hi i'm ron and i'm a snowboard addict..i was born in whitby ontario and grew up in north pickering, when i was 7 i got a tast for this crazy thing called snowboarding when i tryed out my friends sims switchblade( i think thats what it was..i've hit my head way to manytimes over the years) now it started out harmlessly enough with some sliding down the hill in my back yard and from time to time it would move to the nearby tobogening hill but in october of 87 things really started to go down hill(literally)when for my 8th bday i got my hands  on my vary own kemper freestyle and stared going to the local ski hills, dagmar and lakeridge( i was only one of and 5 snowboarders at the the time). i spent the next ten years trying to feed the ever growing adiction but weekends and a night or two a week just wasn't cutting it so when i was done highschool i decided to forget a higher education for alittle while and just ride everyday, it seemed like a good plan but the one thing i didn't plan on was how i would pay for my fix everyday..i tryed to hold down a job but instead of workin i'd just riding so then i was back to the whole no money thing. then a friend told me of a way that i could get my fix every day for free and get a little money too..and with that i spent the next six years pushing the addiction on kids at my home hill of lakeridge and it was a good gig but the small hills of ontairo just weren't doin it for me anymore..i was itching for something more something bigger. now i'm goin on my fourth season in th great canadian rockies and my twentieth season riding and i can't wait for opening day.
