Pushing for Perfection

Hey Jibbers and Jumpers,
The past couple of weeks in The Parks have been really exciting times for everyone. We've seen lots of sun and snow. Our Parks are now pretty much built to capacity, giving our teams the opportunity to really pimp out our features. We've been switching rails and jumps in and out to keep things fresh. Both mountains are changing daily. The Showcase Showdown this year was a huge success. Big shout out to Brad Broughton from the shop, and his team of volunteers for their help with design and building. The Atomic Supercross is this weekend; results to come.

On Blackcomb
- The Snowcross track has a new line this year that everyone should check it out. The course is open daily.
- The Highest Level, and Choker lines are riding perfectly every day, the lines are dialed right in nicely. The Highest Level is rounded out at the bottom by a massive re-entry platform with an Up-Rail to Wallride. The Choker line finishes with an awesome Quarter Pipe that is Zaugged daily.

On Whistler
- The Bobcat line (right side of the park) has been filled out with an A-frame rail combo, a couple more jumps, and tweaks to the other jibs.
- The Chipmunk line is fully built out as well, with a couple new jumps, and changes to the jib lines Park Events
- The next King of the Rail comp is going to be March 21st. This is event is the last KOR of the season, and may even be moved to the base of Whistler (next to the GLC) this time. So make sure you register
- The following day (March 22nd), will be the Park Rider Series Slopestyle, on Whistler Mountain. The course will be on Whistler's Bobcat line (right side of park). All levels of riders and skiers are welcome so come on up, and ride in this fun event

See you all up here!
- James Sayers

Ok, let's just get down to nitty gritty (or as gritty as I can get): I've been watching horrible movies lately. So, here's my reviews of  horrible movies that you should avoid at all cost, unless suicide is on your top list or you are just really bored. But if you're that bored to watch this mindless pap, you should consider if you really have anything to live for. I kid, I kid. A little.

I will say that just because these movies are horrible, this does not mean I didn't like some of them...just a note...

JUMPER

Jumper is not really a serious, feature film. It barely qualifies as a film. But I enjoyed it, for all it's flaws. It's the kind of movie you watch at 2 AM on TNT when you're up on a boring Friday in April. Bonus points for Samuel L. Jackson, who amazingly is not tired of playing The Angry Black Man in every movie, and for that wooden actor from Star Wars, for doing something different in every film (but yet always acting the same.)

Grade: C-

THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES

I'm not a fantasy. Yeah, I read Lord of the Rings, but I skipped many parts of the book (mostly boring elven songs). I do like the Hobbit. Best fantasy book ever written. But this movie? Nah.

Three things I can't stand in films: kids saving the world, divorce sub-plot, and the always tiresome situation that I call the "But I Swear!" cliche'. How does this work? You know in every movie where a kid sees something and nobody believes him, and he spends the whole movie trying to prove it but stuff keeps getting in the way? Some call that "delayed tension", I call this "annoying boredom."

Spiderwick has all three of these, plus ridiculous fantasy elements that are too scary for young children, and too goofy for everyone else. I should have watched Step Up 2 the Streets instead. At least there's dancing, and the fantasy is funner anyway.

My Grade: D

MR. MAGORIUM'S WONDER EMPORIUM

One word: dreadful.

Only watch it if you enjoy getting kicked in the head repeatedly and spit on by tobacco chewers.

My Grade: F

The level of skill being displayed in all of the Whistler Blackcomb Parks is astonishing these days. The progression we are seeing in athletes is at light speed and tricks formerly reserved for the rare mutants are now being thrown with ease by local kids skipping school to ski and ride. (Don’t skip school!) This week I witnessed 16-year-olds throwing double back flips, 19-year-olds spinning corked 10s and a 4-year-old slide a four foot round bar. This progression has pushed the Park crew to step up and create the best possible playground for these athletes and then work backwards to ensure we have a smooth progression. The bar is being set high for the next generation and we are doing our best to evolve at the same rate.

