My Journal: married life...
By: tooscoops

so i am now married.

met my significant other from this site in fact.

joined this site just to track down a picture that a friend had of me.  little did i know that a snowboarding site would turn into a matchmaking site.  guess i shouldn't be too surprised as all it did was bring people together who had some similar interests.

anywho, kendrat and i *met* on here and began chatting.  we realized we had more than just snowboarding as a common interest.  our backgrounds were similar, many of our views were alike and our hobbies and pastimes were similar enough to allow great conversations.  after finally meeting in person at whistler, we hit it off and now, here we are.  just back from our honeymoon and lucky for me, 4 days worth of sitting in a car with me and a week sharing a condo hasn't changed how we feel about each other.

to those of you who have shared all the fun times with us over the last 5 years, thanks.  you are all awesome!  hopefully there will be many more memories made!

thought i'd include a few favourite photos from the wedding....

erynswim.jpg picture by tooscoops my new sister known as westcoastfvckup on here and oddity. eryn decided to see if the water in lake ontario really was as dirty as she had heard.

flowers.jpg picture by tooscoops  i'm pretty.  i have flowers to prove it.

dress.jpg picture by tooscoopsmy beautiful bride's dress... very kendra.... and somehow made her look even more beautiful.

I LOVE Japan!! Stoked to be there again for the Burton store Opening in Osaka!!

Japanese Madness. My ears and my eyes are overwhelmed lights, sounds and people everywhere.. polite, polite, maybe impossible, karaoke my favorite, sushi, crazy fashion, mini crewsers, best spray toilets ever, sake, photo, photo..

The cool thing on that trip was that we weren’t stock just between snowboarders.. Sweet to have Nicolas Muller in the crew as always but also gravis surfer Kassia Meador and Analog’s  Arto Saari!!
To honour japanese traditions we serve sake to all people coming to the event.. obviously we cheared with them, each of them and had a sip! But that was alright since there was only about 700 people.. Arto (wearing an dupa stylish 80’s wig) takes the mike and welcomes the crowed to the store opening with the gayest Carl Lagerfeld’s attitude ever!! Very fashionable..
The sake session is followed by a 3 hours signing session.. I find it hard to find 700 different very special dedicated comments to give to each of them.. so I just got artistic.. I drew moustaches, pretty flowers and about 650 I LOVE Nipon.. it s like writing fitness!!

Japanese people like to fire us with their digi cam.. so I just fire back with my plastic one way use camera!!

That super people shower luckily came to an end and the whole burton extended crew went for dinner.. I sit next to Moblow and his wig, he tells that girl who was wearing a moustache something like she was nice and doll, or something like that.. she didn’t like it and answered that she could beat him up.. I said he would love it!! So she punshed him in the eye and left him with nothing else then a black eye.. you shouldn’t mess around with those girls who wear the moustache!! The night goes on to a karaoke bar.. my all time favorite!!
Marc and I end up walking with no where to go in town.. a guy is pying in the street, I run and catch the perfect moment and angle.. all his friends laugh, so do i.. I really wish I hadn’t forgotten the cap on my almost digi and actually got the shot!!

The next day, the snowboarders crew travels to a dome.. tons of people come to watch.. they are like an orchestra.. I make them do the HOLA.. I take some family portraits etc.. everyone is so happy and friendly here!! Trevor sings, we sign tons of things.. everyone politely waits in line for hours.. that is what impresses me most from Japanese.. they are soo patient and respectfull!

The next day we are all in Tokyo for he first birthday of the burton store.. everyone sits down like kids in school..cute!! they watch the movie.. we get a huge cake in snowboard shape with bindings.. Jeremy Jones claims he is gay, some more pictures, signing and graffity later I drag Arto, his sushi and Moblow to a gay bar on a Monday night.. everything you need to become intimate with the bar tenders!! Some more karaoke and this trip made it to my top 3 favorite trips ever!! 1000 Thanks to my friend Kosuke who makes each of my Japanese experiences magic!!

I sat down to play this game of chess

I cozied my seat and settled in and that's where I ran into this mess of a game and it's kind of a shame.

Underestimated his witz and was put to the test.

Unfortunately I played famously lame and his high approved rave was well acclaimed.

But don't take my credit, let us not forget

Where I'd move, his pieces were set.

And yet I played deffensive, maybe a little far fetched.  His piece evasive and mine he'd collect.

Perplexed a little, sunk in the seat, I took time to think and within a blink...

I regret to speak; That was my defeat.

See, the game of chess takes a little finesse and if you go on tilt you will only confess to stress.

It got the best of you, you guess?

Get some rest and tackle it tomorrow, instead of just baffle and trapped in sorrow.

Of course there will be better days because flowers bloom as a result of rain.  He said good game and asked to replay

I thought yes but bit my tongue to say

Rephrased no in a delicate way.  I glanced up at his name and with a grinning frame, I said "Go f*ck your mother and have a nice day!"

