It's done! "Übermovie" is completed, it's stored securely in a steel safe, beeing guarded by an army of Snowboard-Franz-clones 24/7, surrounded by a pool filled with rabid sharks. It's full of stories about big cities, girls, cardboards and snowboarding, decorated with the sweetest IndiePopElectroRock since there have been snowboard movies from Bavaria. "Übermovie", the sixth consecutive production of Isenseven presents the crew consisting of Basti Kuhn, Michi Zirngibl, Marco Smolla, Chris Patsch, Peter König, Fredrik Evensen, Xaver Hoffmann, Erik Botner, Christophe Schmidt, Tobi Strauss, André Kuhlmann, Fips Strauss, Daniel Ek und Andre Tröltzsch on their turbulent journeys to the most beautiful hills of this planet. On the evening of Septmeber 29th, the movie will be freed from it's secure hiding place and showed to the public for the first time at the Badeanstalt, Leopoldstr. 250 in Munich. Doors open at 9 pm, early birds can catch a good spot at the main screen - but there will also be a screen on the open-air area for those who come late. We got the beer, you bring the happiness. And to make sure you stay happy for the whole evening, we got the DJs Dominic Holzer from Helter-Skelter Radio M94.5 and Sir Hannes from the Atomic Café to delight you with dance-tunes like the ones you know from the videos.

And for those of you who always wanted to meet the riders and producers of the crew in true color and sober - you are sincerely invited to the "Isenseven Kaffeeklatsch", a meet & greet event at the Planet-Sports shop, Albert-Roßhaupter-Str. 37 in Munich, in the afternoon before the party.

Supported by: Pleasure Snowboard Magazin, Oakley, Burton, Forum, Nitro, O'Neill, Flow, Venue, Rome, Suzuki, Bitburger, Planet Sports.

My Journal: Dresden
By: Vincent.Isenseven

We just got back home from our first rail trip. We came to enjoy beautiful Dresden, a city in Eastern Germany where snowboarding isn't usual at all. Overall, we managed to get some good shots, met friendly peole and discovered interessting facts about our own country. Unfortunately, our two riders, Michi and Basti, both broke their arms on the fourth day. Now that it has snow, we just sit and wait.

The weeks before weren't any better. While Alex sits in Colorado and shreds nice parks with Marco and Daniel, we tried our best to get some rail stuff done with snow shaved from the ice rings, sometimes succesful, sometimes rediculous.
It's a good time to have some drinks without feeling bad about the hangovers. There's nothing better to have a nice hangover in such a winter.

Right now, I see the water dripping down in front of my window. After 3 days of heavy snowfall, everything's melting again. Welcome spring!

Be sure to check out our new monthly clip at www.isenseven.de

Friends of poor winter!
There's heavy snowfall outside. Finally, after three months of beach holiday in Europe, there's so much snow you don't even want to leave home. But that's not necessary for us, as half of the Isen-team is injured right now - timing is everything! The good thing about it: we finally had time to intensify our knowledge about modern video technology and so - after three days of rendering - we can publish our first monthly clip of this season, just in time and in HD quality!
Like last year, this first output presents you our team for 2007, all packed in the dry mood we enjoyed the past couple of months. Together with a new gallery of the highlights of January, you can find the video on our website www.isenseven.de as usual - you can choose between HD or the oldschool crap.
Or you just watch the clip here on Snowboard.com

So here's the story (for those of you that want to know...and even for those that don't)

-Got laid off from my job last October 14, the day before I flew home to be the Best Man at my brother's wedding (nice, eh? ...but most of you already knew that)

-Fast forward to March '05..."new" job doing the same thing I was doing before, just being paid (more) by someone else. Move to Albuquerque, NM, for what I think is at least a 9 month assignment...back home in Portland after about 2 months there. Yeah...

-July 3 and 4, '05...fly to Nagoya, Japan, on business and worked there until beginning of September (for those of you bad at math...2 months).

-Come back home to Oregon long enough to put everything into storage and get rid of the apartment (about 3 weeks), and now I'm here in Dresden, Saxony, Germany...plan is to be working here for around 9 months (give or take a month...)

-After this...? I don't know yet. We'll see...

Anyone around here (Europe) that wants to go boarding, just message me and LET'S GO!!
