   Hey all
Colorado is awesome.  I love it here.  We are having tons and tons of fun and there are lots of really really hot SBX boys here from all over the world.  THe course is easy except for the start.  I was really excited to do it and then after a couple of minor falls, went into a deep funk and wouldn't snap out of it.  I have never had anything like that happen before- very strange.  I spent a lot of time watching everyone hit the starts and after seeing lots of other carnage, knuckling the jump, airing the roller and different stuff, it just made it worse.  I just couldn't do.  I did it only once in slow motion, which was even slower than when I went through it at inspection.

Anyway, it isn't really that hard, so I am just going to do it.  Plus they are fixing it up for tomorrow to make it a bit safer.  It's all mind games from here, so I just need to get over myself.

THere isn't a hope of qualifying for tomorrow anyway, but there is a glimmer for the next day, as apparently many of the top people are leaving.  There are about 40 women from 9 countries and about 108 men from a dozen or so countries here.  A couple of things are coming into factor here:  all of the World Cup events that should have happened so far this year have been cancelled, and the X Games just wrapped up in CO this weekend.  Thus, several WC athletes are looking to the NorAm for race opportunities since there have been none, and a bunch of X Games athletes are still around and keen to race.

This makes this event very much like a World Cup which is beyond cool.  Riders like veteran Swiss girl Mellie Francon and X Games men's champ Nate Holland are all at this party so no matter what is a super cool experience.  THere are enough people here that I will go 20th out of the girls, and will have bib 150.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Good morning all!

Things here at tremblant are starting to look up a little- the old forecase high for training day has improved from -18 to -14 which is making me feel a little happier...

I'm gonna put the new Palmer Crown on the snow here this morning, and the Dreamraider in the afternoon and see how we go.  The team all spent some time cuddling with the Palmer which was adorable- he's bigger than some of the kids

More later!

Good times had by all at Big White this weekend!!!  Finished 7th on day two after some tough heats and a silly DNF on day one when I opted to spend some quality time with the b-netting...

Any-whoo, supr tired because the drive home took 11 hours (for real) due to road closure (avi).  At least I had a chance to nap in the closure line up and snooze off some of my hangover- I blame the draft Pilsner that I drank with Ryan at Sam's- gross!!   Many thanks anyway for the warm hospitality of the BC crew and especially Cale for driving me home safely- I doubt I could have made it back on my own- you rock!

We're off next to Tremblant for the first NorAm- I'm feeling good and should have at least one new board with me for the trip which I am stoked about!!

Ciao for now

Greetings all!!!

One more day then time to hit the road west!  I'll get a chance to train at the shine on Wed and have a nice morning at the Lake on Thurs before heading to Big White.  We had an awesome night training today with some good head to head carnage- even the ski coaches were cheering (they wish they were tough enough for SBX).  I even resisted just riding pipe all night- it's hard to stay out of that pipe cuz it's so freakin' fun...

So, now I'm just on a mission to sort out some snowboards that are not f***ed.  I am having some base bevel issues on my 'A' deck and my everyday freeride deck came to it's career end this week  but there may be some secret weapons coming my way real soon- look out girls!  In the mean time, Daniel is spending some quality time with the world's greatest tech, Mike and should be at least a little ready for BC.

Rock on shred crew

Hello friends and visitors and shredders everywhere

We are just a few days away from the start of the SBX season in North America and I'm pretty stoked.  I wish I could shake this cold that has been standing on my chest for the last two weeks, eventually it should just go away... Bummer that most of the WC events have been cancelled in Europe- maybe it will bring some of our best riders home for NorAms.

Can't wait to see all the SBX crew from everywhere and get on course for a proper race season- first time I will be able to do more than a couple of events and get to know everyone a little better...

In the meantime the home snow at Lake Louise/Sunshine (have to give a shout out to the the shine cuz I'm on their team :)- not easy for a Lake girl) is amazing, record season, nothing but fun, fun, fun, FUNNNNNN!!!!!!

Shout out to my new riding buddy Jim- take care of that knee
