Get stoked and exercise
This fall I have been developing all my muscles for snowboarding cause its easier to snowboard if your stronger. Have you ever seen a Capoeira dancer, now if one of those crazy guys took up snowboarding boom almost instant pro.
But that takes extreme dedication, thats why I'm taking it up. But for those who are straight up snowboarders thats it nothin else, you should be tuning your muscles, think about what muscles you mainly use when snowboarding.

The power and speed come from your legs but the upper body is also very important. Anything technical like huckin flips and crazy spins, you need power in your upper body, which will also help for balance.

Good exercises for the legs:
Squats, frog jumps anything bending your knees and jumping. Calf raises are great too.

For the upper body your abs are definilty most important. The center of your body the center of your balance and control on the snow and in the air.

If your serious about getting better you should be exercising and most importantly stretching, its good to build big muscles and be strong but the muscle itself isn't strong unless you stretch it, if you don't stretch, the muscle tears easier yeah tears imagine your muscle fibres ripping inside of you picture it go ahead.
good luck!

Its especially a good idea to get stronger if your a begginer or if last season was your first
year and you just discovered snowboarding you will improve so much more.

Ride til the lights go out!