It blows my mind that Christian groups in the United States are boycotting "The Golden Compass."  If their beliefs are as strong as they believe them to be then surely they can take a little questioning.
Here is a great read from Mark Moford regarding this issue.
-----

It has become a rule, some sort of law of the popular culture upon which any open-minded human worth her soul can rely with utter and perfect clarity.

It goes like this: If there is a piece of art, a TV show, a column, a book, a movie, a blog, a movement, a wine bottle or sexual position that somehow deeply threatens the various ultraconservative sects of Christian-blasted America to the point where their pale, dour representatives demand boycotts and distribute angry pamphlets to try to stop people from experiencing said hunk of culture because of how negatively it portrays their seething, condemnatory God, well, it's time to break out the Champagne. Or buy that book. Or get very, very naked. Or all of the above.

So it is with the first movie made from Philip Pullman's astonishing "His Dark Materials" trilogy, "The Golden Compass," a complex, mystically gorgeous, spiritually dense, big-budget fantasy epic so far removed from the cute wizardry of Harry Potter and the thin, childish, monochromatic Christian morality of, say, "The Chronicles of Narnia," that it might as well be a Coen brothers movie. On acid.

Oh my God yes - they are protesting. They are pamphleting. From the Catholic League and Focus on the Family to evangelical/fundamentalist Christian blogs from here to Colorado Springs, they are calling on their trembling armies to boycott the film because they believe that Pullman's brilliant books - which, by the way, if I had the power, I would place in the eager hands of every youngish human on the planet, especially the girls - are not only aggressively anti-Christian, but that they also describe, as their grand finale, nothing less than the death of God. This is what they say.

And here is the terrific thing: They are absolutely right.

But let's be a bit more specific, shall we? Because as any fan of "HDM" knows, it ain't really about God, per se. Pullman's luminous novels have nothing to do with rejecting faith or destroying the spirit or inhibiting the exploration of what it means to be divine. They are, in fact, the exact opposite. They relish spirit and the magic of belief and love, are soaked through with divine inspiration of a kind any intelligent Christian (or honest spiritual seeker of any stripe, for that matter) should crave. This is what makes them so incredible.

The nefarious thing the books aim to kill is religious authority. It's about the destruction of dogma. It's about power, about who wants to control and manipulate life on Earth, about the blind, ignorant, even violent adherence to insidiously narrow codes of thought, belief, behavior, sex, desire and love.

This, of course, is the God of organized religion. This is the false deity that promotes numb groupthink, inhibits growth and abhors the feminine divine (perhaps the books' most beautiful, inspiring theme), the same paranoid, dreadful God that votes for George W. Bush because he will smite the icky gays and protect us from vile pagans and Buddhists and Muslims and feminists and frumpy genius atheist British writers. If humanity is to flourish, to get over its addiction to war and guilt and fear, this is the false God that should - that must - die.

Although the books have as their evil antagonist a sinister cabal called the Magisterium (obvious parallel: Catholic Church), they also have a slew of dark characters in service of the Magisterium, various assassins, double agents and robot drones running around trying to annihilate the children's spirit, destroy magic and lock down faith forever. Let us call these robotic drones, oh, say, the Catholic League. Or Focus on the Family. Gosh, no wonder they're a little peeved.

But it's almost too easy, is it not? Even a child can see that these people are so far from true spirit, so far from open consciousness, it's a bit like comparing a lint ball to a cloud bank, a dung beetle to a flower bed. They are spiritual caricatures, the creepy clowns in organized religion's gloomy circus, all scrunched brows and gnarled hands and so much repressed sexuality that it would make a porn star wince. Really, why give their silly protests any attention at all?

For one thing, because these groups have proven that they can be highly dangerous, utterly toxic to the culture as a whole. You already know the list - FCC crackdowns, stem cell research, ultraconservative judges, abstinence education, anti-choice laws, vicious homophobia, intelligent design, the rejection of science - all of which aim for the creation of a fascist theocracy in America.

In fact, director Chris Weitz, who adapted "The Golden Compass" for the screen, reportedly removed any direct mentions of God or religion from the film version, fearing, along with New Line Cinema, some sort of Christian conservative backlash. Fans were, appropriately, outraged. It remains to be seen how much of those vital themes Weitz left intact, but you could argue that the Bible-thumpers have already taken their sad toll.

(But I do look forward to the bloodcurdling screams that will surely come from these groups when they see the third film, which, if the creators hold at all true to the original book, and presuming the movie gets made at all, features a pair of wonderful, immensely powerful, tragic gay angels.)

It might not matter. With any luck, and if "The Golden Compass" turns out to be even half as wondrous as the book, it will hopefully fuel a surge in sales of the "HDM" trilogy in America and, perhaps, inspire a new literary awakening among young readers, darker and more complex and even (gasp) slightly sexual, far beyond the clever but innocuous magic of Harry Potter - which, by the way, had its share of religious bonk-jobs calling for its destruction, as wizardry is clearly the dominion of the devil. We all know what a huge drop in sales that protest caused.

But there is another note of good news from this tale of fear and whining and outcry, and it takes the form of another delightful rule upon which your soul can happily rely, as well as a heartfelt lesson for trembling ultraconservative sects everywhere.

