Teenage Love Graffiti

Hello everybody, it’s time for a new O2 Blog. As I told you in the last Blog, I was going to an North American EastCoast Trip with Isenseven for 3 weeks in february. We were a pretty big and good mixed crew of 6 Riders, one Filmer and one Photographer and our idea was to rent two RV in New Jersey and drive up the whole Eastcoast up to Montreal and stop at some areas to do some Urban riding or whatever we find to hit with the snowboard. So after our long journey from Europe we started our trip with holidays, left our boardbags closed and spent 3 days in New York. Our Isenseven „Daddy“ and Filmer Vincent was the only guy of our crew who has been to this amazenig city before and he showed us around... the time in New York was great, we spent our time on top of the Rockafeller Cemter, Times Square, in crazy good Night Clubs and Gay Bars, visited a OK GO Concert, ate good food and spent a lot of money for new clothes... I took a few pictures with my O2 Nokia N95 cellphone for you. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket After the 3 days in New York we where a little bit sad to leave this great place but also excited for the next chapters our trip will bring. So we drove to New Jersey to get our rented RV’s, went to the Grocery Store to buy a lot of food and booze Photobucket And drove 6 hours up to our first destination Burlington, we had pretty good luck with the snow because as soon as we arrived it was dumping very hard and it was getting colder. Our American Rider in the crew Travis Limogue who used to live in Burlington showed us around and we got pretty sweet stuff done... and even delicious self-made hot dogs Photobucket Photobucket After a few days we continued driving and went up to Montpellier a small town one our away from the canadian border, there we visited some friends in the Rome Office, the Sugarbush Mountain Resort and some other guys who gave us some information about Rails and Urban Stuff, but we just spent less time in Montpellier because it wasn’t too good and we wanted to continue to drive up to our last Destination upper North, Montreal. Photobucket We spent the most of our time in Montreal because there was so much snow and good spots to hit with the snowboard. We also had a few pretty nice guys like JP and his friend in the Skateshop and Guilliome. Big props to those guys for helping us out so much and showing us around. But unfortunetly inbetween our Rail Sessions, great food experiances, Card Games and Sauna visits. Chris Patsch broke his wrist while hitting a Ledge in Montreal on his birthday... but we went out for party with him anyway this night, this evening was just amazeing weh ad such a good party with nice people, Champaign and a lot of Vodka. After our long time in Montreal our trip was going to end, all of us where pretty exhausted and really looking forward for a shower and a real bad so we left Montreal a day earlier and drove the down to New Jersey in on day to have our last day and night in New York again. Which was going crazy in the Annex. All in all, it was a great trip! Photobucket In a few days I am leaving for another Isenseven Trip to Colorado, you can read how this trip is going to be in a few weeks. Keep watching my profile and I wish you a great March. Hello Snowboard people, I hope you all are doing good and enjoying the Winter. I know it’s a long time since I posted my last blog but I have been so busy with school and snowboarding the last month. But I will blog more the next weeks, promise. Ok since my last Blog I have been to a lot of places with or without Snow... At the end of November, one week before the Air&Style in Munich I went to Köln, Germany with Isenseven for some Streetrail Riding, which was pretty tuff because it was so warm and we just had space to bring barely enough snow for inrun and landing from the Snow stadium in Neuss to the Rails Spots. Which made riding in the city more dirty and painful. Photobucket But we had a lot of fun with our Friends for a few days. Thanks to the Carhartt boys, to let this all happen!!! At the end of our trip in Köln weh ad our last Isenseven „übermovie“ premiere in Germany, wich was a fun party with our fans. This nice boy Moritz, was so stoked to meet us that he even painted a picture for us with all our movie sponsors. Photobucket After Köln and a few days school, my best friends Peter König, Marco smolla and me were riding at the Nokia Air & Style in Munich for the Rookie challenge. It was my 2nd year at the Air & Style and I can just say its the most amazeing snowboard Copetition I have ever been. Ist so much fun, noise and incredible snowboarding. Its hold in the Olympic soccer stadium in Munich which is an amazeing location. After the Event Marco and me had a signing session with our sponsor O2, where people could win our boards.. Check out www.isenseven.de for the Air&Style Video footage. Photobucket After the Air & Style I had a lot to do for school and tried to film fort he Isenseven movie a few times but the snow conditions in Austria, Switzerland and Germany where so bad that we didn`t had much success. When vacations started I went home to my parents and family to spend Christmas with them and a few days of, which was very cool. After this I went to Garmisch Partenkirchen to spend „New Years“ with the Isenseven crew like every year and afterwards we straight went to Austria to find some snow and get some shots, which wasn’t too good because of the bad snow conditions. So we have hit a lot of handrails during this time. And I went to my Sponsor Vans, Park Opening in Mayrhofen, Zillertal Austria with Silvia Mittermüller. The Park is very great with a lot of small and big Jumps, Rails and Boxes for everybody and even a Halfpipe. You should checkl it out! Photobucket After 2 weeks of family, new years and filming I had to go back to school and write a lot of exams, which took me almost a month of hardcore learning and just snowboarding on the weekends. But its my last year school, so I need to do a little bit more for it. Last weekend we even made an avalance course with a skilled guide in sölden with the whole Isenseven crew, it was very interesting and important for us when we go out filming in the backcountry. Next week I am going to New York and then drive up the whole East Coast of the USA for some urban riding with Michi Zirngibl Chris Patsch and a few other guys from Isenseven. We will stay in the USA for 3 weeks so I think I have to blog a lot of stuff afterwards.... I keep you posted. I wish you all a lot of snow, wherever you are!!! Tobi Photobucket

