A New Beginning...

I can't write for toffee, be warned.
 
Haven't been on this site for ages, but the inevitable darkening of the skies and arrival of endless rain in the UK means only one thing, the riding season is fast approaching. Can't wait. 2007's snowboarding joy will take place over New Year in Les Contamines, France. Can't say I'm too fussed about going to a resort a mere 1100m-2500m up so early in the season, but beggars can't be choosers! Probably not the best time to actually buy my own gear either (Signal 07 and Salomon SPX Pro bindings). Ice and rocks are not a snowboard's best friends.
 
Time to go outside and do a snow dance!

hopefully the snow will be okay at that time of the year. jan should be find, could be icy though, so take a helemt to protect your noggin!

yea, i think it is your age - cause i have trouble with the site and i just turned the big three-oh today!

i hope you have a really safe and fun new year and i wish you health and happiness in '06. sounds like you are starting the new year out right with a trip! i will also be in mammoth about the same time as your holiday. it'll be my first trip of the season. not a good snow season this year...but finally...we have a storm starting today!! whooo hooo!

life has been good, but damn, i have had the busiest december with work. blech. hopefully, things will be a bit easier after the new year though. how are you? i miss our chats.

Hey, My summer is good so far i've done Run to the Sun down in Nequay and hopefully i'll get to V just waiting on confirmation from "a friend" (say no more) but that should get me through to Dec when i pack up and head for the French alps for 5 months :) You have any plans for the winter? Gem

you dont like staying in on friday nights? i kidna like it.

well, especially now since i play soccer on saturdays. speaking of, check my journal!! my weekend was good. my best friend from minnesota, and her husband, were in town. i did some stuff with them. played soccer saturday morning. went dancing saturday night and was pretty much lazy all day sunday - watching the UFC fights and eating pizza. :)

how was your weekend?
