About Me 

I was born in Hawaii, then moved to Steamboat when I was five. I have basically grown-up in this interesting town...whom, likes to call themselves "ski town usa." Contrary to the popular belief that this is a hick town, I have never riden horse instead of driving a car, I dont wear wranglers and a cow-boy hat, and you usually have to travel a ways out of town to see anything that might closely resemble a "cow-boy." Nope no barns, cowboy boots, or rodeos (except in the summer, when i work at the concession stand) . Its a some what regular town with an amazing mountain, and ill tell you what growing up in a ski town is an experience nothing else could match.  It took me 16 years and ive finally jumped ship, I now live in Oregon...we will see how i adapt...

WARNING-GIRL VENTING
 i was wandering  this website and found the most disturbing thing ever... the majority of the people on this website have probably never snowboarded or are so bad at it that the give the sport a bad name.  girls with there boobs so pushed up that there gasping for air, and  guys that only what to find a hot chick they can con into having cyber sex. Come on people, snowboarding is NOT a trend...its a way of life!! its not about what new gear you have or how good you look in it, its about having fun and waking up every morning with a smile on your face just because YOU have something in your life that isnt stressful or filled with drama. everyday when you wake up to the melodic sounds of the snow report, you know from the moment you strap yourself in, your alive!
SO...next time you try to call yourself a snowboarder, think about the people who your trying to be, what snowboarding is to them.
