Nov. 21, 2007:  Billabong announces ‘Ante Up’, presented by Monster Energy, a snowboard slope style event that will work as a qualifier for the Billabong Innsbruck Air and Style event.  Ante Up will take place January 12^th, 2008 at C.O.P. resort in Calgary, AB Canada.  The winner of Ante Up will get airfare and an invite to the Billabong Innsbruck Air and Style event that will take place Feb. 2^nd, 2008.   Only 24 competitors from across the globe are invited to attend the Innsbruck event, so if you’re not invited, Ante Up is your chance at getting a piece of the Air and Style prize money.

Well we're hitting the road again! Off to Calgary to ride some rails. Geeves and Kevin Griffin are heading out today to meet up with the Calgary dudes, Dwayne Weibe, Paul Gonz, Ryan Hall and Kale Hill so it should be a good one. So I am living in utah going to school and picking up on some trade skills. I like here but sometimes it gets tough. This place pushes you the max. It pushes you so that you can see how far you can go, how much you can take. This place has brought some of the most amazing people into my life. I have met so many people who are real and awsome people. I have learned alot about life, I remember when I came in I thoguht I knew everything there was to know about life, but I am really starting to grow up and i am 19. There is alot to life that people take for granted. I am living off of $30 ever 2 weeks and its hard. But I love it. I love feeling like I am doing it myself.

Finally got to go downhilling on three stage...was really scared on my frist run and didn't enjoy it too much....the second run was much better....I started to get the hang of it and even managed to get some jumps in on the way down the runs.....Thanks to Jer, Dwayne and Shawn for the dope day...and also to the crew at "little eds" especially Nate for all the help with our gear....support your local core shop!!!

Officially Best day ever. Sunny, Good tunes f*cking awsome set up. Good riders from across canada. I managed to stick my runs in practice all morning then fall on everything in the finals. my good lord ! what the hell ! ..... this is today , 1-hockey , great times 2-jibbing first real rail of the year , trying a switch 50 down a pretty long wood rail with some drops and weird kinks and a death corner at the bottom , finally figure out the speed and start getting comfy with the weird quick drop in and we get booted . 3-jibbing , we set up a church rail , come back and chruch is in ! f*ck 3-jibbing , we go over to another rail we know that is just liek the one we set up , school is in and the lot is PACKED . 4-jibbing , i have an idea to go hit this other thing thats a backside ledge with a kink that shoots you over a set of stairs , no one really seemed too stoked on the idea and with cop driving by on an average of about 11 ever 30 seconds we decide to shut that one down 5- so we walk across the street and go look at this other kink ledge , ok cool were gonna set it up . half way through we notice that security is sitting more or less in the landing looking out the window at us , but he doesnt seem to be doing anything about it , so we continue to set up and hope that they dont come out when were done . jeff sets his shi*t up , i start to set up the camera , dwayne and ryan do the final touches on everything else , and were set to go! HOLD UP !!!! securtiy , FUCK !! jeff talks to the guy and he says . " ok one shot ! you get one photo" well this one went to ryan , he had one try to boardslide the kink ledge . and well .... he did it . video shot isnt great because i had to just set it up on the other ledge sice teh speed was an issue , and the photo , well were not too sure yet , since the guy said one shot only and stood at the window to come out and boot us after out one shot was up , jeff didnt even get to test his flashes for exposure , ...... long assss day for little to nothing , but tomorrow is a new day tj

so i came up short on a bs 5 , twice! man , i had a great day of practice today , go there early for a shred with ben , moved on to chris , then dwayne showed up , then suddy came and then sid , woo im stoked i can grab my board and do ally oop cab 3s off the hip , ahhh well im off to breck for a few days , hope everyone has a gooder

a year in review

jan- started off with a ditched saskatoon rail trip
and -40 temps that turned into a beautiful pow trip
to chatter creek in golden with scott , dwayne and
gallup .

feb - a random invite to a persons birthday
introduced me to the person id spendmost of
2004 with , i like your shoes . and a trip to japan
where i made some friends and drew on a shirt

march - to be honest i dont really remember , i
think cater and i sepnt some time that month
designing boards for next year

april - a beautiful drive through golden made me
love alberta , the weather was so nice the trails in
melted and so sledding was done for us .
may - party season started , super park hit banff .
we snowboarded we had fun . we made party

june - left i missed i turned 24 . blue drove up to
whistler from seattle and took me out for dinner , i
was soo stoked . thanks bud

july- summer camp and texts on our lunch breaks
pretty much sums that month up

august - slept on a kitchen floor but i didnt mind .
and a beautiful trip the other side of the world was
on its way . something new . something different . i
was excited

sept- videos and parties . love hate came out .

oct- ended with a death in the family and me in a
fairy costume

nov- november 1st is a day id like to forever
forget !

december - well its christmas , i dont hate
anyone . and im really looking a head to the new
year
