化していきます。そこまで広くない空間にたくさんの面白アイテム設置。最終日は自分もカメラバックを置いて楽しんできました。個人的には5連続ジャンプが面白かったな〜！[:イケテル:] ライダーのみんなは、前の人と同じグラブをしたり、全部バックフリップしたり、かなり楽しんでたみたい。全部バックフリップはさすがに目が回るって言ってました。（笑）

moon park 02

Hey, this is Keiji - the filmer for Heart Films. The Moon Park Session held from Feb.26th to 28th at Inawashiro was a hit!We were lucky enough to have our session in good weather at the Moon Park. We finished our shoot but we hope to continue with Moon Park and add extra features and keep making our ideas into reality. It is not a big space but there are many fun items. On the last day, I put aside my camera bag and had fun riding too!I liked the feature with the five jumps in a row. It was super fun to see all the riders do a whole bunch of tricks and one up each other and hit the jump all at once. It was crazy! The riders said that their heads were spinning doing so many back-flips!

の帰りに 3日間のmoon park sesionの帰りがけに、アキ、ショータ、ヒロミで撮影してきましたが、ヒロミは足が本調子じゃないので今回はサポートしてくれました。スポットは、なぜか最近専門誌も出てる廃墟。夜はかなり怖そうな場所でしたが、昼間で天気も良くロケーションも最高！遊び上手なアキがスポットを選んでそれをアレンジして遊ぶショータでのライディングにヒロミのサポート。三人の遊び上手なライダーのおかげで今日も素晴らしいショットが撮れました。

On the way back from the Moon Park… We stopped to shoot on the way back from the Moon Park Session.Aki, Shota, and Hiromi were there. Hiromi wasn’t in her best condition so she cheered us on.The spot was a deserted house. It's a spot that would be super scary at night, but under the fine sky it was a nice place to shoot. Aki chose the spot and Shota riigged it up and Hiromi cheered! The three riders had a fun time capturing some interesting images.

猪苗代スキー場での三日間の"moon park sesion " の撮影を無事に終えました。

We just finished our 3 day shoot at “The Moon Park Session” with no problems.

今回の"moon park sesion " は、布施忠のパークのイメージとそれを形にしたbrave project、滑るheart films のライダーと撮るheart filmer,Transworld Japan＆zizo,そしてTransworld Us＆Dice-K などでの協力でかなーり素晴らしいセッションになりました。　集まったみなさんお疲れでした！！そして、DVD＆写真　乞うご期待！！！

The Moon Park Session was incredible! My Blog: A Snowboarders Dream

Its early morning, the sun is just rising over the eastern horizon… The clouds lay low, because of the soft and precious morning dew… As many lay asleep, still trying to gain strength for today's work day, here I stand on the side of an unknown and unconquered mountain top…I take a moment to sit and listen to all that is around…though silence fulfills the air, I hear things that many humans wouldn't count as hearing… I hear things like determination, skill, power, fear, vengeance, pride, and courage… And right as the sun light gently presses against my face, I am off… Soaring down the side of the mountain, go here and there… Jumping and falling off cliffs that most would fear, I take them on and perfectly land, thus continuing down the hill… Swerving to the left and right, it is like I am floating through the clouds of air, nothing can stop me from enjoying this moment… All of the sudden, an avalanche occurs, and I feel the rush of snow behind me… I decide then to head straight down to attempt to flee from the bewildering snow… Colors start to fade together and sounds become muffled as my speed increases dramatically… I see this ledge coming up, and even though I have no idea what is on the other side, I take it… Within seconds I am flying through the air, probably 100's of feet up above the ground… The avalanche is right below me, if I were to fall down right now, I wouldn't make it… But to my luck, the avalanche has made trees bend, so I head straight for them… B*ng! My board crashes against a bending tree sending wood pieces everywhere… Balance is the key to success, and like in an asian movie, I hop from tree to tree grinding my way down the mountain side… The forest has protected me and stopped the avalanche… And as I ride down the last part of the mountain side, I slow down to stop and turn on the chair lift… "Dude, where were you man? You just missed this awesome avalanche…" My buddy would say to me as we attend our jobs… And my reply would be, "Oh, just out snowboarding."…

2007/01/28 レベルストーク撮影3日目。　／　3rd Day filming in Revelstoke.

