ang095 has created a new forum topic narrow down selection for brother!!. Posted on Mar 12, 2009
Sup fellas
My brother wants to get a board, and he needs some help narrowing down his list. Hes gone a few times and is learning very fast, already linking turns and hitting blacks. The biggest problem we've had with our research is that he only weighs 115 lbs. and its hard to find a board for his size for they seem to be sold out for the boards that he likes.
He really wants to get into freestyle when he gets better so he wants an all mountain type board that will be stable at high speeds but will be decent at park when he gets better. For the price range, anything under $250.
Heres the list:
-Rome Agent
-Ride DH
-Nitro T1
-O-matic Sweet or ExtremoIf you guys can help narrow this down, or give any other suggestions that'd be great! Thanks

ang095 has created a new forum topic O-Matic Boron perfect for beginners. Posted on Mar 07, 2009
I rode my omatic boron for the first time today and it was awesome!!! I'm going to give it a few more go's at it before i write up a review but i just wanted to write up a lil something for beginners looking for a board.

If you want a board that has good tech, quality base(sintered) and that all mountain type feel but dont want to spend lots of money, the Omatic boron is perfect! expect a review in a couple weeks..

ang095 has created a new forum topic freeride/ all mountain bindings.. where to start?. Posted on Feb 09, 2009
What do you recommend for a freeride based binding? I have no idea where to start, and would appreciate it if someone led me in the right direction. The binding will be for an omatic boron.

ang095 has created a new forum topic Hey, new here... Posted on Jan 07, 2009
Hey whats up everyone!?
I've been snowboarding twice now and its an amazing sport, so I really want to get my own board so i can learn on something decent. I'm not planning on getting a board till the season is over, to take advantage of sales, but it's never to early to start doing some research. So i decided to join this forum to get some help from some people that know what they are are talking about.

I want to spend around $400 for a setup maybe $500 max. I already understand that finding the right boot is the most important thing in a set up, but I can just try a bunch on when i go to the shop later on. So for now I just want advice on the type of board to get. I live on the east coast, so a board that can handle ice is somewhat important. I'm also more into freeriding, i dont think i'm going to be doing any freestyle any time soon.
But here are my stats:
5'5"
135 lbs
ride goofy
size 8 boot
I've been looking at a rossi scope and omatic boron, but i want to know what else is out there so please suggest some boards i can look into. Thanks!!!!