It's this: If your ancient, authoritarian, immutable belief system is threatened by a handful of popular novels, if your ostensibly all-powerful, unyielding creed is rendered meek and defenseless when faced with the story of a fiery, rebellious young girl who effortlessly rejects your stiff misogynistic religiosity in favor of adventure, love, sex, the ability to discover and define her soul on her own terms, well, it might be time for you to roll it all up and shut it all down and crawl back home, and let the divine breathe and move and dance as she sees fit. Don't you agree?

INNOCENT AT HEART by Keesha Scott

 one of my fav songs

WE WERE ONLY 17
HE WAS EVERYTHING TO ME
EVERYTHING I WASN'T

HE TAUGHT ME WHAT LOVE WAS ALL ABOUT
MADE ME FEEL BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT
FEELINGS I JUST TRUSTED

I WAS NERVOUS BUT UNAFRAID
I PUT MYSELF IN THE ARMS OF FATE

WE'D RUN OFF TO THAT SPECIAL PLACE
MAKING MEMORIES TIME CAN'T ERASE
UNDERNEATH THE MOON AND THE STARS
WILD HORSES COULDN'T KEEP US APART
WE WERE GUILTY OF LOVE BUT INNOCENT AT HEART

WILD FLOWERS BENEATH OUR FEET
OUR BODIES WASHED IN THE SUMMER HEAT
I WANTED HIM TO KISS ME
I FELT HIS BREATH AGAINST MY LIPS
I TOUCHED HIS SKIN WITH MY FINGERTIPS
I FELL COMPLETELY

WHEN THAT SUMMER CAME TO AN END
WOULD I EVER FEEL LIKE THAT AGAIN

THE SMELL OF RAIN
TAKES ME BACK TO THAT TIME
AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
YOU'RE STILL ON MY MIND

Yesterday in class, one of my student came up to me with this little flower pot made out of foam and a few flowers in it.  He hands it to me and says, happy mother's day.  I had to do everything to not laugh.. or cry.  Apparently to a 5 year old, I am so old that I need to be a mom.

That being said, it was my birthday yesterday and the kids found out and asked how old I was. I said 12.  and they had no problem believing this.  I wonder how many parents will send me notes on monday saying, my kid thinks you're 12... you better start working on his/her math skills!

kids... gotta love them.... as long as they are someone elses.

I feel you when you’re not beside me

I feel you when you’re not here

I just want you to know

That I love you my dear.

Sitting here alone again

Sitting here so solemnly

Sitting wishing you were here

Holding me so closely.

I want to tell you everything

I want to let you know

I wish I could just spill it all

That this isn’t just a show.

I’m afraid what you’ll say to me

I’m afraid you’ll just laugh

I’m really scared to hurt again

Though I want you bad.

I’m really waiting patiently

I’m really waiting true

I’m waiting for you sitting here

Wondering what to do.

Hoping that I’m not lead on

Hoping that you care

Hoping that you’ll take the chance

Why don’t we just dare?

Dare to love and dream again

Dare to hope and feel

Dare to hold you close again

Let’s make this a deal.

I feel you warm my frozen heart

I feel you heat my soul

I feel the love you want to share

You filled and made me whole.

Like a wondering sun

Like a fluttering flower

Like a poison deep inside

You came and took it all away

Yet once again I died.

5. You went to dinner with: my dad, and proceded to get durnk prior to me going to a house party
6. You talked on the phone: fifi
7. Said I love you to you and really meant it: oh, no one ever really means it. You're all just using me for my wealth and obvious talents.
8. Broke your heart: N/A. Oh wait, the time I was really craving an Ice Cap but Tim Horton's was closed...24 hours, my ass </3
9. Made you laugh: myself. I'm a riot.

WOULD YOU RATHER?

2. Be serious or be funny: even when I try to be serious it's still funny.
3. Drink whole or skim milk: eww. I can't do dairy
4. Die in a fire or drown: as much as I think it'd be cool to feel my own flesh melt off my bones...
5. Spend time with your parents or enemies: I torture the two respective groups equally. But my parents have a better sense of humour about it.

DO YOU PREFER..
1. Flowers or candy: candy.
2. Grey or black: Black
3. Color or Black and white photos: ..it doesn't really matter, I look the same in both. Ha ha, now I'm laughing at myself again. I really am a riot.

9. Got high: i didn't in hale...
10. Danced Crazy: ... gah whistler's awesome...
11. Gotten your hair cut: never. I've decided to just let it grow and grow, until it finally grows into one giant unattractive dreadlock at the back of my head. This will then force me to use my personality to meet new people, because it sure as hell won't be my looks attracting men by that point.
12. Cried: no. I generally don't cry.