天気は快晴！今日は新しいポイントに行ってきました。朝日の中、樹氷の間を気持ちよくモービル走り抜け、撮影出来そうな場所を探します …が尾根を行けども行けども、地形がフラット。トレイルの最後は今まで見た事ないくらいの断崖絶壁で行き止まり。。。少し撮影出来たけど、今日のポイントはちょっと選択ミスでしたね。モービルデートにはオススメですけど。（苦笑）こうやって学んでいくんでしょう！明日も頑張ってきまーす

We were looking for a spot where we could film ice covered trees in the nicemorning sun except all the spots were flat. At the end of the trail there was an overhanging cliff that I had never seenbefore. We could have filmed that but we kept going. We need to learn thetrails and learn from our experiences here. We'll keep gong tomorrow!

夕暮れ撮影

先々日、ナイターにかけてバンクーバーの街をバックにライダーはタクミとショータ、スチールはジゾーでビデオ自分（タロー）で撮影してきました。ちょっと設計ミスっぽいヒップでしたが、こんな感じでした。

Shota's filps ! Nite shoot at the HEART films house.Shota flips a no foot and lands 15 feet down a sketcky icy driveway!SICK!!!

2007/01/30ハートハウスで遊んでみました。　／　We hung out at the HEART House.

ちょい前からHeart house で撮影しようってタクミ、ショータ、オレ（タロー）とで話てたので、実行してみまた！! 前の日バンクーバーで夜の撮影した次の日だったので、昼のうちにゆっくり段取りして夜に撮影開始。この日は、カメラマンのジゾーとYuho（参加差し入れピザありがとう）！！寒い中ご苦労さんです。

TAROSAN - FilmerI planned to shoot Takumi and Shota in front of the HEART House since wemoved in and finally we were able to set everything up. Last night we filmed in Vancouver at GROUSE Mt. so we spent the day preppingthe site so we can have a night shoot. Today we had two photographers, ZIZO and Yuho. (Thanks for the PIZZA!) Thanks for shooting despite the cold!

タクミ、ショータとも狙う所が違うので交互にスタート。ショータは、木の手すりからドロップ。しかも、2回で、凄い！！

Takumi and Shota were hitting 2 different spots. Shota was trying a no footflip down a 15ft icy driveway and Takumi was trying a gap to wooden handrailto dropping onto the same icy landing! Shota landed his knarly trick. Itwas SICK!!!

これがその瞬間です！！This is the sick shot! 次のタクミは、ジュンプ台からジャンプして木の手すりを走り下の雪のバンクに降りる感じです。しかも、ジャンプと手すりの間が結構離れてました。これは、ハイスピードで細い手すりに乗るので攻めるのはかなりのピンポイントです。

こんな感じで第一回Heart house 撮影会終了。また、第二回Heart house撮影会を企むのでよろしくです。

Next Takumi gapped 12ft onto a sketchy wooden rail 15ft above a flat icydriveway. The gap was knarly for he needed to hike up into the woods andride down an icy path through the woods to get enough speed to gap onto thewooden rail. Check out the footage in HEART FILMS vol. 2! www.heartfilms.com

2007/01/30レベルストーク4日目。　／　4th Day Filming at Revelstoke

コニシです。今日は天気が悪かったー。ので山に上がるのはやめて久々のオフー。のはずがジブやってました。宿から３０秒のとこにええのがあったんです。当て込んだり、ジャンプしたりおもろい事してました。ケイジです。今日は庭でみんなでアイディア出しながら撮影してました。コニは『恥ずかし固め』されてました。[:イヒヒ:]映像にも残っているのでお楽しみに！_____________________________________________________________________________

This is Kony! The conditions were not too good today:( We thought we would take the dayoff but we found a super fun jib 30 seconds from our hotel so we had funjibbing that. This is Keiji. We filmed a lot of miscellaneous items from the junk yard. Kony had somepretty strange balancing acts and it was pretty funny. [:イヒヒ:] Check it out inHEART Films vol. 2!

2007/01/31レベルストーク最終日！　／　The last day filming in Revelstoke.