Hello Snowboard people, sorry for not postig blogs for so long but as I told you in the last blog my computer was broken and with all the pictures on my harddrive it was difficult for me. But all problems are solved and now I am back blogging. I wanna continue my last blog which one I wrote during my New Zealnd trip. The last week in New Zealnd which was in the beginning of  September was really fun at the end. As I told you we where skydiving and playing Tennis besides our Snowboard activities. As soon as Fischi the publisher, photogrpher and Photo Editor of Pleasure Snowboard arrived in Wanaka we spent all day with him shooting or in his house own hottub on the mountian. Snowboarding wasn’t too good in the last week according to the very strong wind and clouds. Since I am home in Germany, I haven’t done so much snowboarding so far. My last year school started pretty soon, which I take a little bit more serious  now;) And I am more focused on the beginning of the school year so that I can go snowboarding when the season starts. But on the last weekends beside school I had a lot of other fun stuff to do, I spent more time with my family whom I barely see during the season. And one evening I have been on a concert in munich with my friends Vince, Marco, Christian and Christophe given by the famous Indy Rock Band „Shout out Louds“ which was amazeing. Very great live act! Another day I have been surfing again with Marco & Christophe on Eisbach in Munich. Which was pretty cold according to the season but still fun. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at

Photobucket Another weekend I have been to Wiesn, Oktoberfest in Munich with my brother Fips, Marco, Peter and Rene. It was my first time at Oktoberfest which is pretty ashamed for an Bavarian like me. But it was so much fun, all it is about is actually wearing traditional Bavarian clothes, drinking Beer out of 1 Liter cans, eating grilled chicken and singing and shouting... sound crazy but after a few beers it’s the biggest fun ever. Photobucket The next day after Wiesn was the day ofour world movie Premiere for Isensevens Übermovie which was very important for Alex, Vincent and the whole crew because it ist he result of our main project we spent so much time for last season. But lot of people came, the movie was great, the croud shouted and weh ad a lot of fun at the after party. A few days later there were 2 other Premiers already in Ulm and Innsbruck which were very sucessful too. But our movie tour is still going on in Germany and other countries like Norway, USA, Canada and more so maybe we are coming to your area too just check www.iseseven.de if you don’t wanna miss a great party. Another thing which I am kinda prroud of, I got my first cover in the new Oktober Issue of Whitelines Snowboard Magazine. I made this picture with Marcel Lämmerhirth in Kaunertal last spring/summer. The Snow was already gone in this area but we found this nice drop spot, with a can of snow and this piece of wood in the landing and a little bit creativity we got the shot. I am stoked! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at
Photobucket Last weekend after the Premiere in Innsbruck, I went fishing with my brither Fips and my friend Andi which was so nice, like back to the child days. It was a little cold but we where successful. Everybody of us catched at least one Fish, mine weight already 1 kilo. Check it out. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at
Photobucket After fishing I went to Hintertux and Kaunertal in my October vacations for snowboarding which was pretty nice, a little bit icy but cool. Althought it snowed at home already. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at

