Skiboarding: Excuse me, did you say Dipset?

I got props on my blog skills, yo. This one goes out to Kendall, holler. Late night; early start. Out the door by 6:30. Meet up with Karl, Adam and Jeremy on the C-bus. Quick stop at McDonalds and we're off. I soon find out, much to my delight, that Adam will be rocking a full, hesh outfit for the afternoon. I'm talking tight-ass jeans, ammo belt, ripped, button-up vest and even a duct-taped snowboard. Killin' it! South park was pretty dope. I had a pretty wicked sesh. No bails, a few bangers; it was definitely fun. Adam was throwin some gnarly stuff on the down box. Butter to switch backside barley pretzel out? Wrap your head around that. I couldn't even name half the shi*t he was trying. Karl and Jeremy were killing it too, despite the icy conditions. One of the best days of riding I've had this year. Special guest appearances by Max and Kendall. Always a pleasure seeing people up there. I'll be at Tremblant tomorrow and Tuesday and hopefully getting some shots in the city this week. so this morning i heard that issac hayes has quit his job as the voice of 'chef' on south park... his reasoning?  he couldn't work somewhere where they disrespected religion so much.

now... he had no problem signing on with this show (who's pilot episode was santa fighting jesus over who gets christmas) but once they start making fun of scientology, he's bailing faster than john goodman in a leaky rowboat.  what is with these scientology people?  seriously guys.. its a cult.. i think if you involved jedi's, bigfoot and the female orgasm it would somehow seem more believable.  ok.. maybe not the legend of a female orgasm.. but you get the point.

why do these famous people love scientology so much?  sitting around waiting for jor-el or whatever... ok, maybe that was superman... but look what happened to him... fell off a horse...

why can't we all just get along and believe whatever we want and let other people make fun of whatever they want... so what i'll be going to your hell.  sounds to me like thats where all the cool people are going... plus, i don't like flying, so i don't want to get into any space ships with tom and katie... maybe my heaven is closer to your hell than you think

Skiboarding: Cap Guns and Butter Runs

I've just returned to Ottawa from two amazing, but completely different days at Tremblant. I love that snowboarding is always a brand new experience. You'll never experience it the same way twice. No two tricks will ever feel the same, no session will ever have the same vibe as another and no memory will be the same as any other memory. I picked Drew up on Monday night. We watched some shred videos and talked about riding before going to bed. I was getting pretty stoked. I felt like I hadn't been in a while and I had a good feeling about it. The next morning, we woke up, had some food, watched a documentary on fire and waited for Eric. He showed up at 7:30 and we were off. No CD player was interesting. We were forced to listen to French radio and OMG .. talk. We came up with the ingenius idea to purchase cap guns on the way up. A quick stop at the St.Jovite Dollarama and we were all armed with a Detective Special and enough rounds to last a few days. After our first run through South park, we met up with Karl and Adam. We contemplated filming, but it was just too nice out. It was definitely one of the more memorable sessions I've had this year. A good crew and good weather are all it takes, the rest comes naturally. After riding we crashed for a couple hours and got some food at St.Hubert. We watched Casino and passed the eff out. Apparently it rained a ton that night; we even heard thunder and saw lightning at one point. The next day we had breakfast and loaded up the car. We could see that the rain had really messed the snow up, but we didn't realize how bad it was until we got to the hill. Karl and Adam told us the both parks were closed. One quick ride up and it was confirmed. The park was completely destroyed, like every hit had tipped over. Regardless we managed to find shredable terrain all over the hill. It warmed up in the afternoon and we crafted a jib park out of wooden logs we found on the side of Nansen. It was a pretty exhausting day so we called it early. A quick bite at McDonalds followed by a long game of Sahara got us home. This blog isn't about home .. The End

DAMN YOU, EVIL ROCKS!!!


Ah another day out at the slopes last night. I'm getting used to riding alone again, as all of the MC crew are lame asses and never come riding. Either that, or I need to change my deodorant ;)

Anyway, the night was pretty sweet..it was warm out.. like 40+ warm, which caused some snowmelt. Despite the warm weather, the conditions were pretty nice and I didnt suffer any major wipeouts.

Up at the smaller tabletop at South Park I managed to even land some tricks. Indys are now my b*tch. ;) Now to move up onto bigger and better things.

Some skiier got really hurt on that jump... so bad in fact that he may have possibly been airlifted out.. the airlift came for someone, and I only saw 2 injured people on the mountain around that time frame. I hope they're alright. =\

Anyway, I was going down the park and didnt see a dry spot and there was a big ass rock there, and I heard it just digging into my board. >=( Im sure I'll have to get the base repaired after that one.
