About Me

I'm in my early 30's and enjoying life at the fullest. Got sick of the dutch mentality the past years so it was time for me to escape the unnecessairy hectic life in Holland. I'm looking for a job as an custom installer / project manager in the home-automation sector, you know all the fancy stuff you see in MTV Cribs.

I started snowboarding in the early 90's, and wanted to start competing in the 'Dutch Indoor Pepsi Challange' in the summer of 98. Unfortunately I had my back fractured at the closing week of the winterseason in Tignes. After 2 years of recovery and being lucky that I could still walk I decided to go freeriding (backcountry riding) instead of participating in the freestyle competions.  Although it's been 10 years ago now I still get scared sometimes when I'm speeding down the mountain. I don't want to have the same pain again which I had to endure for almost 1 year.

Leaving the past behind me I'm hoping that I can build a new life here with new friends.

Words of Wisdom

Enjoy life while you can, you'll never know what might happen to you or the people around you, which might have a big impact on your life.

Hi there, been here for a little while now but still haven't explored it much.  When did you move here.

The only constant in my life is change.

Free ride is the soul of snowboarding.  Hucking yourself off a kicker and doing 300 spins for the amusement of those that would stand there to watch doesn't jibe.