Hello People, Sorry this is a very late blog I wrote it like one and a half months ago but according to the Snowboard.com website problems and the problems with my broken Computer I couldn’t post it earlier. Sorryy, but here it still comes. I hope you are all enjoying a good summer wherever you are. Since my last blog where I reported about my last few days in school a lot happened in my life. At first, when summer school vacation started I spent a few days at home to have time with my familie and then I went on holiday to Croatia with my girlfriend Tine and my friend and Isenseven Crewmate Peter König. We had a pretty good time there, a lot of sun, good food, snorkling or just enjoying in the sun to get some Energy for our snowboard trip to New Zealand one week later. Here a few pictures I made in Croatia with my new cellphone Nokia N95 which O2 offered me to picture my trips. Peter and me... rollin Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Ocean Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Peter Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Porec Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Love Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket After Croatia I had just 2 days back at home to get my stuff done and pack my luggage for New Zealand. Then I went to Munich for my first real Concert in the famous „Atomic Cafe“ Bar, the Band was called „Voxtrot“ from Texas United States and it was just amazeing to watch them playing the tunes. Then the last day before our Flight left, I went surfing with Marco Smolla at the „Eisbach“ river in the centre of Munich. So much fun, there is a big Wave in the middle of the city. It was pretty hard for me the first time but it was real fun. At the next morning, Marco Smolla, Andre Kuhlmann, Peter König and me checked in at Munich Airport. After our last Weißbier and Weißwurst at the Airport Restaurant, we entered our Airplane and left Bavaria. On our trip we stopped at 4 different Airports and one gas station to get to our final destination. According to this 2 day long journey we where pretty excited to move our sore bodies and go Snowboarding. Thanks to Marco and Jorma, that they managed everything about the house and rental car before we got here. The mountain where we always ride here is called Snowpark, it’s one hill consisting of one huge Snowboard Park. With a Superpipe, Quarterpipe, a bigger Jump Line and 2 smaller jib lines on each side with different Obstacles, boxes, rails and smaller jumps. Riding there in summer to work on your snowboard skills for the season without any preasure. Snowpark Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket We are here for a peride of three weeks. From now on we have one week left. One day we made a trip to the Western Coast of the country which was very exciting, we had barbecue on the beach with our friends from Switzerland and got a view of New Zealand great Landscape. Hello patient people!
Our deadline got close, we know. We're always a bit late but this time we nearly missed it. But not exactly because we're lazy. The past few weeks, almost everyone spend time shooting in North America for a quite long period of time. We had an awful season in Europe, so we just jumped into airplanes quite spontaneously and stayed there way longer than planned - while the editing computers stayed home, of course.
It was a season far away from home, with plenty of catnaps at airports, bad food, rental cars, studying maps, meeting new friends, having extraordinary high phone bills and missing his own bed at home. In this months clip, you'll watch some outtakes of our crew in North America - tired, confused, surprised but still, most of all - happy to travel with a bunch of friends.

You'll find the clip available for download in HD quality now at www.isenseven.de or you just watch it here - we're also presenting some travel gallerys at our profile at Snowboard.com. Get there following this link: http://snowboard.colonies.com/isenseven/galleries/

Want more stuff? A couple of weeks ago The Mustachio online mag did an interview with us - check it out here: http://www.themustachio.com/?item_id=851

Sincerely,
Snowboard-Franz

Le faboleux destin de Marco: Jet lag?
By: smarco

Good morning and Happy Valentines Day or something to everyone!
I probably do not need to mention anymore that it has been a long time since the last Blog I wrote.
I've been travelling a lot the past two months. After the Breckenridge trip in end of January I had to go to school for sometime. It turned out to be only for 8 days...
Actually we planned on doing a Switzerland Trip with RVs, but this wouldn't have made sense, since the winter had been amazingly bad in whole Middle Europe by then. So we were forced to think of some alternatives and since the trip was scheduled for in about 3 days we had to go through an "Alternative-Thinking-Marathon".