今日はスノーモービラー（スノーモービルでジャンプしたりするヤバい人）達から教えてもらった新しいポイントに撮影行ってきました〜ハイウェイを渡りトレイルに入っていくんですけど山頂までの道のりが遠い遠い…バンプ（ボーダークロスのウェーブみたいなもの）が始めから永遠と続いていて本当に運転が大変なんです。。。根性根性、もう部活ノリです。[:ニョロ:] モービルで撮影しにいくと1日でだいたい100km近く走ってます。今日はライン系やクリフジャンプなどで撮影してきました。撮影から宿に戻り、速攻でパッキングしてウィスラーに向けて出発。忠と自分の2人は寝ずに10時間かけてウィスラーへ帰ってきました。到着したのは早朝の4時過ぎ。長かったぁぁ〜…本当に長かったなぁぁ〜睡魔と幻覚に戦い、ナチュラルハイでおかしくなってました。 5日蓮続撮影してそのまま10時間ドライブ。。。アラスカの時もそうでしたが、やっぱり忠は鉄人です。超タフ。運転お疲れさまでした。今回のロードトリップはオフなしでみんな頑張って走りきりましたね。毎日発見があるし、スゴく刺激的でした。ロブ、コーディー、デイブ、モービルを貸してくれたナターシャありがとう。_______________________________________________________________________

The last day filming in Revelstoke. Today we checked out a spot that the sled necks were jumping with theirsleds. It was pretty COOL. We had to cross the highway and continue on thetrail forever! It was super far to the top of the mountain. The trails were crazy bumpy all the way and it was torture! It was a SBXfor sleds. We pushed on harder and harder...It was like we were in atraining club![:ニョロ:] We usually ride about 100km with our sleds to film. Today we filmed a cliff. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, Tadashi decided to leave Revelstokeasap. Keiji and Tadashi drove non stop and made it into Whistler 4 in the morning.They drove for 10 hours! Too long!!! They endured and stayed awake. They kept hallucinating and were on anatural high that made both of them think they were going CRAZY. Non stop filming for 5 days in super hard sledding conditions to a non stop10 hour drive...TADASHI is a super tough guy...MEGA TOUGH! It reminded usof our Alaska Trip last season...CHECK IT OUT in Heart Films vol. 1. Thanks for driving and getting everyone home safely, Tadashi!!! Our road trip was a success. Despite our non stop schedule, we discovered alot of new terrain and everyday was super exciting! ROB, GORDIE, DAVE...We appreciate your help!!! My Blog: Great season

Well this has been one hell of a great season. It is definitely one of the best since I got addicted to riding way back.

Highlights have included but not limited to: deer jumping over the car, screwing my knee up at the beginning of the season that in order to ride I had to get way better at switch, wish I woulda done that sooner in life. Going on a trip for New Years and well getting locked outta hotel rooms and other drunken madness. Cleared my first 70+ foot table. Breaking 2 boards this season... both snapped at the nose. Locking the keys in the car at 3 am going to Jasper... left the car running and barely made it there... car chugged into the gas station. Damn near smoking a moose on the way to Red. Have definitely come to the conclusion that Sunshine Village is cursed. Broken 4 boards in 3 seasons.... all of which were at that hill. What the f*ck? Other than that what a great season. Progressed a lot, laughed a lot and well what else is snowboarding for. Can't wait till the Whistler trip this summer and definitely around September when it starts snowing in the mountains again and I can go hike for my turns again. I think I have to move somewhere where there is a perpetual season. I cannot stand not being able to ride whenever I want

Snowboard News: CHILD SUPPORT Filming Update May 7, 2007

The Child Support crew just got back from a great park shoot at Sierra and Squaw Valley. The first week we were down there was nothing but cloudy days and messy hotel rooms. Week two broke with beautiful sunny skies and a lot of jumping. Markku Koski pulled his shoulder out of socket twice and got a concussion but still managed to "Finnish" the park shoot with some really good stuff before going back to Finland. There was a ton of good landed stuff that went down at the park shoots and thanks to Sierra at Tahoe and Squaw valley for all the help and effort with the shoots. On one of the down days Jimmy Halopoff was nice enough to host a barbeque at his house and we skated his ramp. We dared Fredu to hit the rope swing into the 3-foot deep freezing pond beside Jimmy's ramp. Fredu was up for it and did the sketchiest rope swing into water that we ever saw. He was supposed to get 40 bucks for his efforts but Ilari had to spend the money on new pants. We are now back in Whistler doing some spring backcountry for the next month. We ain't stopping yet.

Hey i dont care what kind of music u like, go to that band, rapper, f*ckin anything's show. when u see ur favorite band play live the energy u get from hearing them and jumping around and just doing ur thing is amazing. u get a rush from it and if u dont believe me, go jump into a mosh at an As I Lay Dying concert and then tell me what u feel. anyway, concerts, support the bands by goin to see them live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
