Le faboleux destin de Marco: Air & Style is over and Christmas is coming
By: smarco

Hallo!
Being a long time since my last Blog I could finnaly "overwhelm" myself to write another one...
A lot of things happened since the Augsburg Railbattle. First I went to Hintertux for a couple of days to ride some kickers in order to be prepared for the next big event: the Air & Style. As most of you will now they organised a Rookie Challenge this year, and fortunately I was allowed to compete in that one. As the Contest is probably one  of the biggest Snowboard Competitions in the world it really was an honor to me to ride there. First I was also a little afraid of everything that could go wrong riding in front of ten thousands of people, but as it came to my run I was pretty lucky that I could deal with all the pressure. I basically showed the tricks I wanted to show and therefore was lucky with my result as the fourth in the Rookie Challenge. Props to Mikkel! He really deserved to win with doing first Sw back nine in the first run and cab nine in the second!

After the Air & Style I had to focus on my school exams again. Now I'm done with  all my exams except one last which is Psychologie and shouldnt be too difficult.
After Christmas I'll try to find some snow in Austria. Although I still haven't figured out how to manage that I'm sure I'll find a way... Otherwise I'll just create some in my mind...

Everybody out there searching for snow as well should just follow my advice!
-> Be creative!

We're back from a very enjoyable weekend in Augburg, Bavaria. Midnight expeditions, a hotel in state of emergency and, of course, the PowWow-Railbattle. In spite of very unpleasant temperatures and other small problems, the Lautloscrew managed to bring a big buch of spectators together in Augsburg and organized a contest with a very high riding level. We're glad for our Norwegian kid Erik Botner and Silli Mittermüller who stayed concentrated until the end and can enjoy a coffee machine now. Praises also to all the other riders who showed high-level snowboarding during the two days.
Thanks to the organizers, all the people helping out and all the spectators who stayed to watch in the cold.

Check out the videoclip to the contest here at Snowboard.com or at www.isenseven.de

For the second time POW WOW Railbattle took place in Augsburg last weekend. Top-class riders coming from all over the world participated in the competition, performance levels were therefore extremely high. In total more than 100 snowboarders and Freeskiers took part in the event. On two consecutive days men and women delivered exciting duels competing to finish first.

The event found a vivid response from the public. Thousands came to watch and were thrilled by the tricks presented by the riders. Overall on both days the number of spectators at the 12m high ramp outreached by far last year’s numbers.

Daniel Schießl dominated the Freeskiing contest from qualifying to the finals. With his ever so well presented tricks he made himself an early birthday present and gained the victory ahead of Harald Richter and Severin Guggemos. ‘Hooray’ to the ladies, Caja Schöpf, Christina Huber und Daniela Beier who came only to be part of it and gave a stunning show as a bonus on Saturday night’s finals to the audience.

More German success was to be seen with Silvia Mittermüllers victory in the ladies’ snowboard contest. The 23 years old from Munich came first in the superfinal jam ahead of Swiss Sina Candrian and Kati Lukaschek from Germany. Local contester Anja Failer injured herself in an early round and could not participate in the finals.

Bad luck also for Mike Casanova who was supposed to be head and shoulders above the rest. The US boy misjudged performing a difficult trick in the quarterfinals and hit the audience’s barrier at high speed. He hurt himself at the shoulder, unable to continue but not severely. Thus, finals turned out to be a tight fight. Finally Erik-Johan Botner from Norway had the right touch and came in first. The 18 years old  convinced the jurors with versatility and a lot of style and meritedly took 300 EURO price money and the winner’s cup in the end. He was closely followed by Austrian Marc Swoboda and Dutch Gerben Verweij.

Freeski Men

1. Daniel Schießl (GER)
2. Harald Richter (GER)
3. Severin Guggemos (GER)

Snowboard Women
1. Silvia Mittermüller (GER)
2.
Sina Candrian (SUI)
3.
Kati Lukaschek (AUT)

Snowboard Men
1. Erik-Johan Botner (NOR)
2. Marc Swoboda (AUT)
3. Gerben Verweij (HOL)

After the award ceremony professionals and the spectators partied together at the Afterparty in Augsburg’s Cinemaxx. More than 1.500 guests mingled on all three floor of the cinema complex. DJ Heidi from Windsor (Canada), DJ 5. Ton from Stuttgart and many more turn-table acrobats fascinated the crowd as did the video premieres of ‘Prediculous’ and ‘Welcome Back’ .

