And now I'm stuck here for another year and a half. I wish my degree was offered at IUSB or SMC or something. That is honest to God the only reason I'm still here. Stupid nasty big cities that have creeps on scooters everywhere are not cool!

I miss the old me. The old me with the great friends. I miss the Megan, Jordan, Matt, Drew days more than anything in the world right now. I think that's why I'm strugglin so bad right now haha.... Life just isn't the same. It's almost like Jordan and I were the glue, the "mom and dad" (like Drew said haha) that held us all together... and now we're done. Wow, newsflash, Megan... this all happened a year ago! Hah I'm gay. Anyway, I just hope that I don't start drifting away from Matt and Drew. I know Jordan and I have no hope... ::sigh:: A year and some later... umm... umm... why does the break-up still kind of suck? Haha. Life is just blah without those boys. They were always down for something. The people down here are boring as f*ck. All they do is drink... which is fun on occasion, but every night of the week? Flippin alcoholics haha. I miss wandering around downtown or playing poker and eating pancakes haha. I especially miss Swiss with them. I really don't think there will be a point in my life ever again that can compare to those days. And playing cards all day on Sundays with Jordan because there was never anything better to do haha. Well, it makes me feel better that he's with a real cool girl now, though. I won't lie... I think she's really good for him.

Time to move on. Finally. Blah.

I think I'm moving to Evansville for my second semester of school. Evansville is bangin! The only problem... no snow. And that is a huge problem. That's not until mid January though... so I'll still have some time at Swiss. Pluuusss... I donno. I'll be home in February twice for sure.... Yeah, this could work out.

I hate Elkhart. There's nothing left.

Just a short one for anyone that needs a laugh or cheering up today. Look up Lee Evans on Youtube (non-UK residents will probably know him from films like 5th Element and Mouse Trap), he is the only guy that ever makes me laugh out loud and enough to start crying.

Here are some of his:

Luckily I've seen him Live in Sheffield, great performance. So if you ever get the chance go see him.

My Journal: RIP
By: Swin

RIP Mandy
 you were way too young

Tragedy struck Friday on Otter Point Road near the Sooke Municipal office and fire hall.

A Honda CRX, driven by 17-year-old Amanda Anderson, lost control and collided with a Sooke district emergency truck as it approached the fire.

"In spite of attempts to resuscitate the driver, she died on scene," reported Sooke RCMP Constable Barb Cottingham on Friday Morning. The accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m.

"One of our fire trucks was coming back from our #2 fire hall for some general maintenance. He was hit by an oncoming car coming from the west on Otter Point Road," reported Mayor Janet Evans a short time later.

Each of the drivers were the lone occupants of their respective vehicles.

"It's very tragic," said the Mayor, "and my heart-felt sympathy goes out to the family."

The victim was a popular and successful student at Edward Milne community school, and she worked at the SEAPARC Leisure Centre as well. Tributes in her honour are, or soon will be, underway at EMCS, and SEAPARC.

My sisters best friend, and f*cking 17 years old. So awful.

September 11th
A day never to be forgotten.
Today we remember the people who lost their lives on today or because of today... I DO NOT support this war or the presidents motives to go to war. At the same time I will forever stand behind those who fight for our country. They need ALL of our thoughts and prayers. So to them I say thank you for risking your life to protect mine.
When we look at the 9/11 attacks, the war. Who has one. It certainly is not the united states. We have lost more then we could ever possibly gain. We have spent hundreds or billions of dollars and not only have they taken lives but look how many have been sacrificed by sending us into a war. All for what? Oh yes, so bush can save his fathers name. Well Bush I'm glad your fathers name is worth my friends and families lives.

PANASONIC INTRODUCES “SHARE THE AIR” VIDEO CONTEST IN CONJUNCTION WITH SPONSORSHIP OF DEW ACTION SPORTS TOUR

AST_postcard_front.jpg NEW YORK, NY (May 30, 2006) - Panasonic announces the "Share the Air" Video Contest, with an open call for action sports film submissions.