Tell her how you admire her.
Always tell her you love her, at all times.
When shes upset, hold her tight.
Pick her over all the other girls you hang out with.
Play with her hair, pick her up,
tickle her, and wrestle with her.
Just talk to her. Tell her jokes.
Bring her flowers, just because.
Hold her hand & run, just hold her hand.
Throw pebbles at her window at night.
Let her fall asleep in your arms.
Sing to her no matter how awful you sound.
Get her mad at you, then kiss her.
Give her piggy back rides.
Push her on swings.
Tell her she looks beautiful.
When she's sad, stay on the phone with her,
even if she's not saying anything.
Look into her eyes and smile.
Kiss her on her forehead.
Slow dance with her even if theres no music.
Kiss her in the rain.<3

Having started as a leftist fledgling in 1972, the SP has, at the beginning of the 21st century, become a factor in Dutch politics and society that is impossible to ignore. We will briefly sketch this eventful history.

Workers march for better wages, 1973How it started

The foundation of the SP on Sunday 22 October 1972 wasn’t really that special. After all, these were the times when many political parties were formed, transformed and deformed. Especially on the left wing of the political spectrum it was a busy time. Inspired by the Beatles, the Stones, Bob Dylan and flower power mainly young people in Western Europe and North America had attacked the sacred cows of the post war era. “Social change” was high on the agenda of everyone on the left. Those were the days of big ideals. The Netherlands must be turned upside down, capitalism must disappear, and socialism would soon reign on earth, starting in the Netherlands. In 1972 that didn’t sound exaggerated. Society seemed adrift.

From socialism to a 'social ism'

In its first years, the SP was called a “Maoist” party. That is to say that beside the traditional Marxist criticism of capitalism it was the political views of the Chinese rebel leader and statesman that served as a guideline. Wasn't it the great Mao Tsetung who had made sure that one-fourth of the world population was no longer hungry and suppressed by bosses – while elsewhere suppression and exploitation were of the order of the day? Fine lines about nice ideals, but for the SP members it was only hearsay. The more they learned about China, the more reality appeared to differ from illusion. The “Chinese love affair” came to an end. The young SP distanced itself from teachers from faraway lands and became a party that was focused on the Netherlands. A very practical SOCIAL ism took the place of theoretical socialism. Everywhere in the country the SP lent a helping hand to residents, tenants, consumers, employees. They even ran their own medical centres, employing their own doctors, and demonstrating in a very practical way how they wanted to shape the public health sector. Thus the SP became a special party: strong and successful at the base, but without a national presence or views on national issues. The need for that was lacking. Everything took place locally. The SP may have been registered as a national political party, but in practice it operated as a “federation of local branches”.

Fifteen years later

Fifteen years after the foundation of the SP the political landscape looked completely different.
In 1977 the experimental government of left PvdA (Labour Party) leader Joop den Uyl which had come to power in 1973 had to go. The popularity of radical left wing parties was waning. Most had gone or lingered on in a weakened condition. The Communist CPN disappeared from Parliament, and the Pacifist PSP was no longer attractive. A few years later they, together with the PPR, merged into GroenLinks (Green Left). But the SP is quite a different story. Its goal was to “go to the people”. The members, initially many of them from universities and polytechnics, worked in the neighbourhoods and factories, increasing the number of members. In municipal elections those who had got to know them showed their appreciation. In 1986 the SP had some 40 council members. But in national elections other things count for voters, and the party's attempts to get into Parliament repeatedly failed.

Windows open

In 1987 the national party congress concluded that it was high time to modernize its “socialist” message: people should feel that SP was an attractive organisation in which they could recognize themselves. After some difficulties the “federation of branches” was transformed into a national party which began to develop its own views on important issues, and which was doing its best to achieve a national image. The 1991 Congress opened up the party to everyone who could subscribe to its basic principles. The old deadwood, impeding the party's development, was cast off. “Marxism-Leninism” was officially abandoned. From now on, the predicate “socialist” would suffice as the party's political compass.

A “minimum programme for a socialist Netherlands” was drafted. It was called Manifesto 2000, with “a society for people” as the subtitle. In the short term, the party congress made a breakthrough to Parliament its strategic priority.

Tomatoes and Oppositional Voices

In 1993, in order to achieve the parliamentary breakthrough, the party leadership made its most daring decision ever. Instead of telling the electorate to vote SP for a better society – worthy ideals for a distant future – the party chose a more rational and better thought out position: that of radical and effective opposition. “Vote against, vote SP” became the provocative slogan. The message being: if you don't agree with current politics, vote for us. Then we can voice your dissent in Parliament. You don't need a majority for that, even one person would do. The new strategy is symbolized by a tomato. Full of healthy vitamins, but also a feared weapon against bad political theatre.

