dude's shredding inside.
Lots of effort needed to set it up. and f*ckin rad that they just do it in their house and there is a bear skin rug on the wall.

Yo peeps,
After coming back from KBECK, aka the second best place in Canada next
to BC, I was set up to do some contest at this big festival in
whistler. Although in my own world I figured I would be pre-qualified
as I placed 4th the year before, missing finals by one spot, it was
not meant to be and I had to run qualifiers the day before the main
event. The qualifying day was hella foggy and everyone was being
pussies and not hitting the jump. So I rolled up and figured it would
be an awesome idea to try a judge run in the fog, and as I preceeded
to drop in, I called everyone bitches and then claimed I was going to
knuckle the jump anyways and didn't care....well I hit the nail on the
head and knuckled trying a frontside 9 and also came up 90 degrees
short on the rotation which ended up sending me into a superman down
the whole landing. With the weather they ended up cutting it from 3
runs to 1 each for the day, and that ended up being my run, so
needless to say, I did not qualify. So the next day instead of
practicing for the event I went out shooting with Serfas in the park.
We ended up trying to hit the same jump that claimed me the day
before, but once again I knuckled it and we called it off. We decided
to shred a hip at the bottom of the park that had lotsa pop that you
could air over like a table. First hit off it I over shot the sweet
spot by probably 15 feet, but stomped, so I figured why not keep
landing there if I could because it would not only make my photo sick,
but would also more or less cancel out anyone else's that wasn't going
that big, muhahaha. After moving on from backside 180s I went into
backrodeos, and landed about 5 all 15-20 feet past the knuckle, until
Serfas told me to get one more for a sequence, although I have to
admit I thought he had already shot some sequences. I proceded to
chuck another one, but over-rotated a bit, and where I was landing all
the other times was good as long as a landed perfect, but the first
time I didn't stomp right, there goes the ankle. So I am now layed up
for a week or 2(hopefully), and Serfas has claimed another victim!

Well it's that time of year again... Spring time! This is the time of year where you can take your shirt off and try and tan your pasty white body. You can see Kale and I decided to try that and all we ended up getting were sunburns and doing hand stands for fun (i spun the photo of kale around because he looks awesome pushing the earth up!). It was nice to feel that warmth after our cold winter. Spring time also means that the Telus festival gets going and we got ready to party our socks off. Our buddy Eero got a room at the Adara hotel because he rides for Monster energy and they rented out the whole hotel for a week so it turned into the party spot. As you can see we are taking advantage of that and keeping the shirt off theme in the photo below. We spent lots of time drinking Montser and Vodka and partying so before you knew it we were pretty over it and looking like me in the last photo. Tons of fun was had but we are all happy it's over so we can chill out for a bit and get back to doing some spring snowboarding.

So it is now spring time but judging by the conditions in Whistler
right now you would think it is mid winter. check the photo below with
Jake basically drowning in powder up at the lake the other day. We Just
had a good 4 day stint of sunshine so Logan and I were snowmobiling
everyday and we are a tad bit tired and sore now. Below you can see a
picture of our backcountry tour guide (and fellow Endeavor rider) Kale
Stephens taking care of his morning business before we went to build
some jumps. We stayed up till about 7:30pm yesterday to hit our jump
right till sunset and it worked out great! I raced to the city and
barely got my life together, then jumped on a flight to Montreal for
the Empire Shakedown this weekend. Stay tuned for some photos and video
update from the trip out east.

So i am getting another year older... making me a solid 22 years of
age. My B-day is this friday and we are going to have a little rager
in the city. I am teaming up with my buddy Eli because our birthdays
are a day apart. You will become more familiar with Eli Wener when
you see him golfing with Logan and I in an upcoming episode... he is a
hoot! Check the Birthday flyer below to view the style we are going
for. You can also expect the partying level possibly reach us losing
our shirts like in the other photo below... because that is not rare
to happen with us. I also will be drinking really big beers because
they taste way better. Feel free to stop by Lola's on broadway street
at 9pm on March 20th if you wanna have a great time. Seacrest out!

PS Send me any of your ridiculous b-day photos and we'll see who's are
better after the weekend!
Logan and I recently competed in the showcase showdown last
weekend and had a great time. The usual went down. i fell in one of my
runs... didn't make it to the finals and Logan landed his and made it
to the finals and got 5th place. This was the 11th annual showcase
showdown and it has evolved over time for sure, it used to be a
quarterpipe contest in the
spring up Whistler. Now they have turned it into a nighttime pipestyle
contest at the base of Blackcomb and it is great times. It is spectator
friendly with tons of prizes and a beer garden. It got really warm so the
course was falling apart a bit and the landing to the hips were getting
sketchy but i had fun hitting the hips and the take offs were nice. Pete
Anderson and Trini were on the mic being hilarious and making the crowd
laugh as they tear in to some of the competitors subtlety. All in all
the event was fun and we had fun shaking it up at the old Garfinkles
afterwards! Dom Gauthier took this photo of me on the hip. check it out!
The conditions in the back country of Whistler have been great the past
few days. I have a sweet sun burn and have been shredding tons of
pow. I have been going up snowmobiling with Kale Stephens, Nick
Gregory, and Jake Koia as well as we have been shooting photos with
Brad Heppner and Scott Serfas and filming with Morgan Rice. We wake
up at about 5:45 in the morning and finish around 7:00 when the sun
goes down. Yesterday we were scoping out a spot to build a jump and I
rode over a roll next to the zone to check out the landing. As i was
riding down on my snowmobile i saw a bunch of snow billowing up in
front of me like a small wave and i realized i was in the middle of an
avalanche! Right after i realized i was in the avalanche i felt it
pulling me and my machine to the side so i instantly pinned the
throttle and ripped over the rubble building up in front of me and
raced away from it. Luckily no one was hurt and the avalanche did not
travel far...