The decision was decided very quickly and we, Andre Tröltzsch, Vincent Urban, Fips Strauss and me, booked a couple of flights to Tahoe for the over next day.
Tahoe was probably the right decision although neither the snow nor the park conditions there had been too good when we arrived. But with some creativity in our minds we managed to get some very nice and special shots. And after a week or so we would just get heaps of snow there. It was so much we were even almost complaining about the weather which just wouldnt stop snowing anymore. We've had about a metre of fresh snow in our own garden in Truckee. But since it didn't stop snowing we couldn't not shoot any kickers again. But we still got a very nice Powder day just having fun without filming at all.

I had to fly home after a couple of snow chaos days in Tahoe, but the other guys stayed and waited for better weather to shoot some powder kickers.

Finally I went home for only 3 days until I would just fly back to North America. This time to Canada, BC. Very spontaneously we organized a Photo and Film trip together with the Pleasure Snowboard Magazine and Isenseven ofcourse.
We probably had the most Anti-Luck you could imagine. When we arrived in BC we had Spring temperatures, just like in Germany, and all the snow was already old and either tracked or just melted to slush or nothing in the lower areas. And everybody was like "Oh, we've been having a gorgeous winter for the whole last month! It is just since yesterday that it has become so warm..."

Well, ofcourse this couldn't stop us with our mission. We would just let run our creative mind part one more time and managed to make a very productive trip out of this cursed snow situation.
You will see the pictures in the Pleasure in the first Editions the next Season.
Ah maybe one last shout-out to the very cultural American and Canadian food. We enjoyed it every day... This was my meal after a day of Snowboarding. Don't bother counting, I had 8 Hamburgers...

Now I'm back home again. I'll be going to school for almost three weeks in a row until we get spring break. Then I will likely spend some time in Austria and Switzerland for sure, since there's the Pleasure Spring Session happening from the 11th to the 15th of April in Laax! You definitely don't want to miss that one!
This is me by the way:

Thanks for reading!

Just a short update... had an eventful trip to Tahoe and a nice but different than expected trip to the Canadian rockies during the past few weeks. I actually wanted to have a 10-day US trip which ended up as a 2 month North America journey. This night, someone broke into our car and stole Fipses cloths. And that's not the only weird thing happend this day. I'm just gonna drink one or two Kokanee, go surfing at the hot tub and try to tell more another day. Be sure to check out the Isenseven profile for some pictures and stories about our adventures. Good bye and don't ever polute again!

Le faboleux destin de Marco: Is it Summer or Winter?
By: smarco

Hello everybody!
I'm sitting on my very comfortable coach at home in front of my laptop and while I'm listening to the new Bloc Party Album and wondering one more time what has happened to Frau Holle. Somehow it seems like she forgott not only Germany but almost the whole world. Cause of this very bad snow situation here in Europe we decided very spontaneously to go to Colorado in January. Tobi Strauss, Daniel Ek and I flew to Denver, as Alex Schiller was already in Breckenridge (1 hour drive from Denver) trying to shoot some stuff. He went there with Peter König, who unfortunately broke his collar bone on the first day.
The Park in Breckenridge is just amazing! It was probably the best Park I've ever been to.Although Breck had such a good Park we also went to a bunch of other resorts like Vail, Copper, Winterpark, Keystone and in the end also Aspen. In Vail they had super funny logrides in the woods which really looked like they are all natural. Unfortunately I dont have any pictures of them but you will see them in the new Isenseven movie which is to be released in approximately mid of september 07. Or maybe even already in some of the monthly Month clips on www.isenseven.de
We also spent a day in Breckenridge, the town itself. They got an amazing selection of hat fashion there!

or that one (Alex and I)
For further nice and sophisticated pictures check out my gallery.

After shooting in Breck and the surrounding area we went to Aspen where we got an extraordinary support of the marketing office. We were given a house:
and plenty of good spots as you see on the following picture
They even organized a groomer for us in order to dig out the rail which would have been a lot of work with only shovels and hands.
So thank you Aspen for your great support!
Of course we also did a lot of other stuff but I wont reveal our secret spots yet...
All in all we really had a great time over there although we sometimes became a little angry about the whole American culture. But we also found some stuff we really liked about, as the car Alex is posing in front of.
Unfortunately Tobi couldnt stay the whole time with us, because he hurt his knee a little bit and already had to go home after a week. Therefore we met up with Creager (Thomas Stöckli) in Aspen who also took that rail picture of me.
Now I'm back home and got to go to school for two weeks until it's already time for our next trip through the European Alps. So we are impatiently waiting for snow!
For more pictures check out my gallery, because thanks to o2 I now have a mobile with an integrated digi cam and so was able to take a lot of pictures!
Peace in and war out!