The new approach finally caught on. Twenty years after its foundation the SP was seen by others as something new. After the municipal elections of March 1994 the party grew from 70 to 126 councillors. And on 3 May 1994 the SP won its first two seats in the Lower House, Parliament's main legislative chamber. This parliamentary breakthrough was the start of a period of spectacular growth for the party as a whole. In the first place the number of members, which for some time had been around 15,000, expanded tumultuously. Within four years it had increased to over 25,000, making the party the fourth biggest in members. This growth came from various sides. The SP “new style” became attractive for former voters and members of PvdA and GroenLinks, who found their parties surrendering to the advance of neo-liberal politics and who would rather hear the “red answer to (the) Purple (Government)” – as the coalition of right-wing liberal VVD, centrist D66 and Labour was known. 1995 brought the first seat in the Senate, after successful provincial elections, members of the Upper House or Senate being elected by provincial councillors. Outside parliament people made headway as well. Key issues, like the fight against the growing social divide, were tackled in original ways. The 1998 elections yielded five parliamentary seats and thanks to successful provincial elections (19 seats) the party won two seats in the Senate. The party appointed 'wethouders' – local councillors occupying positions analogous to ministers in a national government – in a number of towns in the southern province of Brabant. In June 1999 came the first seat in the European Parliament. The SP was now represented on all parliamentary levels.

The fees that SP representatives receive are handed over to the party (under the agreement that noone should profit from such a position), so the increase in MPs and other elected representatives also led to a substantial expansion of the party's financial resources. This money was partly used to develop a professional organisation that supported the work of the party and its MPs, as well as numerous campaigns and activities.

There was also an increase in quality, especially in the way the MPs operated. In a short time the previously unknown party leader Jan Marijnissen became one of the country's most renowned politicians. At the end of 1996 he gave a “Red answer to Purple” in "Tegenstemmen" (Oppositional Voices, available in English under the title Enough!), articulating the SP's modern vision of politics and society. "Tegenstemmen" was a clear criticism of the advance of neoliberalism, the erosion of the social democratic PvdA (since 1994 governing the country together with liberal VVD and D66 in the ‘purple’ coalition) and the implications for society of “every man for himself”. But it was also a book without dogmas, another development in the SP philosophy.

SP 2000 and after

Sometimes new ideas are spread faster horizontally than vertically. This shows when the spectacular increase is accompanied by growing pains. More than once, new SP-councillors didn’t appear to fit in with the traditional frameworks, or hadn’t settled in yet; some resigned after a short career. Clashes occurred between old staff and new members and the media didn’t fail to notice this. Quantitative growth threatened to result in loss of quality. With two congresses in the final year of the 20th century the party put its ideological and organizational affairs in order. Now that the national breakthrough had taken place the party congress of 1999 decided to prioritize what the SP had always done best: working at a local level. At the congress of 18 December the party laid down a new manifesto, The Whole of Humanity, in which the basic idea of society was formulated and the party's alternatives were outlined.

The general elections of 2002 turned out into a real voters rebellion against the governing ‘purple’ coalition of social democrats and liberals. The coalition parties were halved, to the benefit of the spectacular new populist party of Pim Fortuyn (murdered ten days before the elections), the oppositional Christian democrats – and the Socialist Party. The results proved that the SP had become a factor in Dutch politics and society. Nearly 600,000 voted for the SP (whose slogan had now changed to “Vote for, vote SP”), thus giving it an additional four seats. And at the same time the party passed the mark of 30,000 members. Just a few months later the new right wing coalition of CDA, VVD and Fortuynists had already collapsed, and new elections took place. The SP succeeded in increasing once more its number of votes but this did not result in more seats, despite the party having received a more sympathetic response than ever during the election campaign. Unfortunately, many citizens were influenced by the neck-and-neck race between social democrats and Christian democrats and in spite of their sympathy for the SP gave their vote to the PvdA. The SP did nevertheless become the fourth party in Parliament and one of the major opponents of the right wing government of CDA, VVD and D66. The provincial elections of 2003 resulted in seats in eleven out of twelve provinces, doubling the two seats in the Upper House.

The 12th party congress laid down new tasks for the future, with enhanced activities at all levels as a recurring theme.

In 2004 two seats were won in the European Parliament, and the SP also won its first representative in the parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe. Together with the trade unions and other left parties the SP organised the biggest demonstration ever in the Netherlands, against the government’s social policy. In 2005 the party played a very important role in the campaign against the neoliberal European Constitution. Nearly two thirds of the Dutch voters reacted positively and said ‘NO’ – despite the fact that all major parties were in favour of the proposed constitution. Thanks to successful local elections, the SP doubled its seats in local councils in 2006. National elections in November 2006 resulted in massive gains for the SP. The party almost tripled its number of seats in the Lower House, Parliament’s main legislative chamber, to twenty-five and is now the third party of the Netherlands, both in seats and membership. Total membership rose to over 50,000 just as elections were taking place.