The Parks all got new set-ups this week, some even seeing changes daily. On Whistler Mountain we changed up the top section to include a new barrel bonk in addition to the stump jibs as well as freshening up Bobcat with a never-been-tired-before combo box with a quad kink. There are also new jump styles on Chipmunk and two “Skate Style” spines with log and metal coping for every transfer trick imaginable.

The Choker Park saw the addition of the Quicksilver and Nintendo boxes set up in series as mellow up-boxes as well as the addition of a mini shack booter style step over jump. The Superpipe rebuild has resulted in the best pipe I have ridden in a long time and special props go out to Andy Morrison for his epic 17 hour shift grooming the pipe se we can all rip it this week!

The Terrain Garden continues to be one of the busiest parks with hordes of newbie riders getting their legs on the small jumps, mini spine, boxes and rails offered up in this line. We are hoping to add a few more basic flat boxes to the mix so trick development can progress here too.

The HL Park has basically been split into Lucas Land’s rail line for metal grinders and the main park for jumpers. The left line continues to be the BIG XL line while the right side offers up the L / XL multi-takeoff options.

If you have not been up in the parks yet this year, you are missing out! Don’t wait to see it in next year’s vids, come on up today.

The Sofa Store,

Walking down the main street of wick was a small 12 inch high lepoard he was wearing a green jumper, blue trousers, a shiney pink jackey, a human sized glove on his head and a peace symbol around his neck, he was half way down the street when he came across a shop that sold sofas, There was a massive sign in the window that said half of for anyone over the age of 90, he though "well im 89 i could pass as 90" so he went up to the clerk who was a 6 foot tall giraff wearing a kilt and a balaclava, the lepoard squinted at the giraff and the giraff squinted at the leporad the said in unisun "What the f*ck are you?" the lepoard says "aren't you supposed to be a human" and the giraff said "well i was once but i met this man at the bingo that said that for a tenner he could turn me into any animal i wanted, so without thinking about the consequences i siad "ok i wanna be a giraff" and then poof i was a giraff i was so amazed I started running about when i got back to where the man was he was gone i though oh shi*t how will i get back to being a human, and then i noticed that the tenner was still on the table so it was a win win situation. The lepoard look at him like he wanted to say nigga is yo crazy?, then said "that still does'nt explain how you came to get a job in a sofa store or why you're wearing that ridiculos get-up". Well that was the hard part everybody took some convinsing that i was me, i was about to get ran out of town when i had an ingeneous idea. I decided to break into my house, go into my wardrobe and get out last years halloween costume, so i got it and went into the back garden and put it on, which by the way wasn't an easy task without any apposable thumbs, i put it on and started dancing a dance that i had done at the same halloween party i had worn the costume to, my wife looked out the window and realised it was me, "so i wear this ridiculos  get - up as you so bluntly put it so people know its me. The lepoard looked at the giraff and said "i only came in to buy a sofa at half price and i have just had the single most wierdest day of my life" and i hope by reading this story you have too!

Hey everyone.I was reading SBC(Snowboard Canada Magazine) and it was the buyers guide 2007 issue. They had this huge section about Mikey Rencz(p 165).In that section they have a page called "The Mikey Rencz-ionary"(p168) wich explained words that Mikey would say and there meaning.I said "If he can have one,why can't I.I have an odd way off talking too!" So enjoy my dictionary(No,It isn't in alphabetical order, how much time do you thing i have on my hands!):

History of Ninja:Who doesn't like ninjas! There just perfect in every way!

History of McDipcrack:My friend clames that all McDonalds hammburgers are dipped in crack before there surved to you,so the name McDipcrack was made to poke fun at my friend and his retardedness.I guess it just sticks cuz i basically stoped saying McDonalds after that.

The eagerly anticipated Think Thank Patchwork Patterns premier took place in
Seattle, WA last week not in the usual club, but at evo, a local shop catering to
fashion heads, snowboarders and skiers.

