I'm 25 years old. I just graduated with a BBA in finance and now do fundraising for a nonprofit. This season will be my 14th on a snowboard. I also teach snowboarding at the small local ski area. I grew up in Bend, OR and love it there. Go ride Mt. Bachelor.

Grab your skiboard and lets get shradical... In Oregon.

I graduate college this year so it may be the last spring break I ever have :-( To make the most of it I've planned a snowboarding trip with my brother, the ultimate shred trip companion. We are going to hit up a few smaller Oregon ski areas that we have not ridden before and finish at Mt Hood.

First is Mt Ashland in the south, then we'll work our way north along the Cascade crest to Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, and finally end with a day or two a Mt. Hood Meadows. It's going to be awesome.

Hoodoo - what kind of cool name is that?
Willamette Pass - Frontside, and nice lookin' Backside too.
Mt Ashland - When in Ashland go skiing to avoid the hippies.
Mt Hood Meadows - We rode down a run called Gods Wall (see double diamond in trees, lower right) and some skiers at the bottom were like "Did you just ride that face? It's a cliff!"

We are totally going to schralp some sick volcano slopes! Stay tuned: a trip report will follow.geek.jpg

yeahhh. go team bend!  ok, so i didn't grow up there, but my grandma lives there and i'm heading back to the NW, making a stop at bachelor in mid april.  love it out there - and anywhere in the NW for that matter. washingtonian born and raised. booyah.  how's your season?