Hey this is brock right now my life sucks. The wrong turns i made in life turn my back on my friends leaving people who i care about behind that should really care about. The wrong turns i went through in my life is getting in fights with some of my friends and cant go outside because of afraid of getting jumped or people will say stuff that will hurt my feelings. And my life is falling to peaces because of my heart problems no girls want me because i dont get out side that much but i met this girl online she said when shes done school that we move together. Be each other when me or her is hurt or have something together. I will treat her with respect and not say things will hurt her because i dont wanna be like that. I waas like that to my friends in my life. Some people say whats life for we live then die. Thats when i come in and tell life not for living and dying you get to have kids and watch them grow and grow. You get to see how beautful they look when they are small when you wrap your arms around them and you touch their skin and its smooth and u dont wanna never let go of her or him. They'll be there for you no matters what happens. When you need to cry they'll be there. If you need help when you are help They'll all be there. I know im not a adult right now im only 16teen but soon 17teen im figure out how my life will go step by step filling in the peaces well i go along in time. Having thoughts of what i wanna do in my years as i grow. Write down my problems think of what job i want, laughing and playing with the friends i have now barely worrying about anybody jump me. If anyone wants to to my love from me you cant but only share it with me. So i'll show you how my life is going right now. Im just waiting for that one girl to be with me. Do things with our kids just watching to see if they grow up like us. See how well they did better than us in school and see what they'll pick for their path in life. Then after their done high school you dont want them to leave i know we cry to see them go but they are finding their family to make. Then we'll see their kids grow and our kids grow up to be happy just like us. When you love someone you'll do the crazy thing that you cant explain. You'll tell the truth and all the happy feelings that you could never tell anyone. Then one day you'll see your girl has somethings in life that she really needs to tell you and you'll be there for anything even if you have to miss something in important thats sacrifice. You will see how much you love them and never want to let them go. you'll want them allways in your arms forever reasons. But i have been through some of this when there was times my friends were saying that they didn't want to be my buddy because some reasons i wasn't there for them. When i first moved to Kingston Ontario i thought i had losted all my friends but like a month or two in i might some of the best friends i every had. And some went in there own path but the true friends stick together but thats what i think i dont know about you. I'm that kind of guy thats healthy and like to have fun, hanging with friends and meeting knew people.

Page 2
Today i am going talk about pain the things in go through in life. Like today i got rushed in amulbance because i had troubles breathing. It's just because i have heart problems that we're trying to fix. They say it because of stress. Just thinking about about things will make me worry and i have so much things on my mind that im trying to get rid of. And now im going to start talking about pain. There are things in life that you you want to say but it wont come out and you dont wanna say it because you think they'll laugh or make fun of you. But just forget them and tell it from the heart. If people laugh its just because they are having problems and they cant say what they wanted to say but you beat them and now their laughing at you. All u have to say that you can tell it and not hide it from others. So when someone laughs at you know that they are just hiding their thoughts. Now what about your mom or dad is in the hospital and you want to be there for them every step but you cant you get kicked out. Jus t dont give up that easy you wait and wait to see if their ok. While you watch them go through the pain their in buy something for them like flowers everyone likes them. Just wait outside of the room if you cant go in you will be with them even if they think your not. Now when one of your family members died and let go of their sprits dont forget they'll be in your dreams and thoughts. Dont go drinking that one drink that you take you'll just want more and more until one day you lose your life in that one drink you took at the beggining. Then you will look back and see it again and again you want more but they are trying to get to you and say dont go through what i had done or the path they took to get we're they are this day and forever. Now just imagine you going down that path they took and you dont care about anyone one know more. Now just think about all the people you are hurting in your life your family your friends that helped you when you didn't have nobody there just think and now think about the drinks and now hows it is messing up your life just think and think of what they would say to you in those last words before they go and their gone. Here you are crying how you drinked some of the peaces that you wanted to keep in your heart. Now you are feeling bad you know what you can listening to of what they of said and turn your life around like your free. You have rights don't forget that you can do anything but don't drink since you know what that feeling feels like. I want this to get out there and let people know before they drink before it erases those memorys. You can write me anytime you feel like so don't feel bad what you have to tell there's no worry's i wont talk no one i promise. I just want to be that one guy who helps you out. Just tell me how your life is going or if you just want to skip the begining and tell me whats wrong thats ok and its fine by me. So just write me anytime ok see ya later.

Page 3
Am going to talk about love. First thing love is something that two people feel about each toher its like butterflys in both of your stomach. People will never love you if our trying to be someone else you have to be you for always. So why do people say they dont love you maybe they dont feel the love from you. Just ask them if they feel it. You dont have to be shy just tell him or her they'll understand. You have to believe me on that i have been through all that in my life so far. I didn't tell one of my best friends and she didn't think i was telling the truth and i wans't but now i can never lie to a girl now but show them the shape of my heart. They'll have to feel it from their soul. Once they do if they believe you then you'll know that the girl is waiting for you to see if you will stay with her. I been with girls through my life for like 3 years and 2 years trying to see if they just want to be together forever. But some of them cheated on me or dumped me im not shy for telling you all of this. Im trying to help people get together so they'll when it happens to them. I want them just to feel what is to be love and be caring each other be there for each other no matter what happens. If their hurt bad stay there dont go just incase they past you want to hear that couple last words they say before they are off into the air. You'll be lonely but they'll always be there with you. In your thoughs and your feelings. You wish you could have anthor girl just like her you can have anyone if you get out there and try your best for her. If you know its the girl you want to love geet her flowers any girl will like that. THen ask her if she wants to grab something to eat. Then work from there until that one day you get her you'll be happy and your feeling those butterflys in your stomach and you know its the right one. Then you can have kids if you want and your ready. I love the girls that want to be with me and share thoughts and feelings because i know i will find that girl thats just hanging on until i find her. Thats when i care for her and how good she looks everyday. When her hair smells like through the wind thats when you want grab her and will you marrie me and she will most likely say yes. Both of you will a happy ending together and dont for get that moment when you got down on your knees and you had that feeling in your head i'll be with you no matters what happens to both of you. Will see you guys and girls.

