Well Kiddies as another australian winter comes to an end and we all start planning out summer craziness i have manged to log a stagering 30 days on snow this season from my place in Qld. I've ridden Mt Hotham, Mt Buller, Falls Creek, Persiher and Thredbo and had some bloody good days and some real fun days riding with crew from Qld that i haven't ridden with before that i had always wanted to ride with. So i suppose what i'm saying is that the snow was still a bit shi*te over the past month or so but i've had heaps of fun and i think i might even get back down there before the end of season for a least a couple more days of fun before we're focussing on Japan and how good its going to be to ride some real powder.

So stoked this morning as the weather has finally given us some hope for our southern hemisphere winter by giving the mountains a dusting this morning and it looks like there will be more white stuff in the hills over the next couple of days.

Perfect time to order your new Heresy Custom Snowboard, Tim is keen on getting orders in real soon so if your keen let me know real soon.

Folklore Skateboards is absolutely going off and keeping me busy along with Red X fins new shipment of Soft Roof Racks that are the nicest ones on the market here in Oz.

Its been heaps of fun with plenty of Skating with the Folklore crew and some surfing in Margaret river. Getting pretty amped for the snow its not long now.

Had such a rad first week on the job with Folklore Skateboards last week.

I smashed my weekly target actually i doubled it so the boss was stoked.

The week started with a road trip up to Gympie and the sunshine coast and just about everyone i saw up there was amped on me being the new rep for Folklore. Then i came home to a fresh shipment of stock and then i made some calls around brisbane and the response was the same.

I went and saw slayer on the thursday night which was definately the highlight of the year so far and i'll be posting some pics in the next couple of days.

Friday i spent a shi*t load of money on my car just trying to keep the f*ckin thing on the road is always expensive with a couple more stops at skateshops around the goldie as well.

And then on Friday arvo i went and got my first tattoo. Which alot of you would know is about time i'll post a photo sometime soon. But for those of you who are old skateboarders its a graphic from vision from the late 80's called the contortionist.

You would think the week would end there on a high note but no off to the Mini Grass track nationals on the sat which was also at the same place as the FMX Nationals so saturday was heaps of fun as well.

And to tops things off my football team the Broncos won against the Knights last night so i'm so stoked this morning its hard to focus on the job at hand.

Went to the V Music Festival on the weekend it was heaps of fun and i was stoked to see the pixies live show after listening to them for so many years.

The girls in the Red Bull tent looked after us as usual and it was cool running into crew i haven't seen for years who came out of the wood work to see the Pixies.

Oh well back to work this week on a full on basis which will hopefully lead to moving to a new house this month.

Hey Crew

Well last week was such a full on thing that i'm glad its over...

And then this week is gonna be full on in a different way - work.

I've got new reps starting in Victoria and West Oz for Red X, Heresy Snowboards & Big Island Fin Co. So you should start to see more of our product in those places.

And i have to orchestrate the whole thing plus more stuff coming from China & the US to supply the demand these guys are going to be creating...

Also i'm now officially in training as i'll be in Margaret River in May for some work and surfing...

Gotta get big wave fit in just over a month sounds like fun eh?

Hey crew

Its been a super tough week this past week with one of australian skateboarding's nicest and raddest young fella's - Shane Cross - taken from us by an unfortunate accident and one of australia's true legends of vert - Ben Pappas - also taken from us in mysterious circumstances...

I've been crying, i've been a shoulder for others to lean on and i've been super cranky plus so many other emotions all rolled into one this week and there's still the funeral's and stuff to attend...

All i can say to you reading this is i treasure your friendship even if i've never met you face to face because we share something in common a love for life in its various forms...

Both of these guys loved life and lived it to the fullest and i'm sure they're smilin down on us without any regrets other than the things that they could have still accomplished in the years to come...

I'm sure they've joined my other skateboarding mates where ever it is you go and they're all waiting for us to come join the eternal sessions in the sky...

Well my ankle slowed me up in the final of the dreamworld flowrider contest. All dosed up on pain killers and strapped up (i even shaved my ankle for the first time ever). And i still couldn't get any weight on the blasted thing so i failed to even place.

But on a good note Jai West from Forster (Now living on the Goldie) won the trip for two to San Diego Wavehouse and seeing he was one of our crew in the final we're all super stoked for him and his chick. Big Al and I had a good session but failed to impress...

