Anyone who got to ride whistler on opening day was hoping for 50cm fresh but the reality of it was barely a 50cm base. But first day snowboarding of the season so who cares! We made it as epic possible. See how the Westbeach dudes rolled on opening day. Matt Belzile, Jody Wachniak, Robjn Taylor and all of our friends!

The Westbeach "Designed by Shreds" comp has drawn to a successful close and the winning entries will be selected soon. Cartwright and Belzile were riding on top of Vancouver at Grouse mtn with friends, Jaakko Sepalla, Anssi Maninnen and Stefan Carlson. The sun was out and the sun screen was flowing like beers on a friday night. They were hitting the the MEGA hips with a cool cable cam setup. We can't wait to see how everything turned out. You can see it to in the new Alterna flic, Apple and Oranges, coming out in the fall. take a look at the pics from Grouse mtn. peace and enjoy the spring snow.

Belzile and Cartwright have been filming and having fun in the Whistler Backcountry. the First day filming together the Weather wasn't as epic as they anticipated. They made the best of it, and built a sweet step down, Cartwright then took it apart landing everything he tryed. check out the video of them waiting for the light.