Page 4
Have anyone of you everythink you didn't belong in a group where you just didn't want to work with the people around you. Just give it a try and you will maybe make more friends that will care for you be there most of those path you make. Some people make fun of your music but your music is helping you get through things in life that people cant help you with. But you'll that day or night when you need someone with you because your afraid that you'll not make it through the night without that person or friends. Friends are there for anything you need even when you have tears in your eyes when those tears just about to drop someone you love will come and wipe them off your face you'll not have to cry anymore you need to tell them whats wrong or whats going on thats making you cry. I been through that before when my girlfriend cry I ask her what was wrong and she told me because she loved me and i didn't want her to hurt in anyway it just makes me sad. I know when a girl cry they want to share something with you but they are afraid to tell you because they might think you will take the wrong question the wrong way. So when your girl is hurt just not joking saying that you promise. Say it from your heart i know you dont want to but if you dont make that choice your going to hurt and it will stay with you forever. First you have to sit them down and im not trying to be mean but tell them you love them and they have to trust you even when she is hurt you have to tell her to tell you because its not going to go away if you just sit there and do nothing. Ask her whats wrong,is there anything i can do for you,is it me or did i do something i hurt about your feelings. Just give her a chance to talk to who every she wans't if she doesn't tell you. I know everything about this because i been through this to just take steps after steps. I hope this helps you in your life. Thanks for listening to me if you do have any questions hit my site and i'll answer to all ok thanks again.

3 billion years ago a species evolved that was radically different than any other species of life on earth before. It flourished due to its lack of competition in resources and soon started to over run the planet. It evicted other species in its push for new territory to conquer. This fierce competition for space caused a large number of species to become extinct. Eventually, the sheer mass this new species accumulated started to pollute the atmosphere with its poisonous byproduct, which caused even more extinctions. Than the earth began to cool. This new species was the cause for the first of four great extinction periods in Earth's bio-history, and it was the worst of them all.

The new species was green algea. Its poisonous, climate changing byproduct was oxygen. It thrived in the vast warm oceans and carbon dioxide rich atmosphere of early earth. It was radically different than the other life because it was carbon based, and it used
photosynthesis to produce energy. It also became the foundation for all other subsequent
life on earth. After the great changes it made, the polar ice caps formed and the ocean
levels dropped, making high dry places where the algea couldn't grow. Suddenly, algea was no longer as effective as it once was, and there were new lands to conquer for other, hardier species to evolve and use. Ferns, than shrubs, than flowers and trees took over these spaces. Fish crawled out of the water to eat these new growths. Amphibians, than reptiles and eventually mammals roamed and grazed the fields and forests. Life continued as it had for billions of years, surviving algea, meteors and ice ages by adapting to the changes.

The earth is presently at the peak of yet another change caused by a species that evolved to be radically different than any other life on earth before. Unlike the green algea before, it is aware of the changes it is making as well as the consequences of those changes. It is assumed that those changes are bad, but this is only because it is in the nature of animals to fear change. Like it is incorrect for a fundamentalist to wish for the days of old when they were ruled by a religious order, or a baby boomer to believe that the days of their childhood were better, so it is incorrect to resist the coming change in climate.

If the previous experience of green algea is any indication, the climate will change and the mass extinction will continue. However, the green algea still exists, just not in the
numbers it once did. In other words, the planet will find a balance, regardless of what we
do.

And life will continue.

and man was it amazing. i had such an awesome time, met so many great people and relaxed my ass off. ate delicious food (and some not so delicious food... damn misleading buffets!) every day, enjoyed the sunshine and the BEACH. oh man, the beach.

miles and miles of sand and sun and more sand. and pretty much deserted, as we were at the only resort within the area. there were coral reefs just offshore, and so we spent lots of time snorkelling around them. saw some interesting corals and fish, and we even met a spear fisherman trailing a long line of fish, strung through their gills. every morning after breakfast we'd walk along the beaches... through the mangroves, and wading through the shallows, swimming whenever we felt like it. there was always a game of beach volleyball going on that we could join in, then at noon it was time to learn the merengue on the beach.

after merengue lessons it was aerobics time, when we got to watch muscly men in spandex shorts run on the spot and hump thin air while we ran on the spot and humped thin air right along with them. (this was before we discovered stretching class with eryn's favourite perv-recipient)

after lunch, it was nap (siesta) time. i don't know who the brilliant person was who invented siesta time, but i owe him/her a HUGE thank you. with the siesta i was able to play volleyball and swim all afternoon, and last all night on the dance floor.