In the spirit of self-expression, creativity and sharing, the Panasonic "Share the Air" Video Contest welcomes participation from amateur filmmakers and industry professionals alike.

Panasonic understands that action sports are much more than tricks and thrills.  They're about creativity, self-expression, pushing yourself and having the time of your life.  That's Panasonic’s definition of "Share the Air."  What's yours? On May 17th, Panasonic challenged filmmakers to show what “Share the Air” means to them in the form of a 24-second action sports film.  Submitted videos will be reviewed and evaluated by Panasonic and renowned

>action sports filmmakers Ty Evans and Aaron Meza. Two Grand Prize Winners will each win a Panasonic HD video package worth over $16,000, including the new state-of-the-art AG-HVX200 High Definition camcorder, and $5,000 cash.  Winning submissions will also be considered for national broadcast as Panasonic television commercials.  In addition, four First Prize Winners will each win a video prize package worth over $1,000.

Submissions will be judged on the following criteria:

- Originality
- Creativity
- Expression of the “Share the Air” theme

Select films will be showcased on Panasonic’s Share the Air gallery at www.sharetheair.net/videos . Submissions will be accepted and prizes awarded for two distinct entry periods: May 17th – July 14th 2006 and July 15th – January 15th, 2007. One Grand Prize Winner and two First Prize Winners will be chosen from each entry period to win the following prizes:

Grand Prize Winners will receive:
• Panasonic AG-HVX200 HD video camera
• Two p2 8 GB memory cards
• p2 storage drive
• Panasonic DMC-LX1 digital still camera
• $5,000 hard cash
• Ty Evans signature series Ogio backpack
• Atiba Jefferson signature series Ogio backpack

Two First Prize Winners will receive:

About the Prize:
The AG-HVX200 HD Camera-Recorder Puts a Host of Powerful Features in Your Hands
This handheld DVCPRO HD P2 camera-recorder is designed to meet emerging needs in HD content production. It debuts as Panasonic's first HD video product to use P2, the cutting-edge memory recording device that has the potential to revolutionize the entire production paradigm. The AG-HVX200 records HD, either 1080i or 720p video acquired by a new optical system and high-performance digital signal processor onto a P2 card using the broadcasting DVCPRO HD codec. This system achieves a level of image quality that conventional handheld HD cameras simply cannot match, while also supporting HD/SD multi-format and multi-codec recording capabilities. Variable frame rate recording is just one of the features that makes the AG-HVX200 unique in its class. Using technologies that make the Panasonic VariCam camera-recorder a favorite in movie production, this powerful function allows the overcranking and undercranking techniques used with film cameras to create fast-motion and slow-motion effects. The P2 card offers superior reliability, immediate playback and outstanding cost-performance. It allows direct connection to nonlinear editing systems and streamlines the production work flow, by providing to the editing system data files ready to be edited, rather than a video tape which would require the task of digitizing. On top of all its advanced features and technologies, the AG-HVX200 inherits the refined design and easy operation that distinguishes Panasonic's high-value DVX100 DV camera series. In the AG-HVX200, video professionals of all kinds will find a powerful tool for giving form to their creative visions.

ANYONE WANT TO BOOCLE LIPS?

last night, being pretty much the most eventful night of the season (with many yet to come) was amazing. I kicked the sh*t off with a little skateboarding, proceding to the excruciating dent in my shin. i have been told those are going to be big this season... my leg has a goose egg... then we went jibbing. i learned how to turn healside, dont pretend to not be impressed, im pretty good for a gurrrl. Following the midnight urban sesh (crashed by the fricking po) we went to humptys to make up for evans 115 $ ticket for "driving on a bulavard" (bastards) our waiter hated us so we left. then we crashed and dashed at handishans. the moral of this useless jumble of letters is i hate the police... like actually. i also got a tatoo on my neck. im pretty much boarderline hells angels.