I was assigned to work as a "bouncer" with fellow tough-looking guy Tre Dauenhauer
(sound it out--it's fun!) checking IDs as people were walking in. At first there
was a small line and then the line suddenly wrapped around the corner of a
building next door. The people in line were mostly patient, but excited to get in.
For a local snowboard film studio this was a huge turn-out. I saw so many
different types of IDs from all over the States and Canada. One kid tried to bribe
me. I didn't take the money. In addition to looking at IDs I had to put Tyvek
drink bracelets on everyone before they went in. People were stoked for the free
beer. Always a crowd will assemble for free alcohol, oh, and a great movie.

The temperature was dropping as we stood outside checking people in and selling
tickets. Meanwhile, the temp was heating up inside. The crowd's attention was
captivated by a one and two man band called Rawbeats. Although I didn't see this
first hand because I was outside checking IDs I learned that the two drummers
positioned themselves facing each other and both of them exchanged fire with the
bass beat in the background. Later just one of the members drummed to favorite pop
hits such as Kanye's Jesus Walks. I felt an energy in the crowd that they might
bust out dancing at any moment, but sadly no rave ensued, however one could have.
I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for more Rawbeats appearances.

Patchwork Patterns turned out to be a crowd favorite with cheers rising from the
audience when their favorite riders appeared or stunts of amazement were
performed. The Seattle flavor mixed into the backdrop of the movie from the
opening Aurora Bridge (aka Jumper's Bridge) credits to Mt. Baker footage. The Northwest appeal was all over the film. Perhaps my favorite sight of the night was a huge orange and white traffic cone made out of construction paper and spraypaint that represented a
common theme throughout the entire movie and the party.

If it wasn't enough to have a large-scale movie premier in our place Spacecraft
also put together an exhibit of their infamous sticker sheets, artwork, and
photography. As usual, gallery on-lookers loved the Spacecraft flare and by the
end of the night I had one of the stickers on my shirt courtesy of Erich Kunz (it
was his sticker...he's into shameless self-promotion). The elusive Spacecraft
bunny made an appearance which could have been a bad thing considering the amount
of brew and ensuing uninhibited behavior. Nothing happened that endangered the
bunny as far as I could tell and he/she left in once piece--no stolen bunny heads
that night fortunately.

The last time I saw that many people at evo was the grand opening party we did
with Talib Kweli. The turn out incredible and people left with party favors. Lib
Tech kicked down a pair of N.A.S as well as non-N.A.S. After the movie people
trickled out with smiles on their faces and a new found desire for fresh air and
the cool breezes of a Seattle fall. One guy tried to pry open our Red Bull cooler
to swipe some free energy, but I quickly thwarted his plans. The 6 kegs of beer
and drink bracelets eventually ran out and with that about 70% of the crowd went
with it. I left around 1 A.M. with the place still buzzing with energy and
impromptu breakdance sessions.

My voice was gone and throat was killing me. No doubt I was getting sick as I usually do with the changing of the seasons. However, what comforted me was the site of stoked guests in our store and the comraderie that comes with pulling off the improbable.

Him and her
Life is turned.
The day I knew you would leave
I can barely breath
Can you hear me scream

O-o-o thrown in all directions
You epitome of perfection
Shes lost her will,
Time is standing still

He walks, her, home
Now he walks alone
The days they turn into years
The eyes they drown in tears

Can you hear me scream

The way we are the way they were
(its just a shadow of whats wrong)
The time with you the time is stirred
(I love you for , so long)
The hearts they turn, they turn away
(she says to go please dont you cry)
Love lost was found, night turns to day

