Questions for new freeriding setup.

Hi,
I'm looking at purchasing a new freeriding setup. This would be my second board setup.
I'm 5' 8'', 145 pounds, with size 8 boots.
I consider myself an intermediate rider, and mostly enjoy carving down the slopes. I don't hit the park at all.
My current setup is 2000 Burton Charger, along with Burton Freestyle bindings and boots. This setup was good enough for me when I was a beginner 8 years ago, but the board is now nowhere close enough to stiff enough for me, and I get way too much chatter. Plus the boots are way packed in now, and my heels move up 1-2 inches on toe-side carves.
I'm currently looking for stiff board + boots + bindings.
So far, I am looking at the following:
Bindings: Rome Targa
Boots: Burton Driver X, Salomon Malamute (haven't found a local Salomon dealer yet for this time of the year)
Board: K2 Podium, NS Premier
A couple of questions:
1) Is the setup in general looking ok for 100% freeriding?
2) I am currently looking at a pretty good deal for a K2 Podium 159. Is this board too long for me?
Also, does anywhere in the GTA know of any shops carrying Salomon boots at this time of the year? All I've found so far is Corbett's, and they are quite expensive compared to other shops. Boardzone does not seem to carry Salomon.
Any other suggestions for gear is welcome. =)
Thanks!