Oh well there's always next year...

On the work front I have just hooked up Dean Richards from Surfwest Magazine in WA to do some sales rep work for a few of the companies i work for. I'm stoked and he's stoked to be on board helping me spread the good word...

Boom Winter 2007 gear is about to hit the shops and if your local store doesn't get any in question them as to their mental stability as this shi*t rocks...

I'm in the Flowrider Finals tonight at dreamworld and on current form i should do pretty good. I won't be winning though as there are a couple of lads that ride better than me and good luck to em i say...

I'll try and post some photos of the action it should be a pretty rad night with Dreamworld being open to 3000 punters with John Course from Ministry of Sound spinning some tracks...

As for everything else all's good and there are even rumours that Poorboy has new owners in the states and we could see a return of the winter line of sick snowboard goodies this winter here in Oz.

I'll keep you all posted on any developments...

Well i'm super jealous at the moment of the crew overseas at the moment because your getting heaps of snow and back here on the gold coast its bloody hot...

The silly season was heaps of fun and i'm kinda glad its over as i really need to get back into work mode which seems to hard in december and jan...

Boom is crankin at the moment with a bunch of new lads being added to our team including my good mate Trent Bonham...

Heresy is looking for more supporters worldwide so we can put our master plan into effect...

Big Island is constantly running out of stock because everyone likes our fins...

ESD is becoming australia's number one parts dealer for imported mini moto x bikes...

Red X is cruisin as usual and our wax seems to be a top seller for a lot of crew...

And of course being this time of year i'm selling truck loads of surfboards...

I should be back on the road in the next couple of weeks and i'm amped to catch up with all my friends along the east coast of Oz...

On the rumour mill front apparently this season will see the return of Poorboy as it has a new owner in the states but i will keep you all posted on the developments as they happen...

To all the crew in Thredbo we're thinking of you all as the fire season turns it up a notch and threatens our little slice of heaven again hopefully the fires don't destroy any more of our precious ecosystem...

And i don't know if any of you heard but they had 30cm on xmas day so there is still hope for snow in Oz in my books...

Hope your all well and looking forward to a mad christmas season...

The parties haven't stopped since Indy and i'm finding it hard to leave the goldie to get some work done...

 

But i'm doing a quick mission to Sydney this week to drop off some surfboards and fins and surfboard wax and catch up with some crew...

It'll be short lived as i am required to be back on the Gold Coast for the opening of the new dreamworld water park next weekend so 2000 klms this week just for fun then back for a whole month of fun through to New Years eve...

I've just started a new fin company with a mate of mine which will mean that shapers will not only be able to get the best removable fin system (red x) from me but also their glass on and mal fins...

Hi All

Well after 6 short weeks the crew at Unit and I have gone our seperate ways they just weren't the company i thought they were so after alot of f*ckin around for bugger all reward we have parted ways.

We're still friendly though as they will be sponsoring a new dvd project that i am involved with and maybe sometime in the future we will work together again but right now they didn't fit in with what i'm doing and i didn't fit in with what they were doing so no more UNIT for me...

On the other things front we are trying to push HERESY SNOWBOARDS into the northern hemisphere as their witner approaches with some of our team riders already over there getting ready to explode. And of course we are trying to get our local shops here at home to dedicate some more floor space to our products...

BOOM SKATEBOARDS is making a really big push at the moment to lift their game here in Oz and hopefully after a summer of selling truck loads of skateboards we may back on track. BOOM is australasia's longest running skateboard label and with any luck we'll see a return to our glory days. Check out our new ads in just about every new issue of SLAM to hit the shelves...

As usual the Surfboard side of things is starting to get out of control as we approach summer and i'm off to sydeny this week on a huge sales mission with all the board labels i represent. The lads from CHAOS SURFBOARDS have just made a quiver for the lads from PEARL JAM and we are currently giving a surfboard away through Australian Surfing Life as well to lift our exposure as we run into summer...

And on the MINI MOTO X front ESD's website and online store is now up and running and we are quickly becoming the premier parts dealer for the mini moto x market in the country. So check out the website and let me know if you need anything....

Just got back from a whirlwind trip to Sydney for Boom Skateboards...

Pretty good just try draggin 100 kilos of stuff around the airport on your own its heaps of fun and character building stuff...

Thanks to the ladies at Quantas for not chargin me to much for my extra luggage...