Time is standing still

Hey Crew
Well tonight is Flowrider night at Dreamworld (i promise to get some pics tonight) again it keeps coming around to quickly. And it is the only thing that is saving me from the shi*thouse snow dilhemma that i am faced with everyday.
We went to a Mini Moto event yesterday down in Ballina. It was heaps of fun other than the fact i had only an 1hr of sleep before having to do a massive day. We didn't sell any parts but met heaps of cool crew and made some new friends in our young industry...
The boys from Heresy Snowboards are in Jindy this week I should have been with them but i just can't justify being there when the snow is still resonably crap. I know i'm missing the good times in the pub and out and about in Jindy but i promise to make up for it as soon as i do get back down there.
On that front we still have heaps of thermal lined jumpers and stuff so let me know if your kit is still lacking. I hope you all saw my new ride from Heresy its a beast customed up just for me. I feel so special and you can too we are still taking orders and shipping custom snowboards as well so let me know if your keen.
Picture Wheel Co is a new company from Qld that i'm working with. They make Skateboard Wheels and clothing and are already paying their team riders wages to skate the whole idea about the company stokes me so i'm repping for them in Qld & NSW.
The surf in this part of the world has been pretty good of late so if it doesn't snow this week i think i'll be holding off until August for a trip down south.
I'm encouraging everyone to do their own version of the snowdance every hour on the hour until it pukes...
Cheers

Always- Blink 182
I've been here before a few times
And I'm quite aware we're dying
And your hands they shake with goodbyes
And I'll take you back if you'd have me
So here I am
I'm trying
So here I am
Are you ready

Come on let me hold you
Touch you
Feel you
Always
Kiss you taste you all night
Always

And I'll miss your laugh your smile
I'll admit I'm wrong if you'd tell me
I'm so sick of fights
I hate them
Lets start this again for real

I've Got A Dark Alley And A Bad Idea That Says
You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song)- Fall Out Boy

(Summer Song)

Joke me something awful just like kisses on the necks of "just friends"
We're the kids who feel like dead ends
And I want to be known for my hits, not just my misses
I took a shot and didn't even come close
At trust and love and hope
And the poets are just kids who didn't make it
Who never had it at all

And the record won't stop skipping
And the lies just won't stop slipping
And besides my reputation's on the line
We can fake it for the airwaves
Force our smiles, baby, half dead
From comparing myself to everyone else around me

Please put the doctor on the phone because I'm not making any sense
Blame everyone but me for this mess
And my back has been breaking from this heavy heart
We never seemed so far
I'm hopelessly hopeful, that you're just hopeless enough
But we never had it at all

Skeptics and True Beleivers- The Academy is..

Don't be so scared we will not lead you on
like you've been doing for weeks.
You're selfish, and I'm sorry
When I'm gone you'll be going nowhere fast, nowhere fast, nowhere fast.

Would you believe me if I said I didn't need you?
Cause I wouldn't believe you if you said the same to me,
Near death, last breath, and barely hanging on.
Would you believe me if I said I didn't need you?

Don't be so scared to take a second for reflection,
to take a leave of absence to see what you're made of.
So I'm selfish and you're sorry.
When I'm gone you'll be going nowhere fast.
So who's selfish and who's sorry?

Would you believe me if I said I didn't need you?
Cause I wouldn't believe you if you said the same to me,
Near death, last breath, and barely hanging on.
Would you believe me if I said I didn't need you?

Someone somewhere said somethings that may have sparked some sympathy,
but don't believe, don't believe a word you heard about me.

Don't be so scared, it's harder for me. Don't be so scared.
Don't be so scared, it's harder for me.
Don't be so scared, it's harder for me.
Don't be so scared, it's harder for me. Don't be so scared.

Would you believe me if I said I didn't need you?
Cause I wouldn't believe you if you said the same to me,
Near death, last breath, and barely hanging on.
Would you believe me if I said I didn't need you?

Someone somewhere said somethings that may have sparked some sympathy,
but don't believe, don't believe a word you heard.

Would you believe me if I said I didn't need you?
Cause I wouldn't believe you, wouldn't believe you now.

WHISTLER, Canada – July 1, 2006 – It may have been Canada Day, but it was the Aussies who ruled this year’s Red Bull Elevation in Whistler, BC. Corey Bohan of Brisbane, Australia took home the title, with fellow countryman Luke Parslow and defending champion Ryan Nyquist of the U.S. anchoring the podium, finishing second and third respectively.