One thing is for sure: months of preparation, all endless efforts of the Lautloscrew, the Stadtjugendring Augsburg, the AgenturCMS and all helpers and sponsors created once again a magnificent youth event in Augsburg.

See you again next year: It’s where it’s at – in the city - in the snow.

Le faboleux destin de Marco: railbattle augsburg
By: smarco

Hello again!
Sitting on the coach completely exhausted from a long week-end I remembered that I wanted to write Blogs from now on...
The last week-end we spent in Augsburg at the Pow Wow Railbattle which was organized by the Lautloscrew. It was a 2 days Contest with the qualifaction on Friday and the Final on Saturday. Luckily Fips, Chris, Erik and me made it to the Superfinal. And Erik even won it.
We had a fun time riding though it was sometimes badly organized and too little Training.
After the competition we celebrated Erik's victory of course.
Now I'm back home with sore muscles and lack of sleep and have to concentrate on school again. Actually I was supposed to read Goethe's Faust by today and I have an Mathematics exam on Thursday and an English exam on the following Monday.
And not to forget I still try to call Snooker my hobby!
So I'm kind of busy right now...

For those who live in Europe, don't miss Pleasure Jam at Dachstein from Thursday to Sunday!

Esel and me just came back from a well earned work-free weekend in Switzerland. Laying in bed all day watching Lord Of The Rings, going out with Swiss drink devils and enjoying way too sweet Starbucks coffee at the lake.

While I had serious problems finding the right tool to decorate my head, this weekend,...

... Esel had way more serious problems finding his drink input slot.

See all you guys next weekend at the Railbattle in Augsburg. Should be fun.

Since its release last November, the little railbattle clip was downloaded 7308 times from our homepage. Questions about which song we used for the clip had a nearly similar amount and brought friendly guestbook people to boil. If we release another clip about this years PowWow Railbattle in Augsburg isn't sure yet. But it's sure that it takes place again, this contest which is already considered as legendary although it only exists since last year. A very good setup and a line-up with lots of young talents who showed a level of riding which could be called high-class even in international comparison made last years event something very special. But above all, the Railbattle managed to get masses on the streets which you usually only see on big soccer events.

Like last year, Isenseven will be highly present on this weekend. 14 riders take part altogether including last years finalists Michi Zirngibl, Philipp Strauss, Flo Bürgel, Marco Smolla, Basti Kuhn and also Silli Mittermüller, Erik Botner, Alex Wottrich, Tobi Strauss, Andre Tröltzsch, Chris Patsch, Fredrik Evensen and two new members which we will announce at the contest. Of course, Simon "Esel" Schöllhorn and Jan Schröder from the Pleasure mag will do the moderation again.

The after-party will take place at the Cinemaxx palace at Willi-Brandt-Platz and we will celebrate yet another premiere of "Prediculous" if there's someone who hadn't had the chance to see it yet.

We hope to see all of you somewhere in the masses! Isenseven will show up with lots of goodies again.

PowWow Railbattle Augsburg, Willi-Brandt-Platz
03.11.-04.11. (find detailed timetables at www.railbattle.com)
After-party with "Prediculous" premiere, 11pm at the Cinemaxx Filmpalast

Best regards

Well... our premiere in Oslo was... let's say something between a complete disaster and the greatest premiere we ever had. Nevertheless, the 9 Isenseven party-travellers enjoyed one of their nicest trips to Norways capitol. Happy people, happy shopping, happy sightseeing...

... and, of course, happy beer fest...

I hope we will encounter similiar good times at our next stop in Augsburg at the Powwow Railbattle, 04.11.06. It'll be the first time one of our movies is gonna be played in a cinema, so get yourself there!

Oh my god! Will the partying ever end?....I don´t think so. Innsbruck went over well, and the Playboard Party was sweet too! And the Pow Pow Railjam in Augsburg was the sickest Contest ever. Props to the Lautlos Dudes. Just finishing up the Playboard Video and getting ready to go to the Pleasure Jam on Nov 11th - 13th. Hardly any snow, but it´ll be some fun schralping and partying and seeing everybody you´ve lost contact with over the summer.
