My Journal

It is official; I broke the talus bone in my ankle. Crutches for 8 weeks.

Thursday, April 27, 2006

So let’s see, I have 252 stairs to go down and up each day to get to my nest on a cliff that I call home. That means ever two weeks I will have climbed 3,528 stairs getting to and from my house, excluding any other stairs I may come across in that time. The CN tower has more stairs then any other building on earth with 3,500 stairs. Great! So I’m climbing the equivalent of the CN Tower on crutches every two weeks. But wait, I have eight weeks on crutches! I’m going to have the left leg of a kangaroo when I’m done. If you see me hopping around the office thirsty like I live in the outback of Australia don’t hesitate to offer me a glass of water :-)