My Journal: Dresden
By: Vincent.Isenseven

We just got back home from our first rail trip. We came to enjoy beautiful Dresden, a city in Eastern Germany where snowboarding isn't usual at all. Overall, we managed to get some good shots, met friendly peole and discovered interessting facts about our own country. Unfortunately, our two riders, Michi and Basti, both broke their arms on the fourth day. Now that it has snow, we just sit and wait.

The weeks before weren't any better. While Alex sits in Colorado and shreds nice parks with Marco and Daniel, we tried our best to get some rail stuff done with snow shaved from the ice rings, sometimes succesful, sometimes rediculous.
It's a good time to have some drinks without feeling bad about the hangovers. There's nothing better to have a nice hangover in such a winter.

Right now, I see the water dripping down in front of my window. After 3 days of heavy snowfall, everything's melting again. Welcome spring!

Friends of poor winter!
There's heavy snowfall outside. Finally, after three months of beach holiday in Europe, there's so much snow you don't even want to leave home. But that's not necessary for us, as half of the Isen-team is injured right now - timing is everything! The good thing about it: we finally had time to intensify our knowledge about modern video technology and so - after three days of rendering - we can publish our first monthly clip of this season, just in time and in HD quality!
Like last year, this first output presents you our team for 2007, all packed in the dry mood we enjoyed the past couple of months. Together with a new gallery of the highlights of January, you can find the video on our website www.isenseven.de as usual - you can choose between HD or the oldschool crap.
Or you just watch the clip here on Snowboard.com

We just got back home from our first rail trip. We came to enjoy beautiful Dresden, a city in Eastern Germany where snowboarding isn't usual at all. Overall, we managed to get some good shots, met friendly peole and discovered interessting facts about our own country. Unfortunately, our two riders, Michi and Basti, both broke their arms on the fourth day. Now that it has snow, we just sit and wait.

See all of you at the ISPO next week, be sure to drop by at the Pleasure booth!

the 2nd of December was a very special day for members of our peaceful community. The Air&Style was held in Munich, one of the most progressive snowboard contests yet. Not only some wild tricks were shown for the first time that day, also our Isen-Groms had the chance to ride in front of such a impressive scenery for the first time. While you've probably seen the highlights of the night on TV stations or low-quality internet-streams over and over again, we now produced a little clip which focuses on the experiences our rookies Marco Smolla, Peter König and the Straussen twins made, offers a view behind the scenes and transports the atmosphere during the day.

It was a promising start. Although it was stormy and cloudy most of the times, we managed to enjoy the most funny season opening ever. Instead of taking the gondola to the mountain, we stayed at the lift station all day long on friday, building up the "Ulti-Multi-Minijib-Terrain" which consistet of all the trash laying around in the area. You'll for sure see some of resulted shots in one of our new month clips (first one in January). Also, we managed to have nearly every rider from Isenseven gathered in one village which, of course, ended up in drinking games so even our quite Norwegians got wasted.
After all this head ache, we're not sure if it's a good idea to have Xaver travelling with us the whole season.

Well... now winter's gone again. T-shirt temperatures mid of November.
As there isn't any real winter anymore, there's no reason to live close to the mountains any longer. I'm moving back to the big city, Munich, 1st of December.

Next up: Air&Style 2nd of December in Munich. Marco and the twins are riding the rookie contest. As you can see, Alex is pretty stoked about that.

We're back from a very enjoyable weekend in Augburg, Bavaria. Midnight expeditions, a hotel in state of emergency and, of course, the PowWow-Railbattle. In spite of very unpleasant temperatures and other small problems, the Lautloscrew managed to bring a big buch of spectators together in Augsburg and organized a contest with a very high riding level. We're glad for our Norwegian kid Erik Botner and Silli Mittermüller who stayed concentrated until the end and can enjoy a coffee machine now. Praises also to all the other riders who showed high-level snowboarding during the two days.
Thanks to the organizers, all the people helping out and all the spectators who stayed to watch in the cold.