Widely regarded as the world’s best BMX dirt-jumping competition, this year’s edition featured 40 of the top riders soaring over massive discipline-defining jumps. When the dust settled after Friday’s qualifying round, 20 riders had an opportunity to take home the title.

Ultimately it was Bohan, the first BMX dirt rider to win back-to-back X Games gold medals, who produced a killer combination of sublime technicality and huge tricks in his trademark style. The number one qualifier after Friday, Bohan delivered on his ranking’s promise in the event’s final run, hitting a downside whizzy over the hip, no-handed opposite 360, and an epic last jump featuring a one-handed table-top 360.

“To be on the podium with Nyquist and Parslow is amazing, I’ll ride with those guys all day, every day,” said Bohan. “I was a bit nervous on the way things were going, but pulled it together and I’m already looking forward to next year.”

Looking to repeat his stellar performance in 2005, Nyquist started with a solid run but fell on his second. His throw-away run spent, Nyquist finished strong, throwing down a solid 720 on his third run, and laying it all on the line on his fourth, delivering a combination of 360’s and a backflip one-handed X-up.

“People were laying it on the line and doing wild stuff, so I’m happy with any kind of podium finish. Compared to last year, the level of riding was way higher,” said Nyquist. “The setting was beautiful. It’s Canada Day and there were so many people out to watch. You really can’t have a better place to have a contest.”

Parslow delivered arguably the most impressive jumps of the day, including a combination featuring a back flip on the step down bar into a huge front flip. Dane Searls, also of Australia, emerged as one of the weekend’s stars by winning best trick, a double tail-whip over the big set of double jumps.

Added Searls: “I didn’t expect to win so I’m psyched. I knew what I wanted to do, I’m just glad I pulled it off. Best competition I’ve ridden so far. The biggest jumps, the best riders, everyone’s just so pumped to be here.”

Building on the success of last year’s Red Bull Elevation, BMX icon Jay Miron applied his decades of experience to create an even more challenging and immense course, answering the call of the world’s best riders to go bigger and continue being progressive. Jumps were larger across the board, with the most substantial an enormous 40-footer, and the third largest jump bigger than any in 2005.  In between, the course included every element of trail riding, from transfers to rhythm sections to showtime booters.

Ripping the course was the strongest field ever compiled for a dirt-jumping contest, an invitation-only list that also included last year’s best trick winner James Foster of America, World Dirt Jumping Champion Kye Forte of Great Britain, and perhaps the world’s best freestyle mountain biker, Darren Berrecloth of Parksville, BC.

The riders competed for a $30,000 prize purse, with Bohan taking home $10,000. All three podium finishers were awarded a custom trophy featuring an iron, dirt-loading Tonka Truck. A panel of veteran judges, including Ryan “Biz” Jordan, Matt Beringer, and Dave Osato evaluated riders on height, style, smoothness and tricks.

Cheering on the riders were 10,000 BMX and Canada-loving fans, with red-and-white flags dotting the Red Bull Elevation course and crowd.

The competition began with practice on Thursday, June 29, qualifying on Friday (reducing the field from 40 to 20 riders) and concluded with the finals on Saturday, July 1. For more information, pictures and video please visit our website at www.redbullelevation.com

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Kobe Bryant kept shooting, from all over the court and from every angle.

The Los Angeles Lakers' star scored a staggering 81 points Sunday night against the Toronto Raptors in a 122-104 win. Only Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game stands ahead of him.

"It just happened, man" Bryant said. "It really hasn't, like, set in for me. It's about the 'W,' that's why I turned it on. It turned into something special.

"To sit here and say I grasp what happened, that would be lying. Not even in my dreams."

The NBA's leading scorer left to a standing ovation with 4.2 seconds remaining, having shot 28-of-46 from the floor, including 7-of-13 from 3-point range and 18-of-20 from the foul line.

