About Me 

How-dee,

The name's Amanda Jex. Born 'n raised in Edmonton Alberta I began skiing at the tender age of three. Visiting these here rockies (Sunshine,Lake Louise, Jasper, Fernie,Kicking Horse, Whistler etc etc) was a very common occurance during my up bringing.. I was IN LOVE with snow. Eventually ski lessons and tobogganing weren't enough. My parents (scared shi*tless because their little 10 year old kept trying the stand on sleds instead a sit ) bought me a small plastic "snowboard" complete with permanent bindings and a helmet and let me loose on the hills near our home.

Eventually I tried actually snowboarding 7 years later on a wim and haven't gone skiing since.

  I came to Canmore for a visit after graduating high school, I fell in love all over again.  I started working up at Sunshine Village in the daycare for the 05/06 season and here I am a year later loving every last minute. 

Future plans= Become a cougar and co-chair of the greys-on-trays club.
