There was a song that I loved but I really only knew 5 seconds of it and I didn't even know who it was or what it was or where I loved it from. Sometimes just those 5 seconds that I knew would get stuck in my head out of nowhere. Then, today, I got a new cd and it was on there. I was really happy about it. I still don't know where I know it from or why it would get stuck in my head...but at least now I can listen to the song and get it out of my head.
Whew.
What a relief.

Today, I saw a guy in a commercial that I knew. It was kind of weird. He was a regular at the other restaurant that I worked at. He was the funniest.
True story. Maybe not the funniest. I think I already gave that title to Siofan. I gotta be fair.

So, like, this week, I got a new job and it's like SO AWESOME and I thought that was way cool, but then, like, all the people there are really nice and even better was quitting my old job felt, like, really good. No, really, it felt good. So, I guess, my last day is on Thursday and in the mean time, I've been working at the other place and the old job and its really tiring. Anyway, as if that wasn't exciting, me and my totally hottie of a boyfriend moved into our new place. Like, ohmygod, our apartment is, like, SO NICE. So, we had a wet moving day but I had some TOTALLY AWESOME FRIENDS who helped a lot and they were awesome and totally helped out a lot.
So, its been a lot of work and there is way more unpacking to do but its, like, so exciting.
Ohmygod.

siofandavies is the funniest person I know. I don't think she always was but she certainly gained this loft title when she said:
"I don't trust that Angelina Jolie. I hope she never becomes an aircraft mechanic."
If only it were a haiku.

What a strange creature the justice system is...
Today, it was a pretty big thing at the Vancouver court house as it was the day that the two men who were standing accused of the Air India bombing were to hear the decision that was made of them.
The verdict came back Not Guilty due to evidence gone missing, two witnesses being murdered, and other persecution witnesses being not credible.
And yet Scott Peterson gets death.
Of course, we don't have the death penelty in Canada, but still, Not Guilty?

This is my cat Jerry. Isn't he the cutest? In my old building, he had a lot of girlfriends. Now he doesn't have any. If you have a cat we can arrange a play date. I think Jerry would like that.

I went to the panty bum art show on Friday night. It was good except that everyone was talking about America's Next Top Model and it made me sad that I work on Wednesday nights because now I don't know what people are talking about.
Sigh.

I bought a bike yesterday. Its in pieces right now but me and Josh are going to fix it up and paint it all pretty and make it shiney and enviable.
When its done, you can call me and we'll go for bike rides to the gelato store.
And I moved. Call me on my cell if you want to get in touch with me.

I am moving really soon.
My home line will be disconnected (the one that starts with 299) and I will only have my cell phone (the 537 one) for the next 6 weeks or so. Also, I don't really have a permenent address at the time being so maybe you should not send me any exciting postcards from your exotic vacations until April, that would be awesome.
We move into our place March 31. Weeeeee!

Hurrah!
Weeeeee!!
Tastes like HAPPY!
Yup, we have a home.

I got an aquarium, a cordless telephone, a card, a joint and a beagle calander!
The last three were from restaurant regulars.
I have an AQUARIUM! I'm going to put pretty fish in there and Crystal and I can be fish nerds
Totally.
You can come over and see them when they are ready.

It's Christmas time
There's no need to be afraid
At Christmas time, we let in light and we banish shade
And in our world of plenty we can spread a smile of joy
Throw your arms around the world at Christmas time
But say a prayer
Pray for the other ones
At Christmas time it's hard, but when you're having fun
There's a world outside your window
And it's a world of dread and fear
Where the only water flowing is the bitter sting of tears
And the Christmas bells that ring there
Are the clanging chimes of doom
Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you
And there won't be snow in Africa this Christmas time
The greatest gift they'll get this year is life
(Oooh) Where nothing ever grows
No rain nor rivers flow
Do they know it's Christmas time at all
(Here's to you) raise a glass for everyone
(Here's to them) underneath that burning sun
Do they know it's Christmas time at all
Feed the world, feed the world, feed the world
Let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it's Christmas time again

T minus 7 days and counting
This year, I'm totally stoked for Christmas. Even a little bit about going home for the events. It's true. It's so fun. Instead of groaning at all the commercials, I get excited. The Christmas lights are up everywhere, and yes, I am listening to Christmas songs. Exciting stuff.
And sure, its commercialised and all of that, but if you can't see past the ads, the shopping, and the whole ordeal of buying presents, you're missing the point. There is money to made but there is money to give too.
Yay! Christmas.
Maybe it's just because I am almost done school?

one by one the teardrops fall as I write you
one by one my words come falling on the page
one by one my dreams are fading in the twilight
one by one my schemes are falling fast away
one by one the flowers fade here in my garden
one by one the leaves are falling from the trees
one by one my hope are vanished in the clouds dear
one by one like snowflakes melting in the breeze
one by one my hair is turning grey
one by one my dreams are fading fast away
one by one I read your letters over
one by one I lay them all away
one by one the days are slipping up behind you
one by one the sweetest days in life go by
one by one the moments stealing up behind you
one by one she'll come and find not you or I
one by one I hear the soft words that you whispered
one by one I feel your kisses soft and sweet
one by one I hope you'll say the words to marry
one by one to one by one forever be

In order to write a good paper, you need an open window and a good glass of wine.
Have you gone to siofandavies' profile yet to do her survey? You should.

I am going in hiding for a little bit. I will be underneath the big pile of books that surround my computer. I know, this is nothing new for most people. Wednesday is the re-emerginf of me...at least temporarily. Just in time for opening day...
In the mean time, everyone should go to siofandavies' profile and do her survey for her class.
Yes please. Surveys are fun. But this one is, like, way fun!!
