Campers were pumped to be riding big mountains, building backcountry jumps and thrashing the park while learning how to speak Spanish.  Special activities like traditional Argentine barbeques, sushi night and water polo kept them busy when we weren’t on the mountain.

We were lucky have some cool guest appearances.  Alterna action films came for two weeks in July with JF Fortin, Matt Beardmore and Travis Williams.  In the middle of August Mark Frank Montoya visited us and was actually more stoked about Spanish classes then some of the campers (YEA, we gave him homework!).  The Airblaster crew (Travis Parker, Robbie Sell, Sean McKay, Jake Welch, Jed Anderson, ect…) showed up in the end of August just in time to catch some pow and rip the mountain in two pieces.  During the super late September session Pat Milbery was on a daily mission to slay everything while we introduced him to some of the finer aspects of Argentine culture.  Some of the skiers in Las Lenas during our sessions were Dan Treadway, Jen Ashton, Billy Poole, Trevor Hiatt, Garrett Russell and Ryan Mckeeman.  

Our new web site will have more details about what actually happened this summer so we will be sure to send you the link once it is ready.  For now the word is that SASS has been killing it in Argentina all summer.   See you soon!

I Broke my front binding on my snowboard yesterday. They're the Ali Goulet Technine's from last season. They have a lifetime warranty so hopefully the Rep will be able to help me out. Manibou up at the shop at the hill said he'd hook it up. I think if i could get a new pair, I'd get the Mark Frank Montoya's with the toe strap dealio. gonna go riding again on tuesday.

Yay it's my Friday, and I'm pretty sure I have to do my fitness test either on Tuesday or Wednesday, not sure. Oh well, run around a track a few times and call it a day for the most part, if there are lots of people waitin till the last minute to get it done, I'll probably even cheat, lol j/k I would never do such a thing, uhhhhh, yeah thats right! Anyway, work is f*ckin boring right now, no planes are broken for me so yup, another lazy day. I can't wait, I'm hopefully buying my new setup soon! So far I've got a few choices, the one I like the most for now is the Endeavor Board of Directors model. It turns me on, lol. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pick up the Mark Frank Montoya bindings from Technine, but don't know for boots yet. but yeah, I really need a new setup, I miss my snowboarding! Courtesy of the Air Force I haven't done that for 2 seasons now. It's like life is draining from me. My leave better get approved too. I have 23 days of leave so far and I forecasted to use it in late December, those f*ckers better give it to me or I'll be extremely pissed. I kind of miss Idaho too right now, only because there isn't a lot of people there, I really would enjoy some peace right now.