With the fans at Staples Center chanting "MVP! MVP!" Bryant made two free throws with 43.4 seconds remaining for his final points. He scored 27 points in the third quarter, 28 in the fourth.

"It feels great to put on a great show here," he said.

Chamberlain scored 100 points for Philadelphia against the New York Knicks at Hershey, Pa., on March 2, 1962, making 36-of-63 from the field and 28-of-32 from the foul line while playing all 48 minutes.

Chamberlain had 59 points in the second half - the only player with more points in a half than Bryant's 55 after halftime in this game.

Chamberlain's second-highest total was 78 against the Lakers in three overtimes on Dec. 8, 1961.

Elgin Baylor held the previous franchise record of 71 points at New York on Nov. 15, 1960. Lakers assistant Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the NBA's all-time leading scorer, saw that game, too.

"Elgin's game was an incredible performance, also. I don't think there's any comparison. Elgin did it without 3-point lines. His game was attacking the hoop and hitting jumpers inside 20 feet. Kobe's range is unreal, and he does it his way," Abdul-Jabbar said.

"It was a real treat. His ability to shoot from long range and also attack the hoop, split the defense and get in close for opportunities near the basket is unique. He's made a niche for himself and he deserves it."

Michael Jordan's career high was 69 points, and only four players had ever scored more than 70 - Chamberlain, Baylor, David Thompson and David Robinson.

The 27-year-old Bryant made it five. His previous career high was 62 points during a 112-90 victory over Dallas last month - he sat out the fourth quarter because of the one-sided nature of the game.

"I was just determined. I was just locked in, tuned into what was going on out there," Bryant said. "These points tonight mattered. We needed them. The points I put in the basket were instrumental. It means a lot more."

Bryant raised his scoring average to an NBA-leading 35.9 points this season.

"I never imagined I would see history like that," said Devean George, a teammate of Bryant's with the Lakers for 6 1/2 seasons. "I can't tell you where that came from. He just kept attacking, attacking, attacking - every time he got the ball."

Bryant played nearly 42 minutes, going the entire second half until being lifted by coach Phil Jackson.

Jackson coached Jordan and the Chicago Bulls to six championships in the 1990s and the Lakers, with Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal, to three more titles, from 2000-02.

"That was something to behold," Jackson said. "It was another level. I've seen some remarkable games, but I've never seen one like that before."

Bryant's performance came on the same night the NBA had its highest-scoring game in 11 years when Seattle beat Phoenix 152-149 in two overtimes. The last 300-point game in the league came when Dallas beat Houston 156-147 in two overtimes on April 11, 1995, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

"You're sitting and watching, and it's like a miracle unfolding in front of your eyes and you can't accept it," Lakers owner Jerry Buss said. "Somehow, the brain won't work. The easiest way to look at it is everybody remembers every 50-point game they ever saw. He had 55 in the second half."

Lamar Odom's 3-pointer with 7:04 remaining gave the Lakers a 100-93 lead, and Bryant scored 30 seconds later to give him 61 points and his team a nine-point advantage. The Raptors didn't pose a serious threat after that.

Bryant scored all but 15 of the Lakers' 42 points in the third quarter, shooting 11-of-15 including 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Six of his points came during a 12-0 run to finish the period, giving Los Angeles a 91-85 lead.

The Lakers outscored the Raptors 38-14 to finish the third quarter to go ahead for good. They trailed by as many as 18 points early in the period, angering Bryant.

"He was ticked off," Odom said.

When asked what Bryant said at that stage, Odom replied: "Nothing. That's when it's bad."

Bryant scored 51 points after the Raptors took a 71-53 lead. It was 63-49 at halftime.

"The thing about him that is most amazing is that he is relentless," Raptors coach Sam Mitchell said. "We played man-to-man, box-in-one and zone. We tried to put smaller guys on him to deny him the ball.

"I saw that game he had against Dallas where he scored 62, what more can you say?"

Smush Parker added 13 points and Chris Mihm had 12 points and six rebounds for the Lakers.

