My Blog: NEW BOARD ... finally!

All right, it's decided!

Looks like I'll be rockin' the '06 Atomic Polarity this year.

Just put my down-payment on the board. Now I just have to finish up paying for it when the paychecks come in, and I'll be good to go. Now I just need to find a goooood deal on bindings and boots, and I'm set to go. (Except for picking up some new gear. I just realized my pants and jacket are a good, er, 5 years old ... and I still fit in to them. It's pretty pathetic.)

Does anyone else thinks Roxy's new 06/07 winter line is completely hideous?

My Blog: Whaaa? A new snowboard?!

Yes, yes, and double yes!

I've decided that now that I have a stable job and are actually making a nice amount of money, I'm going to treat myself to a new snowboard this year (Especially since I'll be turning 18 this season, so it'll be like a new step). I've been asking opinions from everyone on what board would be best for me, including making a very helpful thread in the Snowboard section, and I've come down to these three choices:

- Atomic Polarity

- Gnu Barrett Christy Pro

- Ride Kashmir

To be honest, my heart is really with the Atomic Polarity, especially since I can get a bangin' deal for it on Ebay. That, and it looks like such a fierce board. I'll really be able to tear up the mountain with it.

and OHhhh I'm so excited!! :D

I messaged some of the girls on the Atomic team (Vera and Molly) to get their input on it, and Vera already messaged me back. :) She's so kick ass, I love her haha. Told me that the Polarity IS truly a kick ass board, and that it should be exactly what I need.

So I think I have my mind on a board. I'll use my Troop for experimenting in the park and what not.

Hm hm hm this summer is coming along nicely :)

My Blog: All work and no play......

Well, that's it for another week.... :)

Been a very testing and trying week at work (and at home) with a lot of stuff on that I am not gonna bore you all with - lets just say I've been a well stresshead all week and have had very long telephone convo's with a 'select' few...

(Thanks me lovelies - I love you!! xx)

Anyways - I am off working away at the start of next week.....I can't wait.....I'm not letting on why I'm soooo excited but lets just say it's all very good!! :) :) :) I'm just very nervous (and excited...did I mention that??!!) but it will all be coolio!

Still really undecided as to what I want to do with my life atm - really wanna go away on a season (at 28 I really should have done this years ago), stay here and earn some monies or change jobs and move to Londinium??!!

I just figure that 'what will be will be' and that I will find my correct path soon.....don't wanna be too precious bout things as I'm up for a change of pace and setting if needs be.....

'eternal free spirit' = me :)

looking forward to my holiday - only next week to get through and I get to bugger off for 6 days....woop woop...dunno what I'm doing as of yet, money is still really tight (as is always) and I have my new board coming soooo maybe gonna stay and play in the fridges to get used to it....

ooooh - whilst on boards.....I'm getting an Atomic Polarity which I can't wait to get. It's a nice 'all rounder' board that is perfect for freestyle too. More flexy than my two other boards so should be perfecting butters very soon! (and now for the girly moment - its got a glitter topsheet and the sea disappears when its wet....oooooooh). Am also looking into getting an Atomic Fallen Angel (the female hatchet) for some serious park action :)

But for now I've gone on way too much - sooooo

Have great weekends peoples - get out and ride whatever you can be it air, water, land or even people if you're 'lucky' :P
