We've been seeing some rad ideas coming from independent designers and its important for us to offer. This concept, designed by Lane Lederman remains nameless at the moment, so we're calling it the bush whacker for now.

Lane submitted his design to us through our Co-op and within a few weeks we will publish his board on our site with a chance for people to reserve their board in advance.

The point of our Co-op is to give guys and gals, like Lane, the chance to have their artwork published with a snowboard company.

Screw design competition where you will literally be one in 1,000 to win. Our Co-Op is natural selection. If you design kicks ass people will want it and we are here to help you make it.

If you are interested in creating your own board for our Co-Op then here is where to start.
1. Put together the most rad artwork you can think of, just don't copy other people's designs.
2. Submit your artwork and create a bio. What is your artwork about?
3. Tell all your friends about your board so they want to buy it.
4. Your friends reserve a spot to purchase your board.
5. Once a few reserve orders come it we'll print your design.
6. When it is time to print we'll call to complete the reserve orders.
7. We then invest in your design and publish it into our line of boards.

This is your chance to be a snowboard designer.

We just finished our most amazing winter camp season so far. The snow conditions were great all season and lots of powder. Lots of cool campers joined from all over the world – Canada, U.S.A., England, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, France, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Brunei and more... Thanks to all of the great guys and gals who joined the camp this winter – we will miss you and hope to see you again. It’s difficult to explain with words about what we do and the fun we have at the camp so I have attached our 2008 video Enjoy and see you this winter.

The first two JumpCamp's rocked!


Mother nature was a real doll and gave us some killer weather and the snow conditions were soft and slushy, perfect for jumping and freeriding. Campers were stoked on all the new features in the park and all the natural terrain on Forbidden that we sessioned.




We even set up a cliff feature for some adventurous campers to launch. Campers really impressed me with their drive to learn new tricks and strengthen their riding. Tons of camper firsts went down over the course of the two sessions; First time grabs, spins, spins with grabs, inverted spins... It was insane! All the campers had a wicked time and really progressed their skills a lot. Thanks to all our sponsors and coaches for an amazing set of camps. Fresh pow in March? Yep, you got it. We've had some sweet days up the hill lately. With the amount of snow still on Forbidden we're going to be shreddin' into the summertime!

JumpCamp Jam a hit! We shralped the park, barbequed some nice dogs, jibbed our brains out and then guess what? We shralped some more! That's right. Our broski Paul Henderson even came out to hang for the jam. We're gonna do another one mid April so stay tuned for the date.

what am i doing here? i dont know why but i have a good idea where i might go...sometimes i dont want to go there or sometimes i just want to be there faster ..we have all felt the same and have all been there befor ...i just hope we all understand...hope i one day understand why i'm here and accept the fact i/we have no other path that will fit me/us right!
i have never understood why my friends and close people i know have always put there problems on me expecting me to fix them or change things dramatically like i'm f*cking budah but i'm not ...i have come to the point where its become too much ...i WILL listen to your problems i will sympathize or empathize in your situation and understand the best i can where you or my people might be comeing from. i have been in the situation where i have been lost and had to ask someone i knew to help me back ...but i never put it on there shoulders like others have done to me! i dont know what else to say i just cant take being me anymore sometimes...like when its hard for me i need someone to go to just as much as you people or friends do.....i guess what i am trying to say is take other peoples lives into consideration befor you dump your problems
i know other people have had the problem and most of the time it takes just a few words from someone you know to change the way you do things in life..thanks for reading...take er easy guys and gals i'm off to change the world one minute at a time....BYE

So, I am off to a rough start today!  I got woken up at the crack of dawn this morning by an east coast buddy that forgot about the 3 hour time difference.  Then I got up in the buff and went into the kitchen to get a brownie for breakfast (yes, healthy, I know) and there outside of my kitchen and living room windows is some guy on a ladder painting the building a whole five feet away from me (big, hairy guy) who I am guessing had a great morning courtesy of me.  Grabbed my brownie and headed back to bed stopping in the bathroom for some water, dropped some brownie crumbs on the floor, bent over to get them and then apparently misjudged the location of the corner of the counter-BAM!  So, I then had a bleeding goose egg on my forehead!  At this point, I just decided what the hell and went back to bed only to wake up again AT 11:00 a.m.!!!!!  What did I put into those brownies?  Or maybe it was the knock on the head?  So, now I am trying to get some work on my stupid thesis done and thinking about how I joined this gals only gym and have another appointment with my trainer, Jen the Sadist, this afternoon and what new tortures she may have come up with for today! Hmmm... maybe she is bi-curious?  Stop IT... now I am not going to be able to concentrate at the gym!!!  What did I put in those brownies?

I have hardly any recollection of Saturday, and believe that I spoke to many ppl from SB.com on the phone, Kat and Bill and Angelo I think!

Sorry guys and gals!! But trust me I am paying for it!

As for the rest of you - I think Essex had been suitably tagged and debauched for a few weeks at least!!  Me and Essex need time to recover!  But a great time was had by all! Will try and get some pics up ASAP!!

I just got back from a 6 day trip to whistler, I brought up two friends as well! We had a great time! Hitting park pretty much all day! We planned on taking photos, I would have some new ones for you guys, but we never really got around to it. We built a small kicker one day, we for some odd reason totally hated the thing so we trashed it and left! Great park hits though, I had some awsome boardslides on all the medium rails and did my first wall ride/rail thing, and I did a pretty good job too (so I was told). I also learned how to do a C-BOX properly! I can now hit all the M (Medium) ranked rails in the parks very confidently. Hopefully next year I will be hitting the HL park! Peace for now boys and gals!

Determination - One's will to get what they want, in this case snowboarding professionally.
Some people want it, some people think they want it.
The people that want it work hard, they're up early, no excuses, no complaints.
The guys and gals that get it, will (for the most part) do whatever it takes not to let it go.
Pretty much the reason booters get bigger, rails get kinkier (yeah kinkier), cliffs get higher and Jeremy Jones finds some retardedly steep line and f*cking kills it.
Determination ends up setting the best apart from the rest.
Devun Walsh, JP Walker, Shaun White, T.Rice, Terje etc are all determined.

Today was a day of rest. Dinner at the Dub Linh Gate was enjoyable but getting called into work was not. At least i got free drinks out of it. Then a walk through the village to see all of the lovely jocks and tourists that are o so obnoxious. Oh well i guess its the holidays. Merry X-mas bois and gals.