Mike James led Toronto with 26 points and 10 assists. Chris Bosh added 18 points and eight rebounds and Jalen Rose scored 17 points for the Raptors.

Notes

Bryant scored a season-low 11 points in the Lakers' 102-91 victory over the Raptors in Toronto last month. He had 14 in the first quarter of this game. ... Bryant has led the Lakers in scoring in the last 21 games in which he's played. He entered with an NBA-leading 34.8-point average, and is averaging 45.5 points in 10 games since sitting out a two-game suspension. ... Toronto C Rafael Araujo, who has made 30 starts this season, missed his second straight game and third of the season because of a sore right shoulder. ... Bryant made his first five foul shots before missing late in the second quarter, snapping his streak of consecutive made free throws at 62. Michael Williams made an NBA-record 93 straight for Minnesota in 1993. ... Bryant received a technical foul with 10:44 left - shortly after being accidentally struck above the right eye.

I'm very proud to be British because... Only in Britain... can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance. Only in Britain... do supermarkets make sick people walk all the way to the back of the shop to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front. Only in Britain... do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a DIET coke. Only in Britain... do banks leave both doors open and chain the pens to the counters. Only in Britain... do we leave cars worth thousands of pounds on the drive and lock our junk and cheap lawn mower in the garage. Only in Britain... do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want. Only in Britain... are there disabled parking places in front of an ice skating rink. NOT TO MENTION... 3 Brits die each year testing if a 9v battery works on their tongue. 142 Brits were injured in 1999 by not removing all pins from new shirts. 58 Brits are injured each year by using sharp knives instead of screwdrivers. 31 Brits have died since 1996 by watering their Christmas tree while the fairy lights were plugged in. hahaha 19 Brits have died in the last 3 years believing that Christmas decorations were chocolate. British Hospitals reported 4 broken arms last year after cracker pulling accidents. 101 people since 1999 have had broken parts of plastic toys pulled out of the soles of their feet. 18 Brits had serious burns in 2000 trying on a jumper with a lit cigarette in their mouth. A massive 543 Brits were admitted to A&E in the last two years after opening bottles of beer with their teeth. 5 Brits were injured last year in accidents involving 'out of control' Scalextric cars. And finally......... In 2000 eight Brits cracked their skull whilst throwing up into the toilet. RULE BRITANNIA!!

Usually it's about 35 or 40 degrees at this time of year,a nd we're all sweating it out in singlets and shorts but isntead I have long boots long pants and big jumpers on. it's great. I love it so much. I just wish I could ski... because whilst there is snow, there's just not enough of it to ski on! (not to mention it's 4 hours away, and by the time I got there it would probably start raining and wash away!). I can't wait for winter

I write songs cause I luv 2 not cause I have 2
Without music I don’t know wat id do
Nows that the straight truth
Ive been fukkin with this since bak in my youth
Writin rhymes buyin cds listenin to hooks
Was never much for skool books,
lil white girl growin up in the boroughs
in my lil pink jumper lookin all thorough
on the real I neva tasted ghetto
but seems that’s the motto,
a prereq to hip hop success,
no wonder this world is such a fukkin mess,
u got kids buyin albums from a convicted felon,
a murderer admitting bein shot in the melon,
9 times-its obvious least once he clapped bak,
I aint sayin im perfect but rite bout now im on the attack,
Dropping some knowledge spittin some common sense,
All these artist sellin albums but based on wat pretense?
chek it if I was bucktooth’s moms 187,
All I got is a prayer that jesus sort it out in heaven,
Cause downhere everytim she turn on the tv,
All she see-is her sons reeper makin millions- scott free,
This is the American dream-its all about cream,
There aint no justice don’t matter if u innocent or guilty,
Aslong u a celebrity-in America u get treated like royalty,
Murdering millionaires like hov, oj and fity,
Now we all responsible state 2 state town 2 town,
we reep wat we sow but sooner or later it all falls down…
