A year since my last post?! that's insane... and things have changed a little eh? I cant even chose a size for my font anymore, and what happened to the mail notification? also, I seem to have ghost messages (it says there's new messages - not comments, messages - but they're not there!)
How's y'all anyways?
P.S. Ha! I cheated, I changed the font size using the html instead of normal editor :p

Hey y'all! So I've slacked a bit on updating this thing.. and I still have to add pics from this summer.. and guess what, I wont be doing it for another while cos I'm off to rome for work next week, and for a wedding in the south of italy the weekend at the end of next week. Hopefully I'll get some time to go around rome at some point and take some pics to put on here when I get back. Anyhow, have a good week everyone 
Ok, so I've been away for a while again, first I was away to sardinia for a 3-day weekend, then I was back in milan for a back and forth 3 days in lugano, and finally I was up in engadin this past weekend. Now I'm back for the whole week in lausanne! well, the weather sucks here, but last night I got a call from the airport telling me that they received my bag finally! hopefully it's for real and not damaged.

so I'm back from sicily, it was ok but not the greatest, I think I might take a couple days off next week and do a long weekend down in sardinia to visit my sisters and nieces/nephews. But I'll go with just hand luggage if I do, seeing on the flight back from sicily I was put on overbooking, and they managed to lose my luggage, which still hasn't arrived (since saturday!).. whatever you do I suggest never to fly alitalia unless you have no other choice, they f*ckin suck.as for the rest here the weather sucks and is cold.. not that I complain, at least maybe the glaciers wont suffer as much.

Tuesday, against germany! semi-finals baby!
No matches for 2 days.. damn, I got used to having football overdose these last few days, I'm going to go in shock without it now!
Undecided whether (haha I had written weather lol) to go back to milan to watch the quarter final friday.. or stay here and go on the glacier sunday... hmmm.

I'm damn nervous, confident we're gonna make it, but damn nervous. At least the temperature has dropped a bit and the air is fresher. I should be worrying about other stuff, but all I can think about is todays game!!!
Well, in any case I'm back to my lil ol hometown Milan for the weekend tomorrow.
p.s. might right hand's middle finger tip (yeah that one) seems to have something wrong, like when your foot goes numb and then you get all the tingles or whatever it's called in english, well, I've had that all effin morning and it's not passing, I guess a nerve has gone crazy there or something, but anyways, it's f*ckin annoyin!
so yeah, tomorrow is already going to be a deciding game.. and I'll be leaving work early for sure!
Finally it started (it doesn't reeeeally start until your team plays), and we got the first game in.. e andiamo!
The world cup is finally starting!

and another long weekend in milan as on monday it's holiday here (so I get to work in milan on monday instead, lucky me eh? :| )
4 days, as tomorrow here is holiday and I'm takin friday off to do the typical bridge. I should be getting on from home too though seeing I'll be bringing my laptop along for work..
yep, I just realised that planes flyin in the clear blue sky give me a sense of stillness, and an itch to go somewhere!! thank god I'm off to Milan for the weekend tomorrow, I need the change, even if it's short.
So I guess it's time for a new post.. Meh, not much news, I'm dealing with the fact there's no place open close by to go shred for about another month and a half, or trying to deal with it..
In the meantime at least weekends back in Milan are going to happen more often and stuff like balelec are coming up, in less than 2 weeks actually! check it out http://www.balelec.ch/balelec06/ (yeah sorry, I know it's in french..), it's basically a big party with a few scenes at which different types of concerts take place..

Damn, that was fun, short (it felt like we had been away for just a day when we were sitting in amsterdam on the way back) but fun. Everyone I met was great, Joe and the rest of the sb.com crew were all really cool (I mean, how can they not be when they have an xbox in the meeting room with the projection screen...). I'll post pictures up as soon as I can get my act together (hey, this post so soon is already lots for my standards :p). It seems though that my jetlag is not so bad (although it's starting to kick in a lil), but the flight from vancouver to amsterdam in business class
made it a lot easier! haha, yep you heard me right, business, not sure how it happened, they called us moments before boarding and when we got to the desk they wanted our boarding cards.. my mate didn't want to give it cos he had a bulkhead seat (where you have space for legs, which we were supposed to switch midflight cos it was the only seat of that kind left and we took it), but we were grinning like idiots once we found out they put us in business :D.
right, so, it's basically time, I doubt I'll be on again for a while after now, as I have to drive back to milan this afternoon (in mad traffic of swiss going off for the easter holidays), and then I'll have to pack tonight and do a couple of things tomorrow mornin real early before going to catch the plane!
So to all ya people who'll be in whistler, c ya there! to the rest, have a nice holiday and I hope y'all can get to shred some or at least chill for a few!

what a blast, I just got in from a day spent basically in the park having fun, and watching the girls showing what they can do at the roxy chicken jam, and let me tell ya, they're HOT! they were really cool, and I got to see the first girl winner of the ticket to ride world tour, from holland Cheryl Maas! and Jenny Jones got in second in todays comp. And they couldn't have been luckier with the weather, a great sunny day, but not too warm so the snow held pretty well and didn't turn to crappy slush.
All in all a great day!

haha, I guess I'm late updating again :p
had a good weekend riding back in good ol engadin, slushy conditions on sunday, but a great sunny day.. so I hit the park a bit :)
might head back there this weekend, weather has gone back to cold, it's raining here and snowing up in the mountains, and good snow cos it's almost freezing level down here! hopefully it'll be like that in whistler in a weeks time! that's right, 9 days to the plane there, then party on!!!
Guess it's time for an update! So last sunday I was slush riding with a few fellas from sb.com in avoriaz, it was fun cos they were there, but the slush was pretty bad.. Fortunately the following days temps went back down, relieving me a bit of the dispair that had almost taken over me with visions of slush for the last rides before whistler, and of pretty much water for the end of the season in may. The sun is out again though, I'll see this weekend in st.moritz if there is anything worth riding still! (probably just the top of corvatsch..)

So I got my fix finally, went in engadin this weekend, boarding on saturday, and skiing yesterday, down the morteratsch glacier twice. Both days warm and sunny with great snow! :D so finally my goggle tan is starting to come along nicely ;)
Also went with the family up to a restaurant in this valley you to only with horse sleighs, takes about an our to get there, 2hrs to warm up to a normal body temp again whilst eating, and then some 50min back in which you freeze your ass again... if I ever do it again, I'm wearing the stuff polar expeditions use! but it was very nice apart from the cold...