about five times a day, we'd hear the resort theme song, and be coerced into dancing the choreography to the song. the entertainment staff (some of the cutest girls and boys i've ever seen) was great at convincing everyone we really wanted to dance, and not only dance, but sing along with the song. by the end both eryn and i had the choreography down pat, even if we did miss a few of the thrusts due to bad timing. what can i say, uncoordination runs in the family.

speaking of the entertainment staff, they are the ones who kept us going, and who made our stay so amusing. eryn and i would walk around the pool, and as soon as one of them saw us, they'd shout "SEESTERS!" and we'd be talked into a round of bocce ball, sandal flipping, volleyball, ping pong... you name it, we did it. and at night, the whole family would be out, and we'd get called up as "seesters and mami and papi!". made it like one big family. and i am proud to say we met an italian man named fabio! what a fantastic name! we'd never met a fabio before... fabio. he was a good dancer too. and almost as crazy as eryn and i. and without further ado, may i introduce the one and only, FABIO!

for the first three days of our stay it was sunny and warm and beautiful. for the fourth day it was rainy and warm and beautiful. day number five was mixed sun and cloud and warm and beautiful. days six and seven were more of the same. are we seeing a pattern here!? warm and beautiful!!!! it was great. even on the cloudy days we could wear bikinis around, which i'm sure the old men at the resort appreciated.

one of our days we spent on a "jeep safari". we took an open bus through the backroads of the dominican, into the interior. we saw a lot of the dominican people, their houses, their ways of life, their children. most of the people travel by motorbike/dirtbike. quite a few by donkey/horse, and more by SUV/4WD. makes sense, since the roads are pretty crappy. we did a lot of bouncing around in the jeep, and seatbelts were useful and mandatory. we stopped at a rubber production ... house. there was rubber hanging everywhere to dry, and a press to thin it out. the children gave us flowers and wanted to be in every picture we took. i had one young boy so intrigued by my camera that he spent ten minutes watching the display screen and comparing it to what was really in front of him. and whenever i went to take a picture of something, he ran to be in the shot. after that, we travelled through the jungle some more, through streams and over hills, to a farm. there we sampled the local produce, and my god was it delicious. fresh fruits, cocoa beans, coffee, coconut... i'd never had fresh fresh coconut before, and man was it tasty. i could've eaten that and nothing else for the rest of the trip, but then i'd have been pooping constantly, because fresh coconut is probably the best laxative out there. i mean.... girls don't poop. right. anyways. we had hot chocolate made directly from cocoa beans, i dont know what they put in it, but i felt like i was in heaven. then it was bananas covered in grated cocoa and honey made from coffee flowers. damn, i'm drooling just writing about this. ok, time to move on... let's just say, dominican food rocks!

after another drive, we stopped at a ranch for lunch, where we witnessed a cockfight. now, the roosters just pecked at each other, and the ranchers didn't let them kill each other, but it's a national sport so to expose us tourists to the culture, it was deemed necessary. i thought it was interesting, my dad was disgusted. there ya go. our tour guide warned us not to eat too much at lunch, because we were off to the beach next for a walk and a swim. it was an awesome beach, full of volcanic rocks and even more sand. plus the surf was up high, so it made for some fun wading around as we had to wait for the wave to recede before we could get around the rocks! after the beach it was on to the waterfall, where most of us enjoyed a short walk (i heard one of the older ladies complaining - she was rather large) to the river. we all cooled off in the water under the fall, and a local boy jumped into the pool from 40 feet up a tree. finally it was time to return to the resort, after a long day. it was an eye opener to be sure, seeing more of the less well-off areas of the island. the one thing that stuck out for me was how happy everyone was. not just the children, but the adults smiled and waved as the bus went past. there didn't seem to be any resentment towards foreigners, and i thought that was pretty special.

on the day we walked to the closest town, las terrenas, it poured rain on us. during the downpour, a taxi stopped in front of us, offering us a lift. as we only had enough for the taxi ride home, we declined, but he insisted he was going to las terrenas anyways, and he would take us there for free. i thought that was pretty cool of him, he wanted to chat and practise his english. eryn and i met another man like that on our very first day. he was sitting on the beach above the high tide mark, and he beckoned us over. initially i thought he was a beach vendor, but he just wanted to "talk english" with us.

at the resort, the entire staff was also very friendly and helpful. i know the entertainment crew were paid to be so, but it wasn't just them, and everyone seemed genuine in their happiness to be with the guests. every night at dance time, the staff would walk through the seated guests, picking them at random to dance with. it encouraged everyone to get up and dance and practise their newly learned merengue moves. eryn even graciously accepted me as her steady dance partner! we had fun with it, and other guests told us how much they'd enjoyed watching the two of us dance together. whether that was just the fact that they liked seeing two girls dancing together or whether we actually pulled off dancing as a couple, i don't know. either way, it was fun, and i'd go back any day! i just wish it wasn't an 8 hour plane ride to get there.

PS to anyone thinking of going there: sunscreen and lip balm are your friends. your bestest of best friends!
