Words of wisdom: shi*t that’s easy for me, Don’t ride the Burton Bandwagon! Its easy as a start up rider to see Burton as a talked about great Snowboard Co. but the hype is not real any more. Rock gear and boards from a company you like and dig on the designs, make your board choice stand out and ride to the feel you like. If you like Burton then go with it! Just don’t ride and rep the process logo because it’s the popular choice…that’s not a boarder in my mind.
Now I made this mistake early on with starting to ride myself, the only room I have to talk on this is that I realized that it was all hype and bandwagon gear and style. In my mind Burton started to sell out in the industry of snowboarding. Too many branches of the company and a over load of gear and technology such as Motorola blue tooth jackets and helmets, come on keep it frosty and ride…keep the cell in a locker and get that shi*t later.
Now As you can see from my Pic's I do ride Burton. However I ride the boards if they are the right type feel and style of ride for what I am looking for. I like Burton for some gear and Boards so dont get me wrong I am not bashing the Burton Line, I just dont like it when people jump on the bandwagon just because thats all they know. Also Shawn White, Killer rider right? Hell yes he is. but the way burton puts him out in the spot light to represent the company is a little over done! I dont know its just the way i fell on it.
